The story surrounds a phoenix name Dice, who is a scientist in a city called Eterno, and a dragon named Nine. Things begin when Nine kills a man, is subsequently captured by the police, and, [[FantasticRacism because he’s a dragon in the phoenix-controlled area of the city]], he’s given to a laboratory to be a guinea pig. It is here Nine and Dice meet.
