* ArcFatigue: "Zero Hour" took three years to complete. Everyone {{lampshad|e hanging}}ed this sometimes.
* BadassDecay: Green Goblin and possibly Lex Luthor.
* BigLippedAlligatorMoment: The Goblin's [[TheBigLebowski Lebowski]]-inspired hallucination.
* CompleteMonster: The Joker, starting with his MoralEventHorizon. [[spoiler: After finding out Harley was secretly helping the Green Goblin, the Joker shoots her. Later, after tricking the heroes into thinking ThePunisher shot him, the Joker leads Harley away as they try to escape. The Joker assures Harley he wasn't going to leave her there to die...and then hits her to the ground, saying ''this'' is a much better spot.]] When he [[spoiler:comes back from the dead in Rorsarch and Deadpool 2, he kills a mook who sold him out in a very painful and thankfully offscreen manner, then shoots Rorsarch.]]
* CrazyAwesome: [[CaptainObvious Deadpool]], but special mention has to be made for trying to use his [[KryptoniteFactor yellow text boxes]] against GreenLantern.
* CrowningMusicOfAwesome: All the deadpool songs, and now [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uyYb_r4cZHE this]]
** The 100th episode brings us [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IyPh8aIdR-4 CONTINUITY!]]
* DudeNotFunny: The movie parodies are generally amusing. But repeatedly spiking Spiderman's milkshakes to get him to come up with said parodies is kind of uncomfortable. Batman naturally [[LampshadeHanging lampshades]] this but then also [[spoiler:spikes Spiderman's milkshake when he suggests that his new movie might make more than ''Film/TheDarkKnightRises'']].
** Also might apply to when the guys drugged Alfred in order to "get an authentic British voice" for a ''Film/HarryPotter'' trailer spoof. Batman naturally wasn't pleased with that.
* EarWorm: Deadpool's songs. "RORSCHACH AND DEADPOOOOOOOOL!"
** Also Iron Man's "Continuity" jingle.
** ''This is a ringtoooooooone, so pick up the phoooooooone.''
** Spidey's song about Disney turning all the Marvel characters LighterAndSofter.
** NOLAN! NOLAN! CHRIS, CHRIS, NOLAN!
* EnsembleDarkHorse: The local version of the Green Goblin is just hilarious to watch.
** Ever since his introduction, Deadpool has become just as popular, maybe even moreso.
** Lars M. Dusseldorf is probably a truer version of this trope, as since their popularity became apparent Deadpool and Gobby have been pushed increasingly to the fore, whereas we can be assured that Lars is not going to take centre stage. But he is very, very awesome.
* FridgeBrilliance: In the ''Rorscach & Deadpool'' Buddy Cop parody, the pair are on the trail of a mysterious crime figure named Joe Palachi, who turns out to be [[spoiler:SelfDemonstrating/TheJoker, and more specifically the humorless 80's one from FrankMiller's ''TheDarkKnightReturns'']]. There are about three layers of brilliance to this, one of which Joe himself admitted to being the reason he picked it:
** Firstly, Palachi, whilst being a sort-of common Italian surname, is also a reference to the opera ''Pagliacci'', and the lead character of the same name (it is sometimes called ''Palachi's Opera''). That was a subtle clue as to Joe Palachi's true identity.
** Secondly, this is a ''Comicbook/{{Watchmen}}'' reference and specifically a Rorschach reference, since in the comic Rorschach tells someone about a joke he heard about Pagliacci.
** And third, the joke is about [[spoiler:how the great clown Pagliacci is utterly depressed and miserable because he has come to view the planet as a CrapsackWorld]], which perfectly reflects the fact that [[spoiler:SelfDemonstrating/TheJoker pretending to be Joe Palachi is the most serious, unfunny Joker ever put to print- turned UpToEleven when it turns out {{Darkseid}} has brainwashed him with the Anti-Life Equation which makes him ''really'' believe this]]:
-->"Man goes to doctor. Says he's depressed. Says life is harsh and cruel. Says he feels all alone in a threatening world. Doctor says, "Treatment is simple. The great clown Pagliacci is in town tonight. Go see him. That should pick you up." Man bursts into tears. Says, "But doctor... I am Pagliacci.""
