* SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic: [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hr-FqY761O8 As per usual for a Nick game show]], although Dan Vitco composed the theme, not Edd Kalehoff.
* ComplacentGamingSyndrome: In "Connect the Dots," teams almost always picked the first four squares in the following order because they were the central boxes: 6, 7, 10, 11. In "Dots," the contestants did the same thing, outlining the same four squares until they were boxed in.
* SugarWiki/MostWonderfulSound: A lot of the sound effects--the "zap" noise for ringing in, the "whheoo" noise for revealing a square, the Power Surge noise, and the siren-esque "solve/victory" effect.
* SceneryPorn: The set was modeled after computer chips and could color change, and had a giant 16-screen display flanked by two strobing light pillars. It was pretty cool looking.
* SpiritualSuccessor: To ''Series/{{Dotto}}'', only minus the rigging.
