''[[http://superredundant.com League of Super Redundant Heroes]]'' is a webcomic about a household of ineffective super-heroes ([[MyFriendsAndZoidberg and Keith]]), who live in the city of [[TheProblemWithPenIsland Shitropolis]] (''cough'').

[[WordOfGod In their own words]], "''League of Super Redundant Heroes'' is a stupid comic made by even stupider people. Nonetheless, we hope you enjoy this web comic and return frequently as we update with new strips and try and progress from stupid to less stupid."

Updates biweekly.

!!Characters:
* Lazer Pony A blind guy with [[FrickinLaserBeams lasers]] ''[[BlessedWithSuck behind]]'' [[EyeBeams his eyes]] and [[TheDitz below average intelligence]].
* Good Girl A good helpful Catholic girl, a beacon of sweetness and light, until her Battery of Virtue (halo power) runs out. Then she's kind of mean.
* Buckaress a.k.a. Eva A normal girl in a [[{{Stripperiffic}} poorly-fitting]] {{Cowgirl}} outfit. Joined the group after being blackmailed into spying on them.
* Keith [[TheTeamNormal Some guy they live with]].
* Gyrognome The landlord, a grumpy [[RetiredBadass former superhero]]. Fear his tiny powerful fists, especially when your rent's due.
* Cat-A-Pult Super villain with the power to levitate cats.
* Distracterella Super villainess with the [[DistractedByTheSexy power of distraction]], which she got from a [[ItRunsOnNonsenseoleum sexy]] [[MagicMeteor meteor]].
* [[http://superredundant.com/?p=173 Bolfman_234]] A nerdy porn addict with a Website specializing in smutty pictures of super-heroines and villainesses.
* The Evil Savant A mentally disabled evil mastermind.
* Mary-Sue A ParodySue and Lazer Pony's girlfriend.
* Kurgh An alien invader who succeeded in conquering the city, and now finds himself stuck with dealing with all the day-to-day minutia of actually administering it.
* Josie A friend of Eva's from high school who took up witchcraft as a hobby and spices up her boring life as a housewife by [[PokeThePoodle inflicting mildly irritating curses]] on her old friend.
* Alex Eva's girlfriend. Also her mentor in superheroing, even though she's much less experienced, because she's a lot more competent.

----
!!''League of Super Redundant Heroes'' provides examples of:

* ActionPolitician: Kurgh may be a reluctant mayor, but he [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=207-adapting sure does a badass job of it.]]
* {{Adorkable}}: How most fans of the strip perceive Lazer Pony.
* AllTakeAndNoGive: Keith. Lazer Pony alone pays the rent. Everyone else helps out in other little ways, such as by helping in their incompetent fight against crime and Good Girl doing the chores, but Keith just loafs around and spends Lazer Pony's money on his own entertainment.
* AlphaBitch: Buckaress [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=447-reminiscing was this]] [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=451-back-in-the-day in high school]].
* AndIMustScream: Possibly Bad Good Girl's fate. Originally, she was an just an ordinary orphan girl. But after a near-sighted priest accidentally gave her an exorcism (brainwashing) intended for a really horrible girl, it made her "more good". Bad Good Girl has claimed that she doesn't have a SplitPersonality per se, but that her halo makes the Good Girl persona look and act good while the real her is powerless unless the halo runs out of juice. At which point, her embittered, [[RedEyesTakeWarning red-eyed]], Bad Good Girl personality rebels by doing the things Good Girl won't let her do. It moves into StepfordSmiler territory when [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=114-identity one strip]] makes it seem the real her is present at all times, being forced to exist in a body she can't control. However, the true nature of the curse has been intentionally left vague, and on one occasion, Bad Good Girl herself treats Good Girl as a truly separate personality.
* ArtEvolution: Beyond the art generally improving, the beginning of the comic had panels with just one color (though with various shades) until [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=059-changes strip #59]] which marked the switch to full colors. Explained in-universe by the cosmic being (a ComicBook/{{Galactus}} {{Expy}}) who watched the Redundant Heroes like a sitcom buying a new TV set. In an unusual bout of MediumAwareness, the characters are surprised by the color change -- except for Lazer Pony, of course.
* AtrociousAlias:
** Bad Good Girl, which is Good Girl without her halo. She hates the name, but it's what stuck.
** Ass-tronomous's chosen alias was Astronomous. Unfortunately for him, Gyrognome started calling him Asstronomous in honor of his buttocks, and the name stuck. Which is also what got Gyrognome kicked off the team.
** A jovial superhero who was frozen in the '40s, and is being coached to re-adapt to the 21st century. His name? The [[HaveAGayOldTime GAY BASHER]]! Curiously, he seems quite accepting that he needs to change his identity for linguistic reasons, only asking if he can still throw around his patented "Gaymakers".
