->I am Arthur Knowledge, [[TheChosenOne destined to be grand master of the Paladins of Hope]]. Along with my mentor Ivan Golarian, we review geek classics in a strange attempt to stem the tide against the [[TheEmpire Geekron Empire]] and [[BigBad Archon Nekros]]. Is this confusing? Sounding like a bad fanfic? Yeah, it probably is. But still, tune in for the fun ride in [[TitleDrop The Quest For Geekdom]].
-->'''Arthur''' Opening narration

Meet Arthur Knowledge, the Geek Apprentice. He hosts a review show exhibiting old, good geek classics that every geek should watch. However, Arthur himself is just beginning his geekdom, having never seen any of these films before. He breaks down their pros and cons, what makes them work and age so well, and why they have become such classics.

...at least, that was the plan. It soon becomes evident that an epic prophecy is unfolding behind the scenes of the show, with Arthur dead in the center. Devious forces work against him to destroy the geekverse with the power of Hate, and only Arthur, destined to become the Geekvere's saviour, can stop them.

A few episodes in the series was [[ReTool re-tooled]] to be less plot heavy and have shorter episodes, due to the growing pressure on Arthur and Ivan in their personal lives. Though there is still an overarching story, it takes aback seat to the reviews themselves and the comedy.

He also had a short series on EDM called Beatdrop, as well as miniseries' on Horror Films and the Franchise/DCAU. These and the main Quest for Geekdom videos can be found [[http://www.reviewersunknown.com/category/arthur/ here]], and [[http://geekvision.tv/channels/arthur-knowledge/ here]], and [[{{Geekvision}} here]]!

* SoBadItsGood: Their opinion of ''Film/BatmanAndRobin''.
* SomethingCompletelyDifferent: His review of ''Film/{{Halloween 1978}}'' featured no jokes, only a review of the film and horror elements in the form of Razor.
* StraightGay: Ivan.
* SuperWristGadget: Matrix, though technically not worn on the wrist. It can work as a communicator, a scanning device, play different movies and relate them to the problem at hand, and...make people fabulous.
* TakeThat: "Literature/{{Twilight}}! Aaaah!"
** "Vampires do not work that way! Goodnight!"
* TemptingFate:
** Whenever Arthur mentions something cool happening to a character in WesternAnimation/TheTransformersMovie, they die. Much to his chagrin.
** The Film/DieHard review begins with Arthur complaining about it being too boring.

* TrainingMontage: As per his ''Karate Kid'' review, albeit in a much more geeky fashion.
* TransformationSequence: Revealing his geek colors (the [[{{Transformers}} Autobot logo]]) results in a brief and anticlimactic one.
* {{Troperiffic}}[=/=]TropesAreNotBad: Describes ''TheKarateKid'' this way.

* WeAreExperiencingTechnicalDifficulties: After Nekros calls off his and Arthur's battle, and Arthur starts freaking out.
* WeWillMeetAgain: Nekros pulls this at the end of the ''Film/MightyMorphinPowerRangersTheMovie'' review. Arthur [[GenreSavvy fully expects it, and will deal with it when it's a problem]].
* WhatAnIdiot: In-Universe--His reaction to Eckhart mouthing off to Jack in ''Film/{{Batman}}''. Also towards the crowds who go to Joker's rally in the same movie.
