Christopher "Chris" Ford (born March 4, 1974) is an American {{professional wrestl|ing}}er from Rutherford, UsefulNotes/NewJersey best known for his work in the 1990s and early 2000s as Devon Storm or Crowbar. He debuted in 1992 after training at Wrestling/IronMikeSharpe's school under the Devon Storm name competing in various independents. He also had some matches in Wrestling/{{ECW}} and took part in the tournament to fill the vacated [[http://www.wrestling-titles.com/mexico/uwa/wwf-lh.html WWF World Light Heavyweight Title]] and he and his tag partner Ace Darling did some jobs on Wrestling/{{WCW}} TV as well. In November 1999, he was reintroduced to WCW audiences as Crowbar, an ally of David Flair and Wrestling/DaffneyUnger. David and Crowbar would hold the [[http://www.wrestling-titles.com/wcw/wcw-t.html WCW World Tag Team Titles]] before the trio split up, with David going off on his own and Crowbar and Daffney staying together. Crowbar would also hold the [[http://www.wrestling-titles.com/wwe/wwe-c.html WCW World Cruiserweight Title]] and the [[http://www.wrestling-titles.com/wcw/wcw-hc.html WCW Hardcore Title]]. After WCW closed, WWE did not pick up his or Daffney's contracts. He went back to the Storm name and returned to the independents. He did some jobs on WWE's weekend {{B Show}}s ''Sunday Night Heat'' and ''Velocity'' in 2003. He entered [[Wrestling/ImpactWrestling TNA]] as Tempest of [[Wrestling/JamesMitchell "Father" James Mitchell]]'s the New Church. He has also worked as a physical therapist and continued working the independent circuit, showing up in promotions such as Wrestling/RingOfHonor. Prior to his WCW run, he was well known for his work in the Mid-Atlantic independent scene of the late 1990s alongside Ace Darling, Wrestling/RecklessYouth and Lance (Simon) Diamond.

He is in no way connected to Wrestling/JamesStorm, Wrestling/LanceStorm or [[Wrestling/TheDudleyBoys Brother Devon]] or to the band Music/{{Crowbar}}.

!! "Mindbending Tropes":
* ArchEnemy: Wrestling/RicFlair, Wrestling/TerryFunk, Wrestling/{{Sabu}} (in WWAS),
* AxCrazy: Became one of his signatures once he became Crowbar.
* BaitAndSwitch: Wrestling/TruthMartini paid him to bail from a match with Grizzly Redwood so Michael Elgin could beat him up in Storm's place.
* [[BashBrothers Bash Brothers and Sisters]]: Ace Darling, Daffney Unger, Damian Kane
* CrowbarCombatant: Wielded his namesake to good effect.
* {{Determinator}}: A rare humorous example. During his match with C.W. Anderson at ''MLW Reload'', September 26, 2002, someone in the crowd shouted "Kill him!" and C.W. Anderson said, "I'm f'ing trying, man!"
* TheDragon: As Mike Tenay's bodyguard during TNA's invasion of CSWF.
* EarlyInstallmentWeirdness: Pre-WCW, he had blond hair and was clean cut.
* EyeTake: Done to show just how crazy he really was, being ''really'' happy for little discernible reason.
* FightingYourFriend: Part of the reason he lost the cruiserweight championship to Daffney is that he was holding back. She ended up to be doing so as well, pinning Crowbar by accident while trying to see if he was okay.
* FinishingMove: Eye of the Storm (inverted DDT), Mindbender (sitout inverted suplex slam)
* GeniusBruiser: He has a degree in Physical Therapy.
* IHaveManyNames: Besides the Devon Storm and Crowbar names, he also wrestled briefly under the names Salem, Judas, Tempest, and Storm.
* {{Jobber}}: Served as one on WWE Velocity and Heat. On the former he memorably managed to put up a decent fight against up and comer Sean O'Haire while the most memorable thing he did on Heat was get steamrolled by Wrestling/ScottSteiner, to show how angry we was over the whole Wrestling/{{Test}}[=/=]Wrestling/StacyKeibler situation.
* {{Joisey}}
* KickTheDog: The TNA invaders were actually cheered by the CSWF audience initially. That was until Crowbar helped Trinity defeat April Hunter for the vacant women's championship.
* LightningBruiser
* NotAsYouKnowThem: The commentators on Velocity joked about Crowbar no longer being a cruiserweight. He still had a six-pack but it was covered by a solid layer of fat.
* OhCrap: He was facing Wrestling/MikeQuackenbush at Pro Xcitement Wrestling's June 23, 2002 event, and Quack got fed up with Crowbar's valet Syrena constantly interfering. Quack went to the back to find a partner. Crowbar followed... and practically ''dove'' through the curtain when he realized Quack had found '''[[Wrestling/LunaVachon LUNA VACHON]]''' to be his partner.
* PartsUnknown: (as Devon Storm in WWAS): "The Other Side of Sanity"
* PowerStable:
** (in WCW): The New Blood
** (in TNA): The New Church
** (in OVW): The Disciples of Synn
* RedBaron: "Dangerous"
* TagTeam: The Extreme, with Ace Darling
* WrestlingDoesntPay: Crowbar was originally a wrestling gas station attendant, although that was forgotten after about a month or so.
