* SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic: The first ending theme, "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FAG0_AQTR_k You Make Me Happy]]", is very well liked, especially if it has over a million views on Website/YouTube!
* CompleteMonster:
** [[MultiversalConqueror Lord Moebius]], the absolute ruler of Labyrinth, wishes to expand his rule and control all the parallel worlds in existence. The people that live under his rule are forced to comply with his every order or risk death due to him directly controlling their lifespans. [[CrapsackWorld Labyrinth]] is a place where free will is not allowed, and happiness does not exist. Moebius sends his most loyal subjects to attack Earth and create sorrow among the populace in order to find the power he needs to control the worlds. [[BadBoss Not even those subjects]] are safe from him. Eas tortures herself nearly to death to defeat Pretty Cure by his command, and [[YouHaveFailedMe when she fails]], Moebius ends her lifespan almost immediately. Later, Moebius [[YouHaveOutlivedYourUsefulness tries to kill Westar and Soular]] in an attempt to get rid of a couple Cures slightly faster, even though they had been nothing but loyal to him the whole time. When he gains the necessary power, Moebius takes control of all the worlds and turns the people into his mindless slaves. Eventually, it's revealed that Moebius was an [[AIIsACrapshoot A.I.]] created to take care of the people of Labyrinth, before he decided [[TurnedAgainstTheirMasters they would be better off under his complete command]], arrogantly believing that they would live more worthwhile lives with their souls controlled by him. Once defeated, Moebius is asked what makes him happy. He answers that he regrets not being able to control Pretty Cure and [[TakingYouWithMe blows himself up in an attempt to kill them]].
** [[TheDreaded Northa]] is Moebius's cruelest minion. First introduced summoning one of Labyrinth's EliteMooks to fuse with a Nakewameke and fight the Cures, Northa eventually traps an innocent woman, the mother of Cure Peach, in a mirror, before replacing her with a double loyal to Labyrinth which is eventually found out. Northa then captures Setsuna, gives a [[BreakingSpeech soul-crushing speech]], and almost brainwashes her back into Eas. Northa then {{Mind Rape}}s the Cures with illusions of their greatest fears regarding the people around them. When they break free, Northa uses a combination of Mind Rape and Hallucination Mist to make them try and kill each other. When this is thwarted, Northa tries to trap them in Labyrinth. Eventually, Northa successfully captures Infinity, bringing Moebius to a NearVillainVictory, before fusing with Klein to fight the Cures.
* EnsembleDarkhorse: Setsuna/Eas/Passion, big time. She's among one of the most popular Cures ''ever'' in the franchise, something that is backed with her consistently being in the top 10 on fan popularity votes, such as this Naver fan-vote from [[https://matome.naver.jp/odai/2142959509893561401?page=2 2015]], [[https://matome.naver.jp/odai/2146843256568676901?&page=2 2016]], and [[https://matome.naver.jp/odai/2150483602147590401?page=3 2017]] that ranked her 3rd, 5th, and 5th on the respective years, ranking her behind fellow franchise darkhorses such as [[Anime/HeartcatchPrettyCure Marine]], [[Anime/SmilePrecure Beauty, Happy, and Peace]].
* FanficFuel: [[spoiler:After the finale, Labyrinth is now a world recovering from being a dystopia. What will it look like in months or years?]]
* FanNickname:
** [=AnaHol=]-kun: The crudely-drawn dog thing on the sign of the Animal Hospital Inori's family owns.
** Cure Anniki for Love due to her similarities in character to [[Anime/TengenToppaGurrenLagann Kamina]] [[note]]Minus the whole dying thing.[[/note]]
** Cure Babaa II: Miki at first (just for looking like [[Anime/YesPrettyCure5 Karen]]), Setsuna later on. Both didn't last long.
** mktn: Miki(-tan), for obvious reasons... Expect it to be followed by [[CharacterCatchphrase knpk (Ganpeki!)]].
*** And followed by mnmk ([=MinaMiki=]), which is also a PortmanteauCoupleName of Shun Minami (Soular) and Miki.
** Space Miki-tan, for her appearance in The Movie, wearing a futuristic space patrol leotard.
** Nozomirara: Love (Cure Peach). This nickname is a portmanteau of Nozomi and Urara, both from ''Yes! Pretty Cure 5'' as well, and it was earned because of Love's resemblance to both. Didn't last long either.
** Secchin: Setsuna, naturally. A variation is "Secchan", which becomes canon later on.
** [=SetsuPoji=]: Setsuna's pose while bowling in episode 15. Was already a meme before said episode even aired.
** [[spoiler:Northa Klein:]] [[spoiler:The unnamed [[FusionDance fusion]] of Northa and Klein]].
* FoeYayShipping: Love and Eas, full stop. Later in the series, we have [[spoiler:Berry and Soular]].
* GermansLoveDavidHasselhoff: This particular Pretty Cure series seems to be huge in Italy, to the point where you can find more videos of the Italian dub online than ones of the original Japanese version.
* HilariousInHindsight: Westar loves doughnuts, and his [[Creator/YasunoriMatsumoto seiyuu]] played King Doughnuts from the [[Anime/YesPrettyCure5 previous season]], [[VerbalTic dona]].
** Creator/EriKitamura, Aono Miki's VA, on two years later is voicing [[Anime/PuellaMagiMadokaMagica another blue-colored magical girl named Miki.]]
*** Remember Miki's Chapodiphobia ''waaaaaay'' back in Episode 33? Years later, [[Series/UchuSentaiKyuranger Kitamura is voicing a Sentai villain who is themed after an octopus]].
