* BadBadActing: The kid who plays Walter, the son of Ron and Veronica. He's worse than Creator/ChristopherWalken when it comes to blatantly reading cue cards off-screen - he barely ever looks any character he's interacting with in the eye since he's too busy reading. And that's not even mentioning the delivery.
* BaseBreaker: Chani, Brick's love interest. Some find her funny, others find her tedious and irritating and only adding to Brick's {{Flanderization}}.
** The end fight scene. While it was pretty much mandatory after the memorable fight scene in the first movie, some felt that this one went on far too long and got far too ridiculous to be funny.
* ContestedSequel: While the film has received a positive response from critics (its score on Website/RottenTomatoes is even higher than the original), fans have split into three camps: It's not as good as the original and is a victim of {{Sequelitis}}, a worthy sequel that is still good even though the original is a ToughActToFollow or the rare group that finds it an EvenBetterSequel.
* CrazyAwesome: The last fight in the movie, [[spoiler: involving the ghost of Stonewall Jackson that eats souls, a Minotaur, Ron's former boss turning into a were-hyena, the psychiatrist turning out to have psychic powers, Wes Mantooth coming to save the Channel 4 Team by threatening Lame and his goons by attempting TakingYouWithMe and Kanye West, Will Smith, Jim Carrey, Marion Cotillard, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Liam Neeson, and Creator/SachaBaronCohen showing up to fight as newscasters.]]
** [[spoiler: And a Greek goddess played by Kirsten Dunst gives the signal to start the game.]]
* EndingFatigue: Some found the ending fight went on for far too long.
* OneSceneWonder: Numerous during the big final battle but special mention goes to [[spoiler: the ghost of Stonewall Jackson as played by Jon C. Reily.]]
* RetroactiveRecognition: A very odd one: There's a second-long shot of a cab driver after Ron and Linda leave her family's house. The cab driver would later go on to play the Killer in ''Series/TooManyCooks''.
* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodCharacter: Brian Fantana and Champ Kind aren't given nearly as much screen time as they are in the first film, especially compared to Brick.
* TrailerJokeDecay: The green screen joke gets this. As does the slo-mo Winnebago crash.
