* SugarWiki/HeartwarmingMoments: Small thing near the beginning of the first episode, AFatherToHisMen Meifon (who's TheCaptain of her ship) happily handing out cups of tea to her crew.
* SugarWiki/MomentOfAwesome:
** The first battle from episode 1 ends with Meifon personally destroying the retreating grappler ships with the ship's Links Cannon.
** When Meifon kills the pirate leader Exiade Leego with a single blow from her CoolSword.
--> Meifon: Kill the shepherd and the sheep will scatter.
* TearJerker:
** The last episode, just about all of it. First, Goryu tries to persuade Meifon to work with him. He claims only he can help her obtain a normal lifespan, he even claims that he truly does love her. When she again refuses him he gives her a chance to kill him, though there's a good chance she'll die too. [[spoiler: Meifon takes her chances but Goryu decides to save her at the last moment and dies.]]
** Then there's the ending. [[spoiler:After Goryu's death, Meifon decides to live the remainder of her life in peace. At one point, she has a conversation with an old woman about what they want to reincarnate as: for the old woman, a girl who has had as many adventures as Meifon, and for Meifon, a free cat that can eat a lot. Meifon is last seen in her house, sleeping peacefully in the night, as she turns seventeen. It seems all but certain, that she couldn't escape her fate in the end, and accepts it gracefully like the angel she was in life.]]
** The series ends with the Opening credits, but with SilentCredits after .
