[[caption-width-right:256: The two brothers; Guapo (left) and Fraz]]

One of the most obscure cartoons ever. It never seemed to catch on, lasting a full 26 episodes from January 1999 to January 2000 on Creator/{{Nickelodeon}} [[note]]they didn't make it, it was made by Creator/SunbowEntertainment and animated at Creator/{{AKOM}}, who hasn't worked on a Nicktoon (yet)[[/note]]. The show focused on a pair of blue alien brothers named Guapo and Fraz Flub, both different shades of blue. Guapo is fat and eager, while Fraz is skinny and panicky. The two worked as couriers for a company called Retrograde and traveled to various worlds with unusual quirks. These included a planet so small that one of them swallowed it, one that featured a lifesize pinball machine, and one inhabited by beatnik aliens.

Although it was met with a decent amount of commercial tie-ins, including toys at fast food chains and appearances in ads for Macy's, the show never caught on. What few critics paid it any mind didn't think that it was anything good.

Not to be confused with ''WesternAnimation/TheBrothersGrunt''.

* OneMillionBC: One of the planets the brothers visit is a prehistoric world.
* AliensSpeakingEnglish: The entire cast.
* AmazingTechnicolorPopulation: Guapo and Fraz are shades of blue. Their boss, Tarara Boomdeyay, is green. Other characters include the purple Valerina and the orange Squish.
* AmnesiaEpisode: "Thanks for the Memories", which revolves around Fraz losing his memory by exposing himself to a strange gas, forcing Guapo to show him some old pictures of them in a photo album to revive his memory.
* CatchPhrase: Fraz. "It's all part of my master plan."
* CowardlyLion: Fraz.
* DoomyDoomsOfDoom: Fraz used the word "doom" in nearly every episode. One of the show's video collections is titled "Doom Wears Funny Tights!"
* FatAndSkinny: The titular brothers.
* GratuitousSpanish: Guapo sometimes lapses into this. Heck, [[IronicName his name is Spanish for "handsome".]]
* HumanSacrifice: Fraz nearly falls victim to this trope in "Heads Up" when the people of the Land of Easter Island Head People try to send him to the "Land of Happiness and Bliss"... which apparently happens to be right at the top of a nearby volcano.
* KingKongClimb: In the episode "Cookie Crumbles", the cookie king that the brothers bake ends up climbing a skyscraper with Guapo in his hand.
* LivingShip: The Hoog, the spaceship that the Flubs drive, is addressed as a living being. It even has a tongue for a bay door.
* NowWhichOneWasThatVoice: The credits list the voice actors, but don't say who voiced which character.
* OffModel: The show is quite infamous for this trope. The animation itself is rather... indescribably strange. The character movement is pretty bouncy and awkward, and there are some instances where the voices don't sync up perfectly with the mouth movements.
* PlanetOfHats: Every planet that Retrograde makes deliveries to is a particular hat planet. For example:
## a planet of wrestlers.
## a planet of people with giant hands for heads.
## an arctic planet of snowmen [[FantasticRacism who are prejudiced towards those with hands]] (Hand Shakers!).
## a prehistoric themed planet.
* PunnyName: Tarara Boomdeyay is named for a kids' novelty song.
* ShoutOut: The episode "Shrinky Dinky" featured a ShowWithinAShow called "[[Series/GeneralHospital Desperate Hospital]]".
* SurrealThemeTune: The theme song is nothing but off-key "na na na"s with an occasional "flub" thrown in.
* TrademarkFavoriteFood: Guacamole for Guapo.
* TwoShorts
* UnusualEuphemism: "Bejabbers!" (which caught a second life on the also short-lived but ''much'' better regarded ''WesternAnimation/DaveTheBarbarian'')
* YetAnotherChristmasCarol: The episode "A Courier's Carol".
* YouGottaHaveBlueHair: Or in the case of the Flub brothers, blue fur.
