''A Car's Life: Sparky's Big Adventure'' is an AllCGICartoon by Creator/SparkPlugEntertainment. It is the story (if you can call it that) of Sparky, an annoying and ugly young car who's at a "rebellious" stage of his life. From speeding to deliberately driving over potholes and using them to launch himself in the air to getting "tricked out", his antics have his father Fender at his wit's end. Diesel, a female (though she certainly doesn't look like it) WWII-era Jeep, is a bad influence on Sparky, encouraging him to trick himself out and sneak out to the movies at night, despite being grounded. But it turns out Diesel has a sinister plot at hand...

In 2012, a sequel simply titled ''Car's Life 2'' was released.

* BigDamnHeroes / JustInTime: [[spoiler:Fender and Clutch (with a rocket launcher) save Sparky and Speedy just as they're done for, unfortunately]].
* BigNo: Fender lets one loose after Gracie voices her dream to join the circus.
* CircusOfFear: In ''Car's Life 2'', Diesel turns the Greasy Springs Circus into one under her ownership. The main attractions include A: subjecting Sparky and Petoola to a treadmill of increasing speed until one of them runs out of gas, falls asleep or stalls and is ripped apart by the "Jaws of Doom", and B: forcing Bumper and Valve (customers who couldn't pay for the services of Diesel's gas station) to compete in "Dante's Demolition Derby".
* CreatorCameo: Director and writer Michael Schelp voices the Gas Leech Father in the first film.
* CrossDressingVoices: The voice of Sparky and Norbert is Corinne Orr, a female who was born in 1936. She also voices [[WesternAnimation/SpidersWebAPigsTale Walt the Pig]]. And what a coincidence that they are almost the same! The only difference is that Sparky's a car and Walt's a pampered piglet.
* DirectToVideo
* DisneyDeath: Speedy. [[TheScrappy Unfortunately]].
* DisproportionateRetribution: Near the end, [[spoiler: Diesel has her DumbMuscle tow truck crony Igor smash Sparky's friend Speedy (though Speedy, unfortunately, [[DisneyDeath gets better]]), yet gets arrested for driving without a license?]]
** Happens again in the sequel: [[spoiler:Diesel is not arrested for trying to destroy Fender's gas station, poisoning Bumper's gas or even trying to kill Sparky and/or Petoola, but for driving with an expired registration.]]
* ExtraEyes: Diesel's henchman Igor has an extra pair of eyes.
* FormerTeenRebel: Fender
* GoodSmokingEvilSmoking: Diesel is never seen without a cigarette, which is pointed out as being bad. Then again, she was smoking next to a gas pump.
* IWantSong: Sparky begins one in the beginning of the first film, but Fender stops him with a reminder that this isn't a musical.
* JumpPhysics / YouFailPhysicsForever: Sparky is able to effortlessly pull off backflips while driving off ramps.
* LethallyStupid: Speedy
* MockBuster
* NeverSayDie: Averted.
* NoIndoorVoice: Speedy doesn't talk. No, she SCREECHES EVERY LINE OBNOXIOUSLY! One Website/YouTube commenter put it best, in that she sounds like an annoying retarded version of [[Franchise/{{Batman}} Harley Quinn's]] voice actress.
** The sequel fixed that and gave her a normal voice.
* ObviouslyEvil: Diesel
* OfficerOHara: Clutch becomes one in the sequel.
* TheOtherDarrin: Creator/SeanSchemmel and Jim Woods take over Glen Gomez's roles as Fender and Clutch in the sequel due to a diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease forcing Gomez into retirement. Norbert and Gracie also have different voice actors in the sequel, though they are uncredited.
* OverprotectiveDad: Fender. [[JustifiedTrope Justified]], considering how reckless Sparky is.
* RealLifeRelative: Sparky's little sister Gracie is voiced by Michael Schelp's real-life daughter (niece?) Grace, and the Gas Leech's son is voiced by his real-life son (nephew?) Mark.
* RecordNeedleScratch: When Fender cuts Sparky's attempt at an IWantSong short.
* SmugSnake: Diesel is a BigBad version.
* TheSociopath: Diesel.
* SoundtrackDissonance: The gentle, upbeat piano music that plays when Diesel sets Norbert the gas pump on fire.
* StrawNihilist: Diesel