* TheBadGuyWins: Played with hilariously. In his first appearance, Kurgh the Conqueror -- warlord and scourge of the galaxy -- comes to town demanding the city submit to him. Since Shitropolis is a really crappy place to live in, let alone manage, the previous administration is ecstatic and declares the whole mess his problem now. [[GenreShift The rest of this appearances have]] [[VictoryIsBoring him suffering the total monotony of dealing with mayoral politics.]]
* BalefulPolymorph: Maroon Jackdaw transforms Asstronomous's head into a donkey's to punish him for repeatedly annoying the superheroines at the Bar of Justice.
* BatmanCanBreatheInSpace: Averted. Just because a {{Heavyworlder}} alien superhero can jump very high [[http://superredundant.com/?p=733 doesn't mean he can breathe in space.]]
* BeautyEqualsGoodness:
** Subverted by The Spank. So far he's been a good person and a competent superhero, but [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=058-teams his looks]]...
** Cleverly subverted with Flying-Fox Man. He's a highly competent hero with the police and media trying to uncover his identity. They have a strong lead with a [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=177-man-behind-flying-fox-man handsome young billionaire...]] [[spoiler:Which annoys the balding, acne-ridden, bug-eyed, ugly as get out middle-aged billionaire who really wears the mask. He is sick of everyone always thinking it's the "pretty boy billionaires"]].
* BecomingTheMask: Buckaress in two different ways. She was originally just an ordinary person, but she was hired as a mole in the LSR. She decided she likes being a hero, so she stayed with the League.
* BigNo: Bolfman_123 lets out a "NOOOOOOOOOO!" (along with SkywardScream) when he discovers on the Web that Buckaress switched her costume for a much less {{Stripperiffic}} one.
* BiTheWay: Buckaress was once an AlphaBitch at her school, constantly stealing other girls' boyfriends, and has expressed an interest in getting a boyfriend in the present. And yet Distracterella's powers, [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=144-plan-b which have been stated to not normally work on women]], [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=166-release work on her just fine]]. This, incidentally, is {{Foreshadowing}} to an arc where she inadvertently sets herself on a blind date with another woman [[spoiler:who turns out to secretly be another super]] and starts to bond with her. ({{Lampshade}}d when the date says that it's a shame she's not into women, only for her to reply that she is "50/50" on that at the moment.)
* BizarreAlienReproduction: Something one human woman in an InterspeciesRomance [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=408-star-crossed-lovers learns]] to her dismay.
-->'''Doctor:''' Good news: it's not a tumor. Ba-- um... ''other'' news: you're pregnant.
* BlessedWithSuck:
** ZigZagged by Lazer Pony: he ''did'' go blind the first time he fired a laser blast ([[ExactWords they come from]] ''[[ExactWords behind]]'' [[ExactWords his eyes]]), but the Lazer Stallions, his counterparts from the rest of the multiverse, are the most powerful and effective superheroes of their respective worlds in spite of being blind (and one who's in a wheelchair).
** A still unnamed superhero is a FlyingBrick with a healing factor, unless he's near space rocks. ''Earth is a giant space rock'' (that's why he takes the bus).
* BlindingBangs: Lazer Pony has hair covering his eyes the very rare times we see him out of costume. As he's blind it's hardly a hindrance, though he would fit in the dumbass category anyway. And since his EyeBeams power had burned out his eyes five years ago, it's probably best they aren't visible.
* BlondeBrunetteRedhead: Apparently, one team [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=314-color-coded attempts to do it deliberately]]. Complete with a TokenMinority for a FourGirlEnsemble.
* BodyPaint: Distracterella's suit [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=strip-51 isn't a suit]]...
* {{Brainwashed}}: According to her own bad girl personality, Good Girl is brainwashed by her halo.
* BrickJoke:
** Rectal itching, first of all Lazer Pony and subsequently Maroon Jackdaw.
** Lazer Pony has insurance that covers accidentally shooting down blimps, although what else it covers in unspecified.
* BunnyEarsLawyer: [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=187-theistic-debate The Spank has been promoted to the Power Group]].
* ButForMeItWasTuesday: Buckaress finds the knowledge that she once stole Distractarella's boyfriend when they were in school together utterly useless in working out her civilian identity.
* CasanovaWannabe: Despite being one of Shitropolis's top superheroes, Asstronomous has a lot of trouble finding any women who are interested in him precisely ''because'' of this attitude. Even when Maroon Jackdaw spells it out for him, he refuses to take the hint.
* CeilingCling: Surprisingly, [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=444-bugging-out Lazer Pony can do it...]] [[spoiler:if properly motivated, like by a spider]].
* ChekhovsGun: [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=359-improbable-outcome "Chekhov's Grapple Guns"]] sells the GrapplingHookPistol variety, which are highly recommended...
* CityOfAdventure: Shitropolis is one. It's got several superhero teams and hardly a day goes by when they aren't called to action. [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=116-number-crunching Two-thirds of the city's population is either a superhero or a supervillain]].
* CleavageWindow: Buckaress' new outfit is a LOT more covering than [[{{stripperific}} her old one]], but still includes one of these.
