* SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic: Kool Moe Dee's "Let's Go" which covers the entire credit sequence.
* HilariousInHindsight: Thanks to the concept of NightmareFuel, Freddy's "fuel injection" line is now more appropriate than ever.
* HolyShitQuotient: Alice dreams of her womb and her baby. [[spoiler: She's happy at first, until she realizes Freddy is there too, and has been feeding the souls of his victims to make the baby evil like him.]]
* MisaimedFandom: At one point, Freddy forcefully fuses a character with his motorcycle. The process looks unbearably painful, with pipes and wires piercing through his flesh, skin peeling off and pieces of machinery inserting themselves into his body all over. It is...gruesome...and if you look the scene up on Youtube and check the comments, you will find people talking about how badass the resulting being looks, and how it should get its own movie or comic book series.
* {{Squick}}: The film is so squicky that it's the only ''Elm Street'' movie to have an unrated version.
* TearJerker: It's a brief moment, but should still count. [[spoiler: The scene of Greta inside her bedroom following Dan's death. She's looking at Dan's photo in the yearbook alongside the photo taken from the graduation ceremony, and quietly crying. It's one of those few moments in the series where someone mourned over the death of a character and A: the main character was not involved, and B: it did not immediately lead to another death.]]
** Her {{Backstory}} as revealed in ''Dream Warriors'' was sad enough, but finding out what happened to Amanda Krueger (and ''witnessing'' it) is heartbreaking. The fact that despite this her ghost/dream self was able to make a heroic last attempt to keep Freddy away from Alice and her baby by ''[[{{Squick}} taking him back into her womb]]'' is both this and a CrowningMomentOfAwesome.
