* AlternativeCharacterInterpretation: Frankie ''would'' be a nice guy if the people he hung out with weren't such dickheads.
* BestKnownForTheFanservice: Some people most likely remember the film for Creator/AmandaSeyfried and Creator/OliviaWilde's nude scenes. Creator/AmberHeard goes nude too, although her reputation has soured considerably since the film's release in 2006.
* CreepyAwesome: Jake Mazursky. [[AxCrazy Calling the guy unstable is a massive understatement]], and there's also the fact he might legitimately be a Neo-Nazi ([[BoomerangBigot in spite of also being of Jewish descent]]), but thanks to Creator/BenFoster's chilling performance and the scene of him [[OneManArmy beating the ever-loving shit out of an entire room of people]], he's become a bit of a LoveToHate fan-favorite character amongst audience members.
* DrinkingGame: Take a shot whenever a profanity is uttered. You'll likely die of alcohol poisoning halfway through the film.
%% Do NOT reference the death of Creator/AntonYelchin in the movie as Harsher in Hindsight. Yelchin died a decade AFTER this movie came out. Thank you.
* MoralEventHorizon: Johnny and Elvis have pretty much punched their tickets to Hell by the time the credits roll.
* {{Narm}}: Sharon Stone's fat suit at the end has been a target for derision. [[spoiler:Her character let herself go after the murder of her son and is giving an interview about the outcome of the kidnapping.]]
* NightmareFuel: The eventual murder of Zack is rather horrifying, especially with Elvis's full switch to LackOfEmpathy as he shoots Zack after he's been smacked with the shovel.
* TearJerker: The climax pretty much tears apart the entire gang and the more sympathetic members look devastated by the end of it. That's not even getting started on Zach in his final moments.
* TooBleakStoppedCaring: To an extent. The film stars a seemingly crapsack cast of characters who are either obnoxious, violent, arrogant, ''incredibly'' profane, self-centered, sleazy, stupid, bigoted, bitchy, nasty, amoral, or a combination all of twelve traits with even the ones who aren't as morally dubious still seem to have some unlikable quality about them, although the performances of the actors do save it somewhat.