* ComicallyMissingThePoint: The league's reaction to [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=071-late-night-show Phantom Ghost's bashing their group on TV]].
* ComplexityAddiction: Asstronomous gets cursed by Maroon Jackdaw to have [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=378-think-about-it the head of a donkey.]] Rather than [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=382-humility apologize]] and promise to stop hitting on her and the other superheroines at the [[GoodGuyBar Bar of Justice]], [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=384-problem-solving he goes back in time]], finds an un-cursed version of himself, clones him, has his mind transferred to the clone and comes back to the present.
-->'''Asstronomous:''' What? Maroon Jackdaw was being completely unreasonable!
* {{Conscription}}: Kyle Jordan gets inducted into the Stellar Corps in this fashion.
* ContinuityNod: The bank robbed by Cat-A-Pult, Distracterella and the Evil Savant is called Humblebee Memorial, named after Lazer Pony's former teammate who died in a training accident (see PowerIncontinence).
* CrapsackWorld: There are so many superheroes and supervillains in this world, that there is a crisis going on at practically any given moment. Lampshaded in that the town the [=LoSRH=] live in is called Shitropolis.
* CurseEscapeClause: [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=336-diagnosis This strip]] suggests that Bad Good Girl is free to take the halo off if somebody asks her to do so. Presumably, her teammates aren't that stupid.
* DeadpanSnarker: [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=063-pick-me-up Sarcasmo]].
* DirtyOldMan: Gyrognome [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=510-gift-fallout seems to fit the type quite well]].
* DisposableSuperheroMaker: The President expresses a need for SuperSoldiers, but the responding adviser states that this trope is largely in effect, with no predictable means of producing super powered individuals... except the severely flawed process that created Lazer Pony. Desperate, the President reactivates the project.
* DisproportionateRetribution: It would seem Bad Good Girl will hold a grudge for a ''very'' long time, even though she can't dish out retribution unless she isn't under the halo's influence. In [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=135-retribution "Retribution"]], Lazer Pony spills blueberry juice on Good Girl's shirt, and even apologizes for it; ''two weeks later'', when she isn't wearing her halo, she slugs him in the stomach for it.
* DistractedByTheSexy: Distracterella's whole superpower. Parodied in the very first comic: [[IgnoreTheFanservice her powers are useless]] against the blind Lazer Pony.
* DramaticUnmask: Subverted when tried on Snob Goblin: that's his actual face.
* TheDreaded: [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=191-good-cop The Spank helping the interrogation of a Joker expy]].
* DudeWheresMyRespect: While Lazer Pony doesn't deserve much respect as a hero, the fact remains that his disability check is the team's primary source of income, and they force him to sleep in a cave in the backyard.
* EasilyForgiven:
** Lazer Pony, Good Girl, and Keith never hold anything against Buckaress for having been a mole at first. (Not that she ever really harmed them by doing so.)
** [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=217-still-in-hiding Keith doesn't hold a grudge]] against Cat-A-Pult and Distracterella for tying him up and locking him in a closet in his underwear for a week. (Although the fact that they did the same thing to Good Girl and Buckaress probably helped...)
* EpicFail:
** [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=086-out-ranked Lazer Pony gets caught by the Cub-scouts for forgetting to pay for a snicker bar]].
** [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=241-cook-off Buckaress]] [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=265-toasty trying to cook]] is sure to go up in flames. She's so bad at it that she [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=370-making-breakfast doesn't even need to be the one cooking for it to go up in flames]]. [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=495-full-circle Even mentioning cooking around her is]] PlayingWithFire.
** Buckaress [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=359-improbable-outcome trying to throw something]] usually ends this way.
* EquippableAlly: Lazer Pony. There's a reason his helmet includes handle-bars for his teammates to grab....
* EtiquetteNazi: Snob Goblin, a supervillain who attacks any offensive celebrities (extreme artist, trashy starlet, internet pornograph), objects to superheroines wearing sexualized outfits, and scolds you for harsh language while rampaging around.
* EvilGloating: Subverted; even supervillains can suffer low self-esteem.
* ExactWords: After becoming mayor, Kurgh concedes that his old battle axe has no place in politics. [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=207-adapting Guns, on the other hand...]]
* ExplainExplainOhCrap: [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=267-reactions "The troupe of superpowered opera singers just arrived... a supertanker filled with sneezing powder capsized near the docks..."]] [[OhCrap Uh oh...]]
* ExposedToTheElements:
** Buckaress orders a special costume so that she doesn't freeze in the winter. Unfortunately, while [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=204-seasonal-apparel the shorts and gloves appear to have a warm lining, the outfit as a whole is almost as skimpy as her regular outfit]].
** Given that Distractarella's costume consists of pasties and BodyPaint, she probably feels this in the winter.
* ExpressiveMask: Many examples, prominently Lazer Pony and Distracterella (Assuming that Distracterella is actually ''wearing'' a mask rather than more BodyPaint).
