In the fourth film Tammy insists she won't join the baseball team unless they also let Andrea join and after Tammy moves away in the fifth film Andrea attempts to raise money to go and see her in California and after that fails she gets into volleyball not for her own enjoyment but because the first prize for winning tournament is a trip to Cali.
