* SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic:
** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UOwKmHnWpEk The intro song.]] An epic, orchestra-like opening with a few brief switches to a an equally great rocking guitar. The lyrics are also greatly catchy and are sure to get fans pumped up with their chants of ''Bioman''.
** The memorable ending theme [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p7OMbU3Ofqc "Bionic Soldier"]] features a catchy, happy song and comes with a similarly memorable end credits to boot, showcasing the Biomen [[{{Bathos}} cleaning up]] their Humongous Mecha.[[note]]This is quite the feat [[FridgeLogic considering]] all the damage and dirt it gets from being regularly used in battle![[/note]]
** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SEi-nj8P0AM "Shirogane no Karibito"]] (The Silver Hunter) is Bio Hunter Silva's theme music. It has the same feel as "The Temple of Fiends" theme in the first VideoGame/FinalFantasy. It conveys finality and menace, thus framing Silva as a serious foe.
* CommonKnowledge: Magne Warrior being the actual first SixthRanger. While his episodes did play with the trope, he doesn't truly fit the billing due to using a different power source than the Biomen (the Magne meteorites as opposed to the Bio Particles) and never actually joins the team with his transformed state.
* EnsembleDarkhorse: Bio Hunter Silva. Often praised as one of the most badass Sentai villain ever despite his short screentime, most probably by [[KnightOfCerebus being a genuine threat to the Bioman instilling that they could die by his hands (like Mika did)]]. His reappearance in the ''Film/KamenRiderXSuperSentaiSuperheroTaisen'' was met with much praise.
* GermansLoveDavidHasselhoff:
** It has a cult following in the Philippines since they made their own English dub of it (which had the characters' names anglicized) long before ''Series/MightyMorphinPowerRangers''. Giving rise to homages like ''[[https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0428714/ Kabayo Kids]]'' (kabayo meaning horse, and bayo is pronounced like bio) and ''[[http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0164409/ Biokids]]''.
** And how about the cult following they have in France? It got to a point that, when ''[[Series/HikariSentaiMaskman Maskman]]'' and ''[[Series/ChoujuuSentaiLiveman Liveman]]'' were ported there, they were respectively renamed ''Bioman 2'' and ''Bioman 3''. No wonder the idea of ''WebVideo/FranceFive'' worked out so well.
* HarsherInHindsight: The team has a hard time convincing Mika to join them. She finally accepts, only to be killed eight episodes later. As it turns out, the team would have been better off leaving Mika alone and looking for somebody else in the first place. The first mecha battle even has Ryuta ask Mika "You don't want to die young, do you?"
* HilariousInHindsight:
** The Filipino English dub named Hikaru Kimberly, the same name as [[Series/MightyMorphinPowerRangers the first Pink Power Ranger]] (both for the unaired ''Bioman'' Pilot and for the aired ''Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers'' version).
** Ryƫta was named Franky, the same name his immediate blue predecessor [[Series/KagakuSentaiDynaman Yousuke had in the parody dub of ''Dynaman'']].
** Shingo shares the same name as Shingo Tsukino, the little brother of the titular Franchise/SailorMoon. The funny part though is that they also share the same name in their respective English dubs (The original dub in the case of ''Sailor Moon''), Sammy.
** The title of an upcoming 2024 film starring [[Creator/DwayneJohnson The Rock]] is ''[[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_One_(film) Red One]]''.
* LesYay: To some out there, the [[CoolBigSis protective big sister Mika]] and the [[TheIngenue ingenue Hikaru]]. [[TomboyAndGirlyGirl Jun and Hikaru]] have some moments too.
* ItWasHisSled: Mika dies in episode 10 and gets replaced by Jun.
* MagnificentBastard: [[KillerRobot Bio Hunter Silva]] is a Bio Particle exterminator created by the Anti-Bio Union and by far the toughest opponent the Biomen faced. Coming to Earth after causing the destruction of Bio Star, Silva easily outmatches the Biomen while outmaneuvering the [[StandardEvilOrganizationSquad Neo Empire Gear]]'s attempts to capture him. When the Gear steal his Balzion mecha and Farrah pilots it against the Biomen, Silva remotely holds it in place, allowing the Biomen to kill Farrah, before using a clone of [[OverlordJr Prince]] to break into Neograd and kill [[TheDragon Mason]]. Silva then enters Balzion and pilots it to eliminate the Biomen and the last of the Bio Particles. Even when Balzion is destroyed, Silva attempts to fight the Biomen on his own, [[TheDeterminator still trying to complete his mission in his final moments]].
* MoralEventHorizon: Dr. Man does this when [[spoiler:he brainwashes Mason, Farah, and Monster, so that he can [[LaserGuidedAmnesia erase their memories]] of finding out his true identity as a former human]].
* {{Narm}}: Bio Big Arrow enlarges Jun's Yellow Arrow for one big finisher! What was shot was... a tiny yellow beam. (it's still pretty effective, but visually, it just left so much that can be done)
* OlderThanTheyThink: While Sentai fans will either point to [[Series/HikariSentaiMaskman X1 Mask]] or [[Series/KyoryuSentaiZyuranger DragonRanger]] as the first SixthRanger, Magne Warrior from this series was the first time the conflict was played with, although he ultimately ends up being a subversion who never actually joins the team.
* ParodyDisplacement: Mention ''Bioman'' in France, and chances are high the show's parody by Creator/LesInconnus (when it was broadcast in the ''Series/ClubDorothee'' show in the early [[TheNineties '90s]]) will be brought up first in the conversation.