* {{Expy}}: Plenty all over the place. One [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=064-bar-of-justice particular example stands out]] when Lazer Pony is drinking with a Spider-Man and Batman expy:
-->'''Arachnid Dude:''' My life suuuuucks! No job, no money, no apartment and the woman I love won't talk to me [[ComicBook/OneMoreDay because I sold our marriage to the devil.]]\\
'''Flying-Fox Man:''' [[ComicBook/ADeathInTheFamily My archnemesis beat my sidekick to death with a crowbar.]]
* ExtremeDoormat: A possible explanation for The Banana and The Spank. We're told that both are among the city's greatest heroes, but neither one has ever said or done anything [[OffscreenMomentOfAwesome on-panel]]. When the mayor attempts to introduce them to one another, they just stand and stare at one another motionless until the building closes.
* FaceHeelTurn: Distracterella started out as a crimefighter, using her charm to disable crooks. Unfortunately, she got tired of cops being equally turned into drooling idiots when arriving on site and allowing the crooks to flee. She eventually got fed up and turned villain instead.
* FanDisservice: [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=049-candybar-incident Lazer Pony thinking he's alone in the house]].
* FlyingBrick:
** Asstronomous
** Sarcasmo
** Mary-Sue
* FramingTheGuiltyParty: [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=037-dirty-hero Gyrognome does it, multiple times,]] [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=286-city-guardian going overboard every single time]].
* FrivolousLawsuit: After [[TookALevelInBadass Taking A Level In Badass]] [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=529-guardian-angel Good Girl]] is [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=531-help-wanted being sued by "religion" for trademark infringement and IP theft]].
* FullFrontalAssault: Distracterella's "costume" is actually nothing more than pasties and body paint.
* FunWithAcronyms:
** The eponymous league is often shortened to "[=LoSRH=]", including in-universe. Which, naturally, sounds like "losers".
** Also, the "Brotherhood of Adversaries and Deliciously Devious Intentionally Evil Supervillains", or B.A.D.D.I.E.S. for short.
** [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=439-dissatisfaction Buckaress's new superhero outfit]] comes equipped with Personal Lightweight Omnidirectional Tactical armor. PLOTArmor for short.
* GoKartingWithBowser:
** Bad Good Girl, Buckaress and Distracterella having drinks at a bar, talking about their love life problems.
** Lazer Pony and Cat-A-Pult are good friends, having pizzas before ''Franchise/StarTrek'' reruns and [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=141-unexpected-meeting pranking Asstronomous]].
** Josie's not really that serious of a supervillain to begin with, getting into mostly out of boredom and jealously of Buckaress, but [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=483-out-of-the-darkness after her latest supervillain moment, she and Buckaress and Alex go out for drinks]].
* GrapplingHookPistol: Given the high super population of Shitropolis, you can find those in nearly every convenience store. The [[ChekhovsGun Chekhov's Grapple Guns]] are [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=359-improbable-outcome the highest recommended variety]].
* GreenEyedMonster: Buckaress's best friend from high school took up magic and supervillainy because she's jealous of (what she imagines is) Buckaress's carefree lifestyle as a beloved superhero
* GroinAttack: Gyrognome has an habit of punching Lazer Pony there. [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=129-the-attachment Wearing cups only makes things worse]].
* HatOfFlight: The Evil Savant's [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=009-helmocopter propeller beanie]] can fly, although he's only used it once so far.
* HaveAGayOldTime: [[GenreSavvy They know it happens with]] [[HumanPopsicle cryogenically frozen heroes]], [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=295-translation-error and try to avoid it]].
* HeartIsAnAwesomePower: Cat-A-Pult's power to levitate cats starts becoming very handy once he [[DuctTapeForEverything duct-tapes cats to everything he owns]]. With enough duct tape and a few unusually docile cats, he's even [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=141-unexpected-meeting pranked A-list superhero Asstronomous]] and [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=145-hold-up held up a bank]].
* HeroInsurance: [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=202-double-trouble Lazer Pony has one]]. Too bad it mostly cover damage to blimps.
* HeroWithAnFInGood: The main cast.
* HollywoodLaw: The writer of the "GG gets sued" arc openly admitted that he knows nothing of real legal procedure, and it shows. Lampshaded in [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=537-the-decider 537]].
-->'''Lawyer:''' '''Objection!''' This is not a criminal case! This is not how court works.\\
'''Judge:''' '''Overruled!''' I'm the judge, I do what I want.
* HulkingOut: [[{{Expy}} Bulk]], obviously.
* HypocriticalHumor: Buckaress ridicules Keith watching the news because it's nothing but fluff pieces, then sits next to him and starts reading celebrity gossip on her iPad.
* IdiotHero: ''Oh so many.'' Lazer Pony stands out among them with a licensed therapist confirming his lower than average intelligence as his greatest hurdle.
* IDontLikeTheSoundOfThatPlace: ''Shitropolis.'' There's a name that just screams "high standard of living."
* ILoveYouBecauseICantControlYou: Distracterella has an unrequited crush on Lazer Pony, because (being blind) he is unaffected by her power. (That, and Bad Good Girl told him that Distracterella was ugly back when she was part of the team.)
