* BigLippedAlligatorMoment: Likely why the film flopped. Yes it's a musical, but ''Just Imagine'' is let down by its tendency to stop for songs and vaudeville routines that have nothing to do with the plot. This might be excusable if there were some nice toe-tapping tunes among them, but none of the songs are that good.
* EthnicScrappy: El Brendel as Single-0. He was reasonably popular when the movie was released, but modern viewers tend to find him dull.
* UnintentionalPeriodPiece: An interesting example. The "nostalgic" scenes from the 1930s were meant to be ironic, as they took place in the then-present time, but now they seem just as old-fashioned as the characters treat them.
* SugarWiki/VisualEffectsOfAwesome: If nothing else, the special effects were awesome for their time.
