** The original is great, but somehow the cover by Eizo Sakamoto of JamProject and Animetal fame manages to be ''even catchier''.
* FridgeLogic: Kei and Yuri are supposedly one of the 3WA's most successful teams, yet they destroy damn near anything they come in close proximity to.
** To quote: "Explosions, infernos, a few thousand casualties here and there... and, incidentally, a solution to every case."
* GatewaySeries: In the early '90s, it was one of the first anime to be extensively {{fansub}}bed in English (on VHS tapes), and the first to have {{fanfic}} written about it on the Internet.
* [[MagnificentBastard Magnificent Bitch]], [[ManipulativeBastard Manipulative Bitch]]: Shasti; in "Dangerous Acquaintances" she manipulates three distinct groups through complex capers, each serving as the stepping stone for her true goals.
* SoCoolItsAwesome: The series in general, being the epitome of classic GirlsWithGuns action, but a few individual stories get this in particular.
** An episode of the TV series dealing with a bigoted father who doesn't accept his son's romantic relationship with a male-to-female transsexual, which is met with scoffs of "how close-minded can you get" from Kei and Yuri and the mention that one in ten people get sex changes in the future. Strong levels of ValuesResonance mean lots of people like this episode.
** Two episodes of the OVA: One where Yuri becomes infatuated with her target in a counterfeiting case, and another where the duo have to track down a robotic superweapon in the middle of Elenore City's Halloween celebrations.
** TheMovie, ''Dirty Pair: Project EDEN'', often considered the franchise's best outing.
* TheyChangedItNowItSucks: some fans of the original anime are not too keen on ''Flash''.