* ImprobableAimingSkills:
** Inverted, as [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=117-team-practice Buckaress' aim is impossibly bad]].
** Played straight and made even more improbable when it's Cat-A-Pult's cats [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=153-fool-me-once doing the aiming]].
* ImStandingRightHere:
-->'''Snob Goblin:''' You two are aware I can hear you, right?
* InnocentFanserviceGirl: [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=048-boobie-cam Good Girl]], although it could be her bad-girl persona leaking through.
* InsistentTerminology: Flying-Fox Man (a Franchise/{{Batman}} {{Expy}}) insists he has no sidekick, only "crime-solving junior partners". {{Justified|Trope}}, since anyone mentioned to be his "sidekick" tends to immediately [[ComicBook/ADeathInTheFamily get hit with a crowbar]].
* TheInternetIsForPorn: Bolfman_234 got his start in the "photomanipulated superhero trend". When the trend passed, he turned to villainy for better source material.
* IWantGrandkids: Good Girl's sister has multiple children, but Good Girl herself is still single and her mother is getting impatient with that.
* KangarooCourt: Good Girl is put on trial for allegedly stealing "Religion"'s intellectual property. The judge in charge of the case decides the outcome of the trial before it even takes place, and overrules the complaints of Good Girl's lawyers that said case doesn't have a legal basis.
* KirbyDots: This graphical effect is used, appropriately enough, [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=059-changes to illustrate the aura]] of a ComicBook/{{Galactus}} CaptainErsatz.
* KneelBeforeZod: "Kneel before Kurgh the Conqueror, worm!"
* {{Ladyella}}: Distracterella, of course, spoofing the tendency for this naming convention in superhero stories.
* LegacyCharacter: Taken UpToEleven with Mosquito Man, of which there have been no less than [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=412-wildlife 113!]]
* LethalChef: Buckaress can set fire to water [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=241-cook-off by trying to boil it]]. Manages to set a ham sandwich on fire. In the middle of the kitchen counter. [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=265-toasty By placing a slice of ham on bread.]] She does it to Lazer Pony's waffle mix bowl. [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=370-making-breakfast Just by walking in the kitchen to get some coffee.]] And at a sub shop, by [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=393-eat-phresh asking for a sandwich that wasn't on the menu (All she asked for was that they not give her olives)]]. And again at the gym, [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=433-denial by taking the pickles off her sub]]. It [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=495-full-circle eventually occurs to her]] to weaponize it. The effect becomes so strong that even [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=504-meatballin invoking her name becomes enough to set food on fire]]. The most common explanations for this among fans are food-associated pyrokinesis or Josie hitting Buck with a curse that is more effective than her usual.
* LikeBrotherAndSister: Lazer Pony lets Good Girl (Distracterella in disguise) down gently after she kisses him, saying that [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=165-perception his mental picture of her]] wouldn't let him pursue her romantically.
* MagicPants: Apparently Bulk has a pair, but he [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=228-fair-warning doesn't always wear it]]...
* MassSuperEmpoweringEvent: [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=060 With hundreds arguing who's the real deal.]]
* MayorPain: When a supervillain broke into the Shitropolis mayor's office and demanded control of the city, [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=124-politics the elected mayor gleefully agreed and ran off.]] On a positive note, the new supervillain mayor is pretty dedicated to making the city function smoothly.
* MeanBoss: Keith, who tazers anyone at his office who tries to sneak a few extra minutes to their break.
* MiseryPoker: Parodied when Lazer Pony once played it with [[{{Expy}} expies]] of ''ComicBook/{{Batman}}'' and ''ComicBook/SpiderMan''.
-->'''Arachnid Dude:''' My life suuuuuucks. No job, no money, no apartment and the woman I love won't talk to me because [[ComicBook/OneMoreDay I sold our marriage to the devil]].\\
'''Flying-Fox-Man:''' My archnemesis [[ComicBook/ADeathInTheFamily beat my sidekick to death with a crow-bar]].\\
'''Lazer Pony:''' Because of my blindness, I constantly stub my pinky-toes against chairs.\\
'''Arachnid Dude:''' Oooouch.\\
'''Flying-Fox-Man:''' Those are the worst.
* MostCommonSuperpower:
** Good Girl, [[MsFanservice Buckaress]], and of course [[MsFanservice Distracterella]]. Buckaress and Distracterella getting extra points for that also being their ''only'' superpower (Unless there's something super about the [[LethalChef bizarre ways that Buckaress can set food on fire]]).
** This is literally one of Mary-Sue's powers. She can eat all she likes but she'll never gain any weight, aside from her boobs getting bigger.
* {{Narrator}}: The Narrator is an actual character, a crazy young woman who is typically locked in the asylum.
* NeckLift: Snob Goblin to Eva's date; flying variant.
* NinetiesAntiHero: Captain '95
* NinjaPirateZombieRobot: Josie's army of [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=465-challenge-issued Mummy-Ninjas]].
