* SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic: The main battle theme (which is a good thing since you're going to be hearing it ''a lot''), as well as the final boss battle theme (which is a remix that includes the main battle theme and Zaygos' theme).
* DemonicSpiders:
** The round rock enemies explode for massive damage. You have no idea WHEN they'll explode for massive damage. If other round rock enemies are considered to be next to them when they blow, they TOO will explode for a chain reaction of massive damage. And all of them have enough HP to where there's a very high chance you're going to be sucking rock shards.
** If you're ever unfortunate enough to have to take on a Fighter, hope like crazy that it uses its flying kick, because otherwise your entire party is going to have to deal with a LOT of hits spread throughout it for what's likely to be a massive amount of total damage. Its upgraded version, the Red Gang, is even worse since it's much harder to kill them before they attack, and you will often have to fight SEVERAL of these punks at once, typically among still more enemies.
* NauseaFuel: [[WombLevel The Dragon Cave.]] [[spoiler:Since it has no branching paths whatsoever, once you exit through the '''mouth''', it becomes painfully obvious [[AssShove how you entered the beast]].]]
* ThatOneBoss:
** The Renegades are a DualBoss and each has the ability to attack twice a turn (possibly against the same character) if they want. They know and need nothing else; if they decide to hit a character a total of four times in one turn, that character is very likely going down.
** Once you can actually fight back against Lokiarn, there's that problematic little matter of how Chezni is the only character who can deal damage. If Chezni goes down, consider it a GameOver in progress.
** The final two bosses have obscene damage resistance that only one spell from only one character is meant to be able to punch through. Again, if Chezni goes down, you're basically screwed. [[spoiler: This said, it's a fair bit less so if you realize that [=ATBack=] works against both of them, but who used support magic in mid-90s [=JRPGs=]?]]
