* SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic: The soundtrack is quite well done for such an obscure title. All of the character variations to each level theme add a lot of variety to the soundtrack, the boss themes from the UpdatedRerelease are tense and fitting and the theme song is quite rockin' and wouldn't sound out of place to the attract mode of an arcade game.
* HarsherInHindsight: Even if it was part of an homage to ''Film/KingKong1933'', having a biplane crash into the telecommunications tower of the World Quack Center tends to leave a bit of a bad taste nowadays.
* ItsTheSameNowItSucks: One of the primary reasons the [=PS2=] port was heavily criticized by critics because some people felt that it was ''too'' similar to the original Dreamcast version, despite improving the graphics and adding voice actors as well as a new level.
* PolishedPort: The [=PS2=] re-release is regarded as the superior version for polishing up the games rougher points and adding really good voice acting.
* ThatOneBoss: The chameleon bot in the Beaver Dam level, which takes an ''insane'' amount of hits to kill, ''and'' has an electrified arena for you to face with.
* ThatOneLevel:
** The VAB Building in Cape Canardo, as getting every baby in the level will require to follow all the steps necessary to prepare the shuttle for launch.
** Space Station Meer isn't generally difficult except for the section where you must destroy a number of asteroids before they collide with the station. A single asteroid destroys the station and you have to go right back to the start.