* NoNameGiven: A variant. Alex's superhero name has so far not been revealed in the comic. Lampshaded when [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=516-paying-attention Buckaress forgets and defends herself by saying that Alex doesn't say it very often.]]
* NotAgain: [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=115-the-morning-after Poor Distracterella]]... also a case of WhatDidIDoLastNight.
* NotWhatItLooksLike: [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=123-assumptions Meet The Spank]].
* ObviouslyEvil: "Religion"'s lawyer at Good Girl's trial is a clear stand-in for {{Satan}}.
* OhCrap: Cat-A-Pult is thrilled that the bank heist went off without a hitch. Then Asstronomous swears on television that he's coming after his gang.
-->'''Cat-A-Pult:''' What smells like urine?
* OhNoNotAgain: "Oh dear, I see young master Dodo got frozen in ice... again."
* OurNudityIsDifferent: Buckaress has such a {{Stripperiffic}} costume that she "feels naked" wearing [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=119-normal an ordinary sweater and jeans.]]
* PaintingTheMedium: The characters notice when the comic switches to full color... except Lazer Pony, of course.
* PaperThinDisguise:
** While hiding out at the Redundants' place from Asstronomous and his allies, [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=151-perfect-disguises Cat-A-Pult and his gang dress up as the Redundants]] when the heroes knock on the door, expecting the villains to hide there [[GenreSavvy because it's the last place they'd look, so they looked there first.]] They don't even bother removing their villain suits which they keep under their awful hero disguises. [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=153-fool-me-once Even Cat-A-Pult's cats are disguised]]. On the other hand, they have better aim than Buckaress...
** [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=226-guys-night The Spank is even worse]].
* ParodySue: Mary-Sue the FlyingBrick. She used to date Keith but he broke up when he grew bored with how absolutely perfect she was in every way. [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=163-likabillity She has flaws]]. [[InformedFlaw Not that you'd notice...]] Her clumsiness reappears when Asstronomus tries to hit on her, in a CursedWithAwesome way.
* PerpetualFrowner: Flying-Fox Man sure isn't the smiling type.
* PityTheKidnapper: In one arc, Distracterella's gang manages to capture most of the heroes and leave them BoundAndGagged in the closet of their own house, and take their place there. Lazer Pony [[WhatAnIdiot proves incapable to tell their voices from his actual roommates]] or notice that Buckaress seems missing. Unfortunately, Distracterella hears a lot of things she doesn't like both from talking to him and overhearing his conversations with Mary Sue. (She becomes jealous after hearing he has three dates with her in one night, and Good Girl had told him she was ugly.) Eventually after hearing too much, she decides to untie the others and tells her gang they're leaving. ([[http://superredundant.com/?comic=168-unfair Unfortunately for Lazer Pony]], the others do ''not'' accept his blindness as an excuse this time.)
* PlotArmor: It's an actual product.
* PokeThePoodle:
** Bad Good Girl's idea of being bad is this. She's pretty rusty from lack of practice.
** Josie, the Witch that fancies herself as Buckaress's nemesis starts the hostilities by... preventing her coffee from cooling. She then steps up the game with flying spatulas and inflicting athlete's foot.
* PostKissCatatonia: [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=288-protection Distracterella's kiss is just as distracting as her looks.]]
* PowerIncontinence: [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=039-we-need-duct-tape Lazer Pony sneezing]], among other things.
* PubertySuperpower: [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=026-gyrognome-origin Gyrognome]]'s superpowers first arose at age 112. Apparently, gnomes live a long time.
* {{Pun}}: Done a lot. [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=057-punishment The Punishment]] tries and stop this, but his name...
* PunchCatch: Mary-Sue can catch Apocalizard's fist [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=466-gesture casually and without looking]], despite the supervillain being three times her size.
* PunchClockVillain: Supervillainy is more of a hobby for Josie than anything. She antagonizes Buckaress out of jealousy, but isn't evil or [[PokeThePoodle even particularly malicious]] most of the time.
* PunnyName:
** The acronym for the eponymous league: [=LoSRH=].
** Flying-Fox Man, the resident Batman expy. Flying fox is another name for a genus of bats.
* PyrrhicVillainy: Distracterella's gang manages to rob a bank, get away with the loot, and humiliate Asstronomous by causing him to crash into a building. Unfortunately for them, [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=149-consequences this gets them upgraded]] from the "Ignore List" to the "Top Priority List". Oops.
* RageQuit: [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=332-anger When Bulk rage-quits, you can expect property damage.]]
* RealityEnsues: A common form of humor from the strips. For example:
** Sorry, Mr. Jackson, but taking a crazy risk [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=208-consequences doesn't always pay off]].
** A supervillain once manages to successfully tie all the limbs of the Spider-Man {{Expy}} so that he can't attack him. He then taunts him about not being able to shoot web out of his hands. Part of the taunt involves a mention about real spiders being seemingly able to shoot web out of their anus. [[TemptingFate You can see how well that ends up for said supervillain]].
