* AccidentalInnuendo: Koneko-chan loves mochi ice cream so much, she makes suggestive noises as she chews and is left in a daze of pleasure after finishing.
** If there are other people in the room, invite them over to watch with you. Otherwise they'll just hear Raku-chan talking and think you're watching Asian porn. This goes double for [[MostAnnoyingSound episode four]].
* AlternateCharacterInterpretation: [[FlatCharacter Koneko-chan]] doesn't have any involvement in Raku's romance, or even any other defining characteristics. At times it seems like she is aware of her true nature, horrified at the world and show in which she lives. Other times, it seems like she is high or intoxicated, supposedly to run away from the AwfulTruth.
** Or, Raku could be mentally disabled, Koneko is friends with her out of sympathy (or legitimate friendship) and Hitoshi is being a dick and teasing her.
* BileFascination
* BigLippedAlligatorMoment: The scene where [[spoiler:Raku-chan's friends from college visit her]] absolutely comes out of ''nowhere'', even by the show's standards.
* BrainBleach: You'll need it.
* CrowningMomentOfFunny:
** Hitoshi [[CharacterSong singing]] [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GBD_4UnVMs4&feature=g-u-u&context=G27c21d0FUAAAAAAAAAA Hips Don't Lie.]] His SmugSnake voice is already hilarious in its own right, but that combined with near constant {{Corpsing}}, doing FunnyVoices, and the song choice itself is comedy gold.
*** He sounds drunk.
** Everything about Vet-sama.
** "There's freedom in this country. This is [[LastSecondWordSwap Americ-- ...Japan]]."
* EnsembleDarkHorse: Squirrel-chan/Squeaker-chan.
** The black cat that appears in the intro is also very well liked compared to the rest of the cast.
** Kidnapper-kun also has his fair share of fanart over on Website/DeviantArt.
* FanNickname: In [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0BpZite1jNo Episode 6]] of the ''"Let's Watch!"'' series by [[http://www.youtube.com/user/Iotametroid Failsafe Productions]], the kidnapper is given the nickname Geoff. Judging by some of the comments posted on the ChristmasEpisode, it's starting to catch on.
** [[WordOfGod Yoli-chan herself]] has [[http://comments.deviantart.com/1/260924151/2255054728 acknowledged it as his fanname]].
* {{Fanon}}: Koneko having feelings for Raku is the most common, though it's also not uncommon to think neither girls are really cat girls.
* FanPreferredCouple: [[LesYay Raku/Koneko]]. [[StockholmSyndrome Hitoshi/Geoff]] was the biggest FPC until [[spoiler:it became canon in the finale]].
* FetishRetardant: The FanDisservice mentioned on the main page, as well as how OffModel everything always is.
* FreudWasRight: Koneko-chan's wang tail.
* FridgeHorror: Someone out there wanted this to exist so badly that they made it with the help of their friends.
** Rabies is basically a universally fatal disease (with one known human survivor), and given that [[spoiler:Raku-chan]] doesn't seem to have received [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Post-exposure_prophylaxis post-exposure prophylaxis]], she will probably die. [[TheScrappy Not that that's bad]]...
* FridgeBrilliance: After [[spoiler:Raku-chan's death, Bokutachi-San]] is seen acting cheerfull and happy, even [[spoiler:taunting Hitoshi-San for killing her by breaking her heart]]. It seems pretty cruel until you remember [[spoiler:Koneko and Raku previously foiled his attempts to molest Hitoshi]]. Of course he'd be happy [[spoiler:to see one of them gone]].
* HoYay: Despite getting kidnapped and almost raped by the guy, Hitoshi-san has homoerotic daydreams about his kidnapper. [[spoiler:They get together in the final episode.]]
* [[LoveItOrHateIt Like it or Hate It]]: It's either a TrollFic that's SoBadItsGood for hilariously mocking and parodying common anime tropes and clichés, or an incomprehensible mess overflowing with lousy character design and really irritating voice-acting. You decide.
* MarySue: None of the characters are well-rounded or likable. That said, Raku-chan is easily a Sue and fits into several different categories of Sues:
** AntiSue: Has no positive qualities. Is whiny and her immaturity is stated by Koneko-chan. Her voice is also so irritating that why any of the characters would deal with her is a mystery. Despite all this, she is the primary love interest of Hitoshi-san and is apparently great friends with Koneko-chan.
** BlackHoleSue: Despite the series supposedly being about three different characters going about their lives, everything is strung along by Raku-chan and her infatuation with Hitoshi.
** PuritySue: All her obvious flaws are played off as being "Kawiee" and cute. Everyone loves her.
** ParodySue: If the show happens to be a StealthParody.
** SympathySue: She even mentions that it's a dick move to be using a squirrel bite to gain sympathy and still does it anyway. And it works.
* MemeticMutation:
** The terms "Downright sugoi" and "I am very arigatoful" are becoming fairly popular among fans.
** Kidnapper-kun's actual name is Bokutachi-san, but in a reference to the ''[[http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL8B829A467FDCC8E6 Let's Watch!]]''...
* MemeticSexGod: Hitoshi-san.
* {{Moe}}: The show is essentially a moe drama.
* MostAnnoyingSound: The ending theme, and the 45 seconds of screaming after the squirrel bites Raku-chan.
** Hell, ''any'' time Raku-chan opens her mouth.
** Both the opening and ending songs. TastesLikeDiabetes taken UpToEleven.
** The spell [[spoiler:Vet-sama uses to cure Raku-chan of her cat demon]] is either this or a CrowningMomentOfFunny.
* {{Narm}}: ''Yes''. By the torukku load.
* NightmareFuel: Raku-chan's dream sequence at the start of Episode 10. The special effects, or the lack thereof, makes it more horrifying than it should be.
** The ending song from the last chapter manages to be surprisingly sinister, disregard if this was the intention or not.
* RomanticPlotTumor: Raku-chan and Hitoshi's relationship.
** Hitoshi-san's daydreaming and possible feelings for his kidnapper/attempted rapist seem to be shaping into this.
* TheScrappy: Raku-chan, even when compared to the other characters, because of her horrifically high-pitched voice and whining.
** RescuedFromTheScrappyHeap: The hate cooled a bit after her ([[AnimationBump shockingly well-animated]]) [[spoiler: death scene]].
* SoBadItsGood
* SpecialEffectsFailure: The Windows Movie Maker text. Also when Raku-chan and Koneko-chan crash through a window to save Hitoshi-san.
* StrangledByTheRedString: Hitoshi-san and Raku-chan. [[spoiler:The finale subverts this, however.]]
* TearJerker: [[spoiler:Raku-chan's death's aftermath]]. Oh sure, her [[spoiler:death]] in itself is hilariously {{narm}}y, but the reactions of the other characters, and especially the [[spoiler:end theme]] are depressing as all hell.
** Hell, [[spoiler:Raku-chan's death]] was pretty tear jerking thanks to a combo of AnimationBump and [[spoiler:Raku-chan's]] voice-acting during [[spoiler:her final sayonara to Hitoshi and Koneko]] being done a LOT better in this scene.
** From the word go, episode ten was a tearjerker. After only nine episodes, the fanime that has grown on you has come to a close. This is it, the last episode, the grand finale... Then the video starts [[spoiler:and you find that the sugary and hopeful opening theme True Love has been replaced with the heart-rending love balad Is This Love by Whitesnake...]]
* TheyJustDidntCare: The opening theme is borrowed from ''VideoGame/DanceDanceRevolution''. However, rather than finding a copy of it online, the creators somehow recorded it straight off the game, with the announcer and everything.
* {{Wangst}}: Raku-chan.
