* SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic: For a short-lived puppet show, it's got a pretty catchy (if short) theme song.
-->All God's creatures, fresh off the grill! So come on down to Mr. Meaty's, where friends meet to eat... meat.
* CultClassic: The show has gained a pretty decent following in recent years.
* EnsembleDarkHorse:
** A lot of fans remember Chip 2.6, the robot from the episode ''Model Employee'' for being legitimately scary.
** Natalie the vampire girl from the episode ''Nosferateens'' has been getting some fans for being a CuteMonsterGirl.
* FanonDiscontinuity: As far as fans are concerned, there is no season two.
* FirstInstallmentWins: In spite of the short run, many would agree that season one is what truly gave the show its identity.
* FriendlyFandoms: Quite a lot of fans of ''WebVideo/DontHugMeImScared'' tend to get along with this show, Due to both works having creepy surreal humor, Amateur puppets, and [[Main/BodyHorror Body Horror]].
* IAmNotShazam: There is no character in this show actually called "Mr. Meaty." "Mr. Meaty" is the name of the fast food restaurant the two main characters work in.
* RomanticPlotTumor: In season two, Josh and Brittany became a couple, even though they had no interest in each other whatsoever prior to that. It just came out of nowhere, considering that Josh was established as a smooth lady killer and Brittany was just someone he and Parker went to for advice.
* NightmareFuel: [[NightmareFuel/MrMeaty See here]].
* SecondSeasonDownfall: Season two stopped using bizarre surreal comedy, the titular restaurant became TheArtifact, several characters got retooled and/or downplayed for no apparent reason and changed the focus to the main duo doing generic high school stuff and even learning life lessons. How do you go from tapeworms to life lessons? This played a large part in why a third season never came to be.
* SignatureScene: Almost everyone who remembers this show remembers the (in)famous Tapeworm from "Moochmaster P".
* SoOkayItsAverage: Some people honestly had ''no'' problem with the show, being an surreal gross-out comedy and could actually embrace it.
* StrangledByTheRedString: Josh & Brittany. He liked to hit on girls with his most prominent targets being Ashley and Goth Girl, the latter he's liked since the original shorts and shared a good few dates and kisses. Meanwhile, Brittany has given him advice when needed, but shown not to think very highly of him. In ''Big Greasy Musical'', Parker says Josh always talks about liking Brittany and Brittany tells the Ashleys that she always thought Josh was a diamond in the rough. SO for the ending half of the series, Josh only had eyes for Brittany whom he begins a relationship with, and in Backseat Driver they both confess to loving each other.
* TheyChangedItNowItSucks: Season two. Basically, the show became a shell of its former self by taking the "Mr. Meaty" out of ''Mr. Meaty'' and becoming more like a generic teen sitcom.
* UncertainAudience: Probably playing a factor in its cancellation, the show manages to look very kiddie and absolutely creepy at the same time. Although it was probably aimed primarily at a tween audience, its ready supply of surreal imagery and humor mixed with more typical fare makes it a unique outlier in the Nicktoon lineup. It probably would've had more success on another Viacom network like Comedy Central or MTV.