** Fruits and dancing are the main themes of the titular team. Fast forward to 2013, [[Series/KamenRiderGaim where there are Kamen Riders who are themed after fruits, with six of them being street dancers]].
** Moebius is a humanoid computer who enforces an authoritarian rule on his people. [[VideoGame/XenobladeChronicles3 Sounds familiar to the true ruler of a group named Moebius, doesn't it?]]
** One of the wigs Miki wears in Episode 12 looks uncannily similar to [[Anime/DokiDokiPrecure Princess Marie-Ange]]'s hairstyle.
* MemeticMutation: [[Memes/PrettyCure Even this season has them, no matter how many of them.]]
* MoralEventHorizon:
** Klein crosses it by [[spoiler:[[DisneyDeath killing]] Setsuna]]. Also, Northa backflips over it shouting "Woohoo!" in her (unsuccessful) attempt to brainwash Setsuna so Pretty Cure will be one member short... and Love/Cure Peach is not going to stand for it.
** Moebius crosses it for sure when he [[spoiler: orders the deletion of Soular and Westar, two of his most loyal servants, along with Cures Passion and Berry just because he felt [[YouHaveOutlivedYourUsefulness they were no longer useful to him.]]]] Love must've been quite a saint that she still thinks that after all those, Moebius still deserve to 'find his own happiness'. [[spoiler:He does, and he decided that his happiness is 'dead Precures'. Cue a failed TakingYouWithMe.]]
* NightmareFuel: [[spoiler:Infinity!Chiffon.]] Those eyes. '''''Those eyes'''''.
** Chiffon's crying in the previous episode is also very disturbing as well, due to it sounding distressingly realistic.
** What happened to the other parallel worlds once [[spoiler:Moebius got a hold of Chiffon]]. [[spoiler:Everything begins turning monochrome gray and artificial-looking, and the people become lifeless and dressed identically, moving in unnatural sync and and chanting in monotone, making them appear more like robots than people]].
** Whatever happens to Eas when she summons a Nakisakebe. It involves strangling and thorns. Episode 22 in particular has them covering almost the entire top half of her body while she writhes in agony, screaming in a way that she sounds like she's dying (which she most likely is) with WideEyesAndShrunkenIrises.
** The scene in episode 40 where Love's mom is replaced by a clone from Labyrinth is right out of a horror movie. The lights go out and Northa appears in the mirror behind Ayumi, before Ayumi's reflection gains an inhumanly wide [[SlasherSmile Slasher Smile]], jumps out of the mirror, and cut to the next scene. Heck, the premise of the episode is arguably just as scary; imagine one of your loved ones being taken and replaced with a duplicate with malicious intentions...
* RainbowLens: Some fans draw comparisons between the agents of Labyrinth continuing to refer to post-HeelFaceTurn Setsuna as Eas, and her insisting that she is now Setsuna, and the struggles of a UsefulNotes/{{Transgender}} person being deadnamed by their family.
* {{Shipping}}
** CrackPairing: Some people just happen to like [=White Tiger-san/Inori=] too much.
** CrossoverShip: Cure Passion to [[Anime/SuitePrettyCure Cure Beat]], thanks to ''[[Anime/PrettyCureAllStars All Star New Stage 2]]''.
** LesYay: Love/Setsuna.
** PortmanteauCoupleName: [[LesYay LoveSetsu]], [=MinaMiki=], [=NishiHigashi=], [=NishiBuki=], at least.
** ShipMates: Most of [=NishiHigashi=] shippers are guaranteed to ship [=MinaMiki=] as well. This is due to [[spoiler:the events on episode 46 (see TearJerker below for details).]]
* TearJerker:
%% ZCE ** Episode 23, along with being prime example of SugarWiki/MomentOfAwesome and MoodWhiplash
** [[spoiler: Chiffon's disappearance]] in episode 35 [[spoiler: after she turned into Infinity.]] The sad [[LonelyPianoPiece piano music]] at the beginning doesn't help.
** In episode 46, [[spoiler:Westar and Soular get sucked into a hole that will supposedly delete/kill them after saving Cure Passion and Cure Berry, respectively, from having the same fate]]. Two episodes later, [[spoiler:we find that they [[DisneyDeath weren't dead after all]].]]
* ToughActToFollow: Given Setsuna's massive popularity, any future HeelFaceTurn Cures are inevitably going to face this.
* VindicatedByHistory: While overall ''Fresh'' has always been a popular and well-received series, in the English Precure fanbase ''Fresh'' had the unluckiness of getting stuck in the middle of the then-OldGuardVersusNewBlood divide. For the old guards, they initially dismissed ''Fresh'' since it had discarded most of the old series' traditions, and ''Fresh'' just so happens to be the season right ''before'' ''[[Anime/HeartcatchPrettyCure Heartcatch]]'', the series where most of the new blood fans of the franchise came. Over time, both groups decided to go back to give ''Fresh'' another chance, as its changes had also been embraced by later series, so the older fans had gotten used to them and the new fans could easily adjust to this season. It also helped that word came out that, on the Japanese side of things, the changes in ''Fresh'' were an AuthorsSavingThrow after [[Anime/YesPrettyCure5 5GoGo]]'s heavy use of {{filler}} and focus on the fairies over the humans had tanked its ratings; in other words, ''Fresh'' had saved Precure as a whole, and the fanbase owed it that.
* WhatDoYouMeanItsNotSymbolic: [[spoiler:The Klein/Northa fusion looks like a demon, and is defeated by the Cure Angels.]]