** A parody strip tells a story of a man who loved crayfish so much that he used to catch them in the river all the time. Eventually, he put on a lobster costume and called himself the "Cray-Crayfish man", not because he gained mutant lobster powers, but because he went insane after fishing for Crayfish in a stream full of toxic waste for a while.
** A Wolverine {{Expy}} Once tries to cling to a wall with his claws. All that it accomplishes is deep scratch marks within the wall due to him being too heavy for his claws to support himself.
** A super once demonstrates that he can jump so high, he can wind himself into space with a single leap. However, since BatmanCanBreatheInSpace is averted within this strip....
** Kurgh the Conquerer managed to successfully seize control over Shitropolis. He now has to suffer the total monotony of dealing with mayoral politics.
** When you travel through time, make sure you also travel through space to land somewhere safe. [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=178-universal-expansion Or somewhere at all.]]
** When the Hulk expy tries to lift something super heavy, he ends up in the ground, since it isn't strong enough to support all the weight.
* ReallyGetsAround: [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=040-old-enemies "How many boyfriends have you stolen!?"]]
* ReasonableAuthorityFigure: [[ActionPolitician Kurgh the Conqueror]] seems to be the only person able to somehow handle the awful mess that is Shitropolis.
* RedEyesTakeWarning: When Good Girl's eyes turn red and her halo is removed, that means Bad Good Girl is in control.
* RepetitiveName: Phantom Ghost
* RequiredSecondaryPowers:
** Most heroes seem to have them, with [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=131-physics the exception of Bulk]].
** Lack of immunity to his own eye-lasers is also the reason Lazer Pony is blind.
* TheResenter: Buckaress feels like a screwup on learning that her best friend, Josie Perkins, is married to a successful man and having a baby, while Buckaress just lives off of Lazer Pony's rent money accomplishing nothing. And yet, ''Josie'' is the one who feels jealous, because Buckaress isn't weighed down by responsibilities. She proceeds to become a witch and start placing hexes on Buckaress to inconvenience and make her life miserable as "revenge".
* RightBehindMe: Being blind, Lazer Pony should be careful talking about Buckaress's boobs. Especially when she's [[SubvertedTrope right in front of him.]]
* RougeAnglesOfSatin: Artwork is the ''forte'' of the strip's creators. Spelling... not so much.
* RubeGoldbergMachine: They were [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=253-problem-solvers out of bendy straws]], after all.
* RunningGag: Once in a while, [[TemptingFate a male who is not Lazer Pony claims to be immune to]] [[DistractedByTheSexy Distracterella's power]], [[TemptingFate only to be proven wrong as soon as she actually]] ''[[TemptingFate tries]]'' [[TemptingFate to distract him]]. So far this has happened to:
** [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=strip-51 Bolfman_234]], who apparently created "anti-sexiness goggles" for himself and his minions, only to have them crack when he's informed of the [[BodyPaint nature of her suit]].
** And [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=148-the-escape Asstronomous]], who instead boasts about his willpower and manages to last one whole panel... until Distracterella removes two of her pasties.
** [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=288-protection Asstronomous does it twice]]. [[GenreSavvy This time his willpower is augmented by anti-sexiness goggles]]. Then Distracterella leaves him catatonic with a kiss.
* SarcasmBlind: Exaggerated with Lazer Pony. You'd think he'd realize that a superhero named "[[DeadpanSnarker Sarcasmo]]" is being sarcastic to him when he says he's a great hero solely because of Sarcasmo's name, but nope.
* ShaggyDogStory: The very first arc has Lazer Pony and Good Girl trying to stop Distracterella and Evil Savant from destroying a broadcast antenna. Lazer Pony ends up destroying it himself with his bad aim, and then it turns out that the antenna was no longer in use and was due to be taken down the following week anyway, so even if the heroes had thwarted the villains, it still wouldn't have accomplished anything.
* SkywardScream:
** Bolfman_234 makes a skyward BigNo when Distracterella destroys the hard drive where he stored all the footage of Good Girl being an InnocentFanserviceGirl.
** He lets out another one on finding out that Buckaress has switched costumes for a less revealing one.
* SpitTrailKiss: [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=165-perception Hard to see,]] but there is a spit trail after Distracterella (disguised as Good Girl) kisses Lazer Pony.
* StrawCharacter: The judge in charge of Good Girl's court trial is a conservative religious nut-case who hates liberals and holds a KangarooCourt.
* {{Stripperiffic}}:
** Distracterella's outfit consists of three pasties and BodyPaint.
** Buckaress's original cowgirl outfit (which was actually a Halloween costume meant for a small child). She is eventually pushed into wearing something more practical.
* StuffedIntoTheFridge: Subverted. When Josie attacked Buckaress and Alex, [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=469- one of her mummy-ninjas got in a lucky hit on Alex]], causing Buckaress to think she'd died. Turns out, [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=477-convenience the mummy's sword had just activated her P.L.O.T. Armor's "Convenience" feature]]. It decided that the most convenient thing to do was let Buckaress think Alex was dead (for some reason...).