** Another example is just in the pairing of those two Deadpool is a walking Satire/Parody of comic books antiheroes/anti-villains , whilst Rorschach is a Deconstruction of the AntiHero[=/=]Anti-villains.
* FunnyAneurysmMoment: After Spider-Man wakes up from a dream in which his incarnations from both of his movie franchises feud, he tells Batman that ''The Amazing Spider-Man'' might outgross ''The Dark Knight Rises''. Even though Spidey's movie made enough money for the studio to greenlight a sequel, it still made about ''$200 million less'' than ''Dark Knight Rises''.
* GeniusBonus: Deadpool's TradeSnark during the "Rorschach and Deadpool" song (''Copy and I'll suuuuuuuue'') is made all the funnier when you realise that the backing track (And the melody based off said backing track) is based around "West Precinct Medium", a piece of royalty-free music from Apple's iLife bundle included with most Apple products, which under most circumstances are perfectly legal to use in videos one is making money off of.
* HilariousInHindsight: There was a story arc in ''[[ImAMarvelAndImADC I'm Marvel and I'm DC]]'' about Tony Stark feeling jealous of Batman's new movie taking his spotlight. So, Batman trained Iron Man in being a detective. Guess [[Creator/RobertDowneyJr who]] played Franchise/SherlockHolmes [[Film/SherlockHolmes in the 2009 movie]]?
** So the trailer for the 2011 DC Universe Online premiered and in it [[spoiler: a future Lex Luthor traveled back in time to warn the heroes that the world would be destroyed if they didn't stop him.]] Sound familiar? Hilariously enough, [=RandomGuy=] lampshaded this in a recent [=BlogTV=] chat:
--->'''Random Guy''': I'm not saying they got it from us but...[[Series/TheColbertReport CALLED IT! WHOO!]]
** "Green Lantern vs. The Critics" ended with Deadpool going through the [[Film/{{Highlander}} Reynolds-ing]] as he now has Ryan Reynolds to himself. This becomes much funnier now that Ryan Reynolds has been cast as Conner [=MacLeod=] for the upcoming reboot.
** "Ways To Screw Up The Avengers Movie" had a running gag of butchering the phrase, "Avengers, assemble!" It would later become revealed that the movie actually threw out the phrase altogether.
*** Said gag ends with Cap saying "Avengers Assemble . . . a Human Centipede!" Come AgentsOfShield, well . . .
** The cutesy song about Disney forcing all the Marvels to act LighterAndSofter includes a line about trapping Deadpool in the Disney Vault, which sounds ironic now that Deadpool has made his first speaking TV appearance on [[WesternAnimation/UltimateSpiderMan a cartoon that airs on a Disney-owned channel.]]
* HoYay: Mostly on Deadpool's part towards Ryan Reynolds, and Rorschach. In the latter's case, Deadpool shoots an old man to steal his fedora (and hug it) because it reminds him of Rorshach.
* IKnewIt: For the people who guessed that season three would be called "Zero Hour."
* MemeticMutation: Several things, often from a RunningGag or two.
** "'''DAFOOOOOOOOOE!'''"
** "RORSCHACH AND DEADPOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!"
** "That's NOT a pocket!"
** "Dude. 'Sup." or "Dude. Sucks."
** From their [=BlogTV=] shows - Blaming [[{{Transformers}} Soundwave]] for any Technical Difficulties.
* MoralEventHorizon: The Joker, naturally, crosses this in the final episode of "Happy Hour". [[spoiler: After finding out Harley was secretly helping the Green Goblin, the Joker shoots her. Later, after tricking the heroes into thinking ThePunisher killed him, the Joker leads Harley away as they try to escape. The Joker assures Harley he wasn't going to leave her there to die...and then tosses her aside, saying ''this'' is a much better spot.]]
* SelfishGood: Depending on the tone of the vid Iron Man was in. As he puts it, people kind of ''expect'' him to be a media whore.
* ShallowParody: The movie trailer parodies sometimes fall into this, usually by copying the trailer and adding jokes based on which character replaced whom.
* {{Squick}}: Deadpool apparently started a website dedicated to ''GoldenGirls'' slash fan fiction.
** It's also a ShoutOut to comic book Deadpool's unhealthy love of Bea Arthur.
