* BaseBreaker: Nick. Either an OK Red who has issues with confronting problems (Namely, fans criticize that Nick runs away from all of his problems and frequently gives up), or one of the largest CanonSue characters ever made by Power Rangers (Which this page is biased towards).
* BigLippedAlligatorMoment: Piggy's appearance is a textbook example.
** Especially since it's the closest thing we get to an ''SPD'' crossover.
* CreatorsPet: Nick, due to being a CanonSue.
** The final episode takes steps to remove him of this status though, by having him give up instead of trying to fight The Master. Although it quickly steps away of removing him from this when the other rangers say he's their only hope and has "always been the one to hold them together", despite alot of evidence to the contrary.
* CrossoverShip: While not a romantic one, Chip and Dustin from ''Ninja Storm'' are commonly best friends in fandom due to being the nerd of their teams and for being the only male yellow Rangers (Which is commonly lampshaded during fanfics).
* CrowningMusicOfAwesome: The fantasy style background music is pretty damn cool.
** The theme song itself, while not the best, has some ''sweet'' violins one can hear during the credits (Or during Xander's fight during Once A Ranger).
* EnsembleDarkhorse: Xander, maybe it's the accent, maybe it's the wannabe LoveableRogue vibe his smarminess gives off, maybe it's just the color green.
** Proof: When Operation Overdrive had a multi-season team-up episode instead of a full two-team crossover, Xander was the one brought in from Mystic Force. He's so much this that they had [[Series/PowerRangersSPD another Green Ranger]] get a promotion to Red Ranger.
** Chip, while less popular, still has a notable fanbase, primarily due to being one of two yellow Western Rangers who's a guy alongside [[Series/PowerRangersNinjaStorm Dustin]] (''Super Sentai'' had plenty of yellow males before, but Saban commonly changed them to women when adapting seasons).
* FanPreferredCouple: Vida and Chip.
* FridgeBrilliance: The final scenes of the season show [[spoiler: the humans of Briarwood accepting the magical creatures that inhabit the forest.]] This could potentially have helped sow the seeds for ''SPD'', wherein humans and aliens live (mostly) together in harmony.
* FridgeLogic: In the "Dark Wish" three-parter, Imperious captures Jenji and wishes that the Mystic Force rangers never got their powers. The result is that history is rewritten: the villans, led by Imperious, conquered the world on the day that the rangers were supposed to get their powers (four months ago), and nobody remembers the pre-wish world besides the five rangers, Jenji, and most of the villans including Imperious. However... logically speaking, if the rangers never got their powers, wouldn't Imperious and Jenji still be trapped in the cave that only the rangers could open? Additionally, Morticon is absent from the post-wish world. Shouldn't he be alive if there were no rangers to kill him?
** Furthermore, as mentioned in WebVideo/HistoryOfPowerRangers, what of the ''other'' Rangers that existed before this point? If they were defeated, does this mean ONLY the Mystic Force rangers could have done something about it?
*** Well, a lot of them, no. The Power coins were destroyed, the Dino Thunder Gems don't work, the Ninja Morpher powers were sealed into the abyss, SPD is in the future, as are the members of Time Force, the Turbo Powers are gone... But that still leaves the Lost Galaxy Rangers, the Lightspeed Rescue rangers, the Zeo Rangers, and a few others seen in "Forever Red."
*** Jason used the T-Rex coin in "Forever Red," implying that the other Dino Coins could be made to work again as well (it was actually the Ninja coins that were destroyed by Goldar). If we include those Rangers, then we have the Original team, Zeo, Space, Lost Galaxy, Lightspeed Rescue, Eric and Wes from Time Force (who could easily contact the others in the future for help), the Ninja Morphers were able to be brought back by Cam once for a short time (maybe he could do it again, and even if not, they still have their ninja powers), and the Dino Thunder Gems were repowered in SPD, which implies they could be made to work again, leaving the possibility of the Dino Thunder Rangers. That's a possible 8 teams of Rangers, along with allies such as the Alien Rangers of Aquitar, the people of KO-35, the Blue Centurian, the Masked Rider, and others who have appeared to assist over the years. It does boggle the mind that 5 kids with copies of ''[[{{Literature/HarryPotter}} The Standard Book Of Spells, Grade 1,]]'' would be able to triumph where all those seasoned warriors could not.
* HeartwarmingMoments: [[Heartwarming/PowerRangersMysticForce Has its own page.]]
* HilariousInHindsight: Read "Les Yay" one trope down. Then remember that earlier two-parter where [[LesbianVampire Necrolai sired Vida as a vampire]].
** And early on in "Rock Solid", Nick accused Madison of hiding behind her camera, [[OutOfFocus which in a sense would become a recurring problem for her]].
** In contrast to the above, the fact that Nick pretty much owned the series means something different now that [[{{Nickelodeon}} another Nick]] has acquired ''the franchise''.
** Speaking of the other Nick, it's funnier to see Vida get hit with green slime in "Petrified Xander" considering it's the network's trademark.
** Daggeron says he will train Chip as a knight. In ''Series/PowerRangersOperationOverdrive'', Chip's actor voiced the Sentinel Knight.
** As pointed out by Linkara in ''WebVideo/HistoryOfPowerRangers'', the booming voice that announces the spells the Rangers use to morph or enter their Mystic Titan Mode sounds suspiciously like [[Series/PowerRangersMegaforce Gosei]]...
* JerkassWoobie: Leelee.
* LesYay: In the finale, the Rangers see Necrolai as a human, and Vida enthusiastically backs up Xander's assessment that she's hot. Of course, this makes the two-parter where [[LesbianVampire Necrolai sired Vida as a vampire]] HilariousInHindsight.
** Only problem with that being that Necrolia once openly admitted to having a relationship with a human (Vida's father).
** There's also some between Leelee and Claire.
* MemeticBadass: Xander. He even has his own [[http://rangerboard.com/showthread.php?t=82283 Chuck Norris facts list]]
* MartyStu: Nick manages [[CanonSue to be]] [[CreatorsPet several varieties]].
* {{Narm}}:
** '''Fear the mighty Titan Megazord as it stands majestically before its quivering foe and draws its mighty swor'''- is that thing wearing a witch's hat and pointy ''elf'' shoes?
** Hey, Xander unlocked a new spell code! I wonder what awesome magical power they'll get this ti-...''[[RedBoxingGloves boxing gloves?!]]''
* MemeticMutation: "Who's [[OutOfFocus Madison]]?" A common complaint is that Nick's bike got more focus than she did.
* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodPlot: They didn't adapt several good parts of [[Series/MahouSentaiMagiranger Magiranger]] such as the [[{{Tearjerker}} episode 28]] and [[MomentOfAwesome the use of the Dial Rod Bowgun to destroy Oculous/Cyclops]] just to introduce the Battlizer and giving even more importance to Nick. Those examples would give Chip more deserved character development.
* UglyCute: Phineas.
