* CrackShip:
** Stephanie Brown and Conner Kent's corpses.
** Jervis Tetch and his hats.
* FunnyMoment:
** Jervis Tetch and his issues with ''Men Without Hats''.
** How to stop ''ComicBook/WorldWarHulk''. "Why don't you just put the whole world in a bottle, Hulk?"
* MisBlamed: One strip blames the cancellation of Supergirl's fourth book on "some old-school fans who hated Linda". In reality, DC pulled the plug on the book due to low sales: it was always a low seller, and sales only picked up [[ComicBook/ManyHappyReturns when the original Kara Zor-El made an appearance]]. Earth Angel Linda was put on a bus because Supergirl's backstory and identity had become too convoluted, not because Dan Didio is an old-school fan (he is not).
* OlderThanTheyThink: When Supergirl gets a creative team who depicts her properly, Cass claims DC is trying to "make Kara more like Linda without actually being Linda". However, Linda Danvers (Earth Angel) was per Word Of God ''specifically'' created to be Linda Danvers (Kara Zor-El) without being actually the original Linda.
* OldShame: Espanolbot has long admitted that even though some strips hold up, he would like redoing a lot of them.
* RonTheDeathEater: Every Pre-Crisis character is a victim of this: their good traits are diminished or ignored, their flaws are aggrandized, and they're portrayed as brainless, sociopathic jerkasses. ComicBook/{{Supergirl}}, [[Franchise/GreenLantern Hal Jordan]]... neither is safe. On the other hand, Post-Crisis characters are portrated as genuine heroes incapable of doing wrong even when they are being rude or obnoxious.
* TheWoobie:
** Donna Troy, due to all the retcons messing with her head. She barely knows who she is.
** Nightwing, who's life is an endless display of misery and degradation. Until he meets Irina, at least.
