* CrossesTheLineTwice:
** The man turning into a werewolf in ''The Return of the Curse...''? Horrifying. Nanny being oblivious to his transformation and chiding him for making a fuss over not liking tea? Hilarious!
** Duckula offhandedly mentioning that Nanny had [[LethallyStupid accidentally killed several of the hired help with ballistic silverware]], only for Nanny to [[ComedicSociopathy dismiss it with "they were only part-time"]].
* GermansLoveDavidHasselhoff: This otherwise obscure (outside of Britain at least) cartoon was (and remains) very popular in Mexico and Latin America in general, not just thanks to [[SugarWiki/SuperlativeDubbing a very good Spanish dub work]], but for its use of {{Woolseyism}} in said region due to the heavy use of British humor in the series. In fact, this was especially innovative in that it was practically the TropeMaker of said trope in Latin American Spanish dubbing, never done before, making the show one of the greatest 90’s cartoons there.
* MorePopularSpinOff: ''Count Duckula'' is more popular and better known internationally than its parent show ''WesternAnimation/DangerMouse'' and has a more prominent influence in pop culture. In fact, a lot of people probably don't know that it is even a spin-off of an obscure 80s cartoon if they don't read Website/{{Wikipedia}}. It helps that the character has nearly nothing to do with his ''Danger Mouse'' counterpart other than name and somewhat similar look, and that it never had the RequiredSpinoffCrossover.
* NightmareFuel:
** The opening and ending theme have scared quite a bit of children. [[CreepyAwesome Still kicks ass though]].
** The scene in ''The Return of the Curse...'' where a werewolf comes to the castle seeking shelter from the full moon, [[NiceJobBreakingItHero but is accidentally exposed to it anyway thanks to Nanny's interference]] and transforms is played disturbingly straight, with the terror and pain the man (bird) experiences not being PlayedForLaughs at all. For younger viewers especially it's a very unsettling moment in an otherwise [[MoodWhiplash light-hearted comedy show.]] Nanny's obliviousness to the man's predicament somewhat mitigates this though.
** Also from ''The Return of the Curse...'', Igor accidentally resurrects a FrankensteinsMonster that only says "Daddy?" in a eerie tone. He is [[EvenEvilHasStandards pretty shocked about it himself]].
--->'''Igor''': [[OhCrap Ohhhh, dear.]] [[MyGodWhatHaveIDone I wonder if I have done the right thing?]]
* TheProblemWithLicensedGames: Two games were released for the ZX Spectrum and Amstrad CPC by Alternative Software. The second of them is well-known for its negative reception, with the Spectrum version being voted the worst game on the platform in the final issue of ''Your Sinclair''.
