* {{Adorkable}}: Ace is just so awkward and insecure around other people that his pitifulness becomes endearing.
* AlternativeCharacterInterpretation: Was the Ninaganger an incompetent monster? Or it was a result of channeling Nina's mentality?
* AwesomeEgo: Layla. It sometimes feels like half her dialogue consists of her boasting about how awesome she is. No one's complaining, though.
* BadassDecay: Queen Quintessa is initially a ''huge threat'', [[spoiler: yet Nina and Tia invade her subconscious right under her nose, and she's assimilated back into Layla's mind with little fanfare.]]
* BaseBreakingCharacter: Really, you won't find many characters who haven't alienated some fans, at some point.
** Layla's fans like her due to her JerkWithAHeartOfGold nature and her capability for true acts of kindness. Her detractors just find her a straight up {{Jerkass}} and DesignatedHero.
** Nina is also extremely polarizing. She's either loved for her naivety and willingness to openly show affection (in contrast to Layla's {{Tsundere}} personality), or she's loathed for how childish and annoying she is. Made moreso, since it was usually either her sister or Ace, who suffer from her actions.
** Tiffany is either a cute PluckyGirl whose epic fails to kill a monster are always good for a laugh, or a one-note side character who is even more annoying than Nina.
** Ace is rather divisive. While some readers see him as a nice guy who has to put with Nina's antics and empathize with his constant state of misery and self-loathing, others find him to be too normal compared to his wacky friends and detest him for his conspicuous lack of a backbone.
** Some fans love Tia's cute design and her ability to stir up drama and tensions in Volume 3, while others believe that she is a completely unenjoyable character and consider her a completely unnecessary addition to the comic.
** Blair is quite possibly the most controversial character of the series. His unique take as a hammy PantyThief split the fandom over those who found it hilarious and those who thought he was the most annoying gimmick in the series and just wanted him gone. Then there's the fact he's a DirtyOldMan in the body of a doll who likes harrassing girls, which put a lot of people off.
* EnsembleDarkhorse:
** The Hellrune Coven were added to the list of characters that got a pinup if you ordered the print edition of Vol.0, and became popular enough to be given their own SpinOff series: ''Webcomic/MagickChicks''.
** Tiffany's fans loved her for being a LargeHam and [[{{Cloudcuckoolander}} a ditz]], and because of what [[ShippingGoggles they perceived as an attraction]] between her and Layla. So she was given a bigger role in ''Magick Chicks'', where she became a main character.
** Cess & Laura have gained a fanbase of their own, enough that some were happy when they [[HeelFaceTurn finally turned over a new leaf]] and [[https://pixietrixcomix.com/eerie-cuties/2013-10-30 became Nina's friends]].
* EpilepticTrees: Little is known about the principal at Charybdis, but the inclusion of dolls, like the one [[https://pixietrixcomix.com/magick-chicks/on-my-desk in the Artemis principal's office]] and the ones the CH principal uses [[https://pixietrixcomix.com/magick-chicks/we-are-of-two-minds-chapter-10 to contact the Hellrunes]], has lead some to speculate that she may be a doll, herself.
* FanNickname: A large portion of the fandom insists on using the name [[spoiler:"Grace" for Ace]] since he became a girl, even though he's ''never'' been called that in strip, or even been addressed with female pronouns.
* {{Fanon}}: Blair's behavior in these [[http://www.eeriecuties.com/strips-ec/kitty two]] [[http://www.eeriecuties.com/strips-ec/best_friend strips]] lead to years of speculation that Nina was [[http://www.pixietrixcomix.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=11877 Queen Lamia's reincarnation.]] It was [[{{Jossed}} finally put to rest]] when it was revealed that he'd been wrong. [[spoiler: [[http://www.eeriecuties.com/strips-ec/all_the_signs_pointed_to_nina It was Layla.]]]]
* FanPreferredCouple: Even though Layla is canonically straight, fans were still hoping she'd hook up with either Brooke, or Tiffany. But after Tiff [[https://pixietrixcomix.com/magick-chicks/when-there-are-more-boys-around officially said it wasn't happening]], the fans hoped there was still a chance of Layla pairing up with Brooke. [[spoiler: Even if it meant [[SplitPersonalityMerge Layla being taken over by Queen Lamia's persona]] and [[http://www.eeriecuties.com/strips-ec/a_close_circle enthralling Brooke to make it happen]].]]
%%* HilariousInHindsight: The guest comics have an interesting way of being almost prophetic:
%%** Melissa [[http://www.eeriecuties.com/strips-ec/your_wish_is_granted!_(guest_strip) moves Chloe's breasts]] [[http://www.eeriecuties.com/strips-ec/finders_keepers to Brooke]].

* HoYay: There's only been two instances:
** The first was when Ace was asked to deliver a note to Kade and simply told him to read it, but forgot to mention it was from Nina; so Kade assumed it was from him.