* SuperHeroOrigin: Shown for [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=distracterella-origin Distracterella]], [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=good-girl-origin Good Girl]], [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=strip-6 Lazer Pony]], [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=008-evil-savant-origin The Evil Savant]], [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=011-bolfman-origin Bolfman_234]], [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=013-keith-origin Keith]], [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=026-gyrognome-origin Gyrognome]] and [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=034 Cat-A-Pult]].
* SuperSpeed: One of Mary-Sue's numerous superpowers.
* SuperZeroes: The entire cast (save Keith, who's just TheSlacker).
* TalkingToTheDead: [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=276-paying-respects Subverted with Flying-Fox Man]]. Despite being a Batman expy, [[spoiler:his parents are not dead, and when seen talking to a grave under the rain, he is actually making a phone call with an unseen earpiece]].
* TemptingFate: Often.
** A man claiming to be able to resist [[DistractedByTheSexy Distracterella's powers]] has reached the status of RunningGag.
** Lazer Pony stating "Nothing in this universe is going to stop us from enjoying this!" about the concert he's been waiting for a whole year. Cue teleportation to another universe for a cosmic emergency.
* ThereAreNoTherapists:
** [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=098-insecurities Averted.]] [[DeadpanSnarker Sarcasmo]] in his civilian identity is a therapist. He accurately diagnoses that Lazer Pony's biggest problem isn't his blindness but his stupidity.
** [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=336-diagnosis Mayor Kurgh enacts a policy]] that every super should have yearly psych evaluations to determine if there are risks of them turning evil.
* TitleDrop: Thanks to [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=056-redundant editorial creativity]] from Keith.
* TookALevelInBadass:
** Buckaress upgrades to a more practical outfit, gets over her throwing issues, and weaponizes her ability to set food on fire.
** After performing enough good deeds, Good Girl literally levels up and acquires the ability to transform into an angel.
* TransformationIsAFreeAction: Played straight and joked about. Even though the lengthy transformation time ''isn't'' just artistic license, the bad guys will actually wait for such heroes to finish and [[WillingSuspensionOfDisbelief won't question it]].
* TropaholicsAnonymous: Good Girl joins [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=130-common-problem a support group for heroes having a problem with one-liners]].
* TwoLinesNoWaiting: The comic alternates between strips that advance a plot arc and ones that are one-shot jokes.
* UnfortunateNames: Lazer Pony's real last name is "Popcorn".
* UnusuallyUninterestingSight: An office building is staffed with superheroes, but ThoseTwoGuys at the water cooler have no apparent idea despite the PaperThinDisguise they use.
* WantonCrueltyToTheCommonComma: Many strips (particularly early ones) demonstrate a limited grasp of the English language. Grammar, punctuation, and spelling errors abound.
* WellThisIsNotThatTrope: [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=good-girl-origin Good Girl's backstory.]] It looks like the backstory of a villain or AntiHero until it abruptly switches focus to a different person entirely.
* WhatDidYouExpectWhenYouNamedIt: Flying-Fox Man shouldn't be so surprised that he'd lost a lot of sidekicks... {{ahem}}... "crime-solving junior partners" when you consider that they were all named "[[DumbDodoBird Dodo]]"...
* WhatKindOfLamePowerIsHeartAnyway: Nearly every single power falls into this category, being either ridiculously overspecialized, extremely narrow in focus, coming with a crippling downside or just being plain stupid.
* WhoWritesThisCrap: Mayor Kurgh objects strongly to using the pun "MayorPain", asking who wrote this and demanding a new speech writer.
* WhyDidItHaveToBeSnakes: Lazer Pony is deathly afraid of spiders. Good thing he can't see them, because whenever clued in there is a spider around, he starts randomly firing his EyeBeams. Luckily for Arachnid Dude, he had no idea what the word "Arachnid" meant for a long while.
* WorthIt: [[http://superredundant.com/comics/2013-03-25-strip%20-%20221.jpg Buckaress while working as a waitress in a Hooters-style restaurant.]] She's even in the front image of the trope.
* YaoiFangirl: Buckaress's fanfiction of the Flying-Fox Man and Heckler features them with FoeRomanceSubtext and then a downright kiss.
* YouKeepUsingThatWord: When it's suggested that their new team cave be called "Redundant", Lazer Pony objects that this would only make sense if they had ''another'' cave they weren't using right now. As it so happens, ''they do''.
* YourCostumeNeedsWork: A variation occurs when Cat-A-Pult gets asked why his powers have a completely feline theme yet he wears a costume that makes him look like a monkey.
* YouWouldntLikeMeWhenImAngry: [[{{Expy}} Bulk]] [[http://superredundant.com/?comic=228-fair-warning paraphrases]] the TropeNamer before predictably HulkingOut.
* YuriFan: Keith's reaction to learning that Buckaress is in a lesbian relationship is that dreams really can come true.
