Many found the coincidence exceedingly amusing, especially the author.
** In episode 32, a Spanish Pretty Cure explains that there are other Pretty Cure teams around the world. A few years later, [[Anime/HappinessChargePrettyCure that would become canon.]]
** The main character of this fan fic is named Chloe. In 2015, ''Anime/SmilePrettyCure'' was dubbed as ''Glitter Force'', and Reika's dub name was Chloe.
