During the second half, Bobby, Petrie and the Academy would become the film's ''actual'' antagonists as they try to "fix" Amy, and separate her from Lucy. Being an unsubtle CureYourGays analogy, on top of Bobby's skeevy DoggedNiceGuy attitude, these things may hit closer to home for an LGBT audience, especially young women.

Lucy and Amy stage the latter's kidnapping to pursue an affair. After being caught in the act, and being easily talked out of a half-hearted plan to destroy Australia, Lucy decides to [[HeelFaceTurn get her act together]], publicly giving up her life of crime and returning everything she has stolen for Amy. Reconciling with Amy during the Endgame, the two escape arrest from the D.E.B.S. Academy, with Lucy effortlessly besting Amy's jealous ex in the process.
* OneSceneWonder: Creator/MichaelClarkeDuncan as one of the D.E.B.S. higher-ups who (in so many words) tells Amy what she needs to hear. He also serves as MrExposition.