---> '''Kade: (to Ace)''' [[http://www.eeriecuties.com/strips-ec/i_am_too_bashful! "Um... thanks dude. I think your butt is cutie-wootie-patootie too."]]
** Dio's ongoing relationship with [[spoiler: [[WebComic/MagickChicks Ash]]]] came about as a result of [[CareBearStare a blast]] [[http://www.eeriecuties.com/strips-ec/i_am_not_saying_that from Mel's wand.]] Which caused some minor contention among the fans, since both characters [[http://www.eeriecuties.com/strips-ec/outstanding_job had been heterosexual]], until that moment, and the effect has yet to be reversed.
** Female example: Since some of the characters are bi/bi-curious, there's been a decent amount of [[GirlOnGirlIsHot girl-on-girl]] {{fanservice}}.
*** Brooke secretly nurses a one-sided crush on Layla and was given a PracticeKiss by her, after asking Layla to show her how, in return for giving Layla some of her blood. Though now that Layla's [[PastLifeMemories regained her memories]] as [[spoiler: Queen Quintessa]], she's [[spoiler: shown up in Ace's dream, along with a past incarnation of Brooke, and [[http://www.eeriecuties.com/strips-ec/need_your_love_to_survive says she belongs to her]]]].
*** Maria wound up giving the girls TooMuchInformation, when she happily reminisced about some of the things she used to do [[http://www.eeriecuties.com/strips-ec/going_through_a_phase with Chloe's mother]].
*** Brooke also had a brief moment with girl-Ace, where [[http://www.eeriecuties.com/strips-ec/worth_a_shot she gave him a kiss]] to see if maybe it'd change him back into a boy.
** There was also a subtle ContinuityNod when Tiffany [[http://www.eeriecuties.com/strips-ec/chapter_2_-_store-bought touched the area of her neck]] where Layla had bitten her, while spying on her at the mall. Though, despite earlier implications, Tiffany [[http://www.eeriecuties.com/strips-ec/i_need_a_date doesn't think of her "that way"]].
* HollywoodHomely: Ace is often described as ugly and is frequently insulted over his "furry hands", despite being drawn as attractive as any other character.
* {{Moe}}: Supposedly, Chloe's entire family consists of more traditional [[HotAsHell Sexy Devil]]-types (though we've yet to see them), and she feels ashamed that she can't live up to traditional Succubi standards. Of course, as it is [[LampshadeHanging pointed out]], she is appealing directly to a much...[[{{Kawaiiko}} different aesthetic]]. Let us count the ways: she's {{c|uteClumsyGirl}}lumsy, wears glasses, manages to [[MaleGaze attract male attention]] without really meaning or wanting to, and, of course, she has [[BuxomBeautyStandard ridiculously large breasts]].
* NeverLiveItDown:
** Nina stealing Layla's body and offering to let Blair feel her up, before going on a date with Kade - [[DisproportionateRetribution simply because Layla had poked fun at her]].
** Dio and Kade lying to Ace about [[SplitPersonalityTakeover his girl-persona, Acina]] taking over his body during full moons, just so they can continue having sex with her. Seen in [[http://www.pixietrixcomix.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=577890#p577890 the]] [[http://www.pixietrixcomix.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=577905#p577905 following]] [[http://www.pixietrixcomix.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=577948#p577948 posts]] and the rest of the thread.
%%* NightmareFuel: The fate of Skittles, Brooke's old mouse. [[http://www.eeriecuties.com/strips-ec/double_pepperoni_with_sausage It must]] [[http://www.eeriecuties.com/strips-ec/...hypnotic%21 be seen]] [[http://www.eeriecuties.com/strips-ec/one_true_nature to be believed.]]
%%** InUniverse too, as most of the girls vote on Brooke sleeping in a different room after hearing the story.
* TheScrappy:
** Blair. A large number of fans have a serious dislike for him, some even going so far as to avoid reading chapters in which he plays a prominent role, or even dropping the series because of his existence. The reason generally stems from the fact he's a DirtyOldMan and a PantyThief. Despite his genuine concern for Layla and Nina, he mostly groped and harrassed every female in sight. So the readers and the cast themselves were glad to finally be rid of him when when Tia took him away in the final chapter.
** [[FalseFriend Kade and Dio]] both became universally despised by the readers, due to their actions in the aforementioned story (note under NeverLiveItDown), leaving Ace and [[spoiler: Ash]] as the only legitimately ''[[NiceGuy nice]]'' guys in the comic.
* TooGoodToLast: The news that both ''Eerie Cuties'' and ''Webcomic/MagickChicks'' would soon be going on indefinite hiatus was met with [[http://www.pixietrixcomix.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=535403#p535403 much]] [[http://www.pixietrixcomix.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=535439#p535439 disappointment]] [[http://www.pixietrixcomix.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=535473#p535473 by its readership.]]
