* AccidentalAesop: A great number of episodes can be seen as a list of "don'ts" to keep in mind when playing ''Battlefield'', mainly from what the Noob does that puts his team at a disadvantage.
* AlternativeCharacterInterpretation:
** The friends themselves. Are they [[TrueCompanions actually friends]] outside of the game or are they just people who team up in games and don't interact with each other outside of ''Battlefield''?
** The Engineer has a wife and a daughter, and in "Team Bagging", he explains his laggy connection is because of his internet being "taken up by the stupid bitches" in his house. Was Engineer simply frustrated, or is there a [[AwfulWeddedLife darker]] [[DysfunctionalFamily meaning]]? The fact he said bitches in ''plural'' would also have him '''''insulting his own daughter'''''. The fact that he flirts with the female player in "Girl Gamer" despite being married brings up more interpretation to the table.
** Is the Noob just ''[[GiftedlyBad that bad]]'' at ''Battlefield'' and [[InsufferableImbecile gets frustrated with his teammates due to his false beliefs about the game]]? Or is he [[TheDitz genuinely stupid]] and [[IRejectYourReality refuses to think of anything other than his way]]?
* CrazyIsCool: Colonel. He can play both ''Battlefield 4'' and ''Hardline'' '''at the same time''', destroy helicopters with only a knife, can bring his teammates back from the dead out of the map bounds, and kill both the Megalodon shark and the enemy commander (both are unkillable in-game). If there's something a player can't do in ''Battlefield'', Colonel ''can'' and '''''will''''' do it anyway and succeed.
* HarsherInHindsight: The teaser for the revival in time for ''VideoGame/Battlefield2042'', complete with Noob being excited for the wingsuits, is rather awkward now that the game has been released. Put simply, its launch [[ObviousBeta has gone]] '''[[ObviousBeta horribly wrong]]'''. What makes this even more awkward is the Battlefield [=YouTube=] channel comment on it, now that the series has been open on the game's massive flaws.
--> "Welcome back friends"
* HilariousInHindsight: The first thing the Noob says in "Teamspeak" is about how horses would be cool in ''Battlefield''. Come 2016, [[VideoGame/Battlefield1 he and his Teamspeak friends would get their wish]].
** “[=YouTube=] Gamer” is an {{Anvilicious}} TakeThat against people who watch other people play video games and not watching “people that take like weeks to create something awesome like a piece of [animated] content,” and they later lampooned Twitch TV in “Livestreaming.” Fast forward a few years and the [=BFFs=] crew almost entirely abandoned animation in favor of the ''WebVideo/NeebsGaming'' channel, and they have a weekly Twitch stream. In fairness their gaming output generally has directing, editing, acting, and is overall fairly high-effort as opposed to the simple run-throughs-with-commentary most gaming channels do.
* TearJerker: In "Left Behind", after Noob declines getting in Medic's tank in favor of a helicopter, his entire team leaves him behind at base. Upon hearing that everyone is having fun without him, his spirit breaks and begins to cry. [[AssholeVictim Say what you want]] [[InsufferableImbecile about his behavior]], but seeing him broken like that hits surprisingly hard.
* UnintentionalPeriodPiece: Several episodes feel like a time capsule nowadays. Some examples include...
** "Teamspeak" has Noob using the app to discuss with other players other than his squad, much to their annoyance and [[TakeThat looking down on the app]]. If this episode were to be made today, Noob would definitely use Discord instead. The squad's negative reaction to it would also be much more tame due to how accepted Discord is.
** Upon the release of ''Hardline'', the first episode about it has Engineer begging his friends to come play ''Battlefield 4'' with him instead, with them refusing. Now it seems ironic due to the player base for ''Hardline'' being '''much''' smaller with people sticking to other Battlefield games, including ''Battlefield 4''.
