* AlternativeCharacterInterpretation: Did anything with Meg and the Griffin family's music career actually happen? Was it all just a sketch for ''Series/SaturdayNightLive''? Or was it something that happened and the Griffin family decided to cope with it by turning it into a sketch for ''Saturday Night Live''?
* BestKnownForTheFanservice: The magazine covers and photoshoots of the Griffin family's music career focuses on Meg looking hot for the camera. [[invoked]]
* HarsherInHindsight:
** At one point in the episode, Stewie accepts a bet to run naked through the mall yelling, "Help! I’ve escaped from Creator/KevinSpacey's basement!" It's a little awkward now after Spacey was accused by multiple men of unwanted sexual advances, with the first accuser, Creator/AnthonyRapp, claiming to have been only 14 years old at the time. What's worse is that the original line was going to be Stewie screaming that he escaped Creator/RomanPolanski's basement, and, much like Kevin Spacey, Polanski's career was also ruined by a sex scandal involving a minor.
** Peter's reaction upon seeing the made-over Meg--thinking she was another daughter of his from an implied affair two decades earlier--becomes this when we, and Lois, learn that [[Recap/FamilyGuyS15E20AHouseFullOfPeters Peter ''does'' have another teenage daughter--scores of them, in fact, and sons--from donating sperm years before]].
** Dr. Diddy, a homage to [[Music/SeanCombs P. Diddy]], decides to focus the family band’s image on sexualizing Meg, who’s still a teenager. Cut to 2023, where Diddy in real life is hit with numerous allegations, one of which is from 17-year old girl accusing him of gang rape.
