* SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic:
** Celestia's and the Remedy themes stand out, "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SrEHyYlJjVA Intersect Thunderbolt]]" and "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QKT8SPh-amQ The Fate of...]]" for Celestia and "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H3SwtCjdHyM Providence]]" for Remedy, bonus points for Remedy's theme being a remix of Exceed 2nd''s [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=834nYnGLPKM&feature=search Shock!!]]
** The soundtrack for ''Vampire REX'' was done by [[Music/TouhouFanMusic Shibayan Records]], while the soundtrack for ''Jade Penetrate'' was done by Saitama Saisyu Heiki, which accounts for the drastic differences in the styles between the two soundtracks. Both of them are still awesome in their own ways.
** [[https://youtu.be/k9B7ADtvsMU Modulator]], the track for Seele Clan in the first game is pretty cool one, especially after the minute of techno beats.
* SugarWiki/FunnyMoments: In Miyabi’s route for ''Gun Bullet Children'', the selected heroine lampshades over why they can not just fight together. Sowel explains it is for avoid friendly fire and colliding with each other like Chinatsu. The overly serious Chinatsu then say she does not mind as [[ComicallyMissingThePoint she likes throwing as many bullets in the same direction as she can]].
* SpiritualSuccessor: ''[=eXceed=] 2nd'' may as well be ''VideoGame/{{Ikaruga}} 2''.
* SurprisinglyImprovedSequel: Generally, people didn't think much of ''Gun Bullet Children'' when it was released but ''Vampire'' and ''Jade Penetrate'' were much better received.
* TearJerker: [[spoiler:Brunhilde’s sudden death and Siegrune’s final confrontation after absorbing her]] in the second game. Even their final boss theme, [[https://youtu.be/kJnZLqMTJh4 CONQUEST]], has a very solemn vibe to it as [[spoiler:they]] have now descended to total madness.
