* BigLippedAlligatorMoment: Mostly Subverted. Every song in the movie has at least some relevance to the plot and characters. Still, considering that its an action movie, the very idea of musicals might be offputting.
* FanonDiscontinuity: Many people felt the second half in general and the ending in particular as underwhelming and too happy for all the build up done in the first half.
* TheWoobie: Anjali for most of the movie, and Jai [[spoiler: when is courtmartialed for treason]].
