->''"--where garbage comes to life.''"
-->-- ('''Erik Olund''''s video opener and slogan)

A CausticCritic's channel on the {{blip}} website. [[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin Living up to its name]], its main focus is to review, discuss, criticize and evaluate certain animated movies that are considered to be the worst to ever be made (e.g. ''{{Delgo}}'', ''WesternAnimation/HappilyNEverAfter''). Its sole host is Erik Olund (aka [=ShogunGin0=]), and many of his videos are filmed in one location; hence the videos themselves are rather simple and minimalistic yet informative and witty at the very same time.

Its first episode featured the "review" of the movie ''Happily N'Ever After'' on January 15, 2011. Erik's latest video to date was also in 2011 (June, to be exact), ending with a review of ''{{Doogal}}'', an infamous CGI film of ''TheMagicRoundabout''. Throughout the first season, the channel has only received little to moderate acclaim, though not so well known as other semi-obscure Caustic Critic channels out there (TVTrash, for example). It could be compared with ''Website/ThatGuyWithTheGlasses'' due to some visible influences (yeah, [[StealthPun Erik Olund himself has glasses]], but that's just a mere coincidence now) but what makes the channel different was that it has, so far, focused on animated films that are rather obscure. Therefore, less on the nostalgia (despite how old some of the stuff Erik reviews is), but more on the animation's SuckinessIsPainful-''[[BuffySpeak ism]]''.

After a one and a half year hiatus, [[http://thatguywiththeglasses.com/blogs/latest/entry/shogunginos-infamous-animation Erik announced that he will be resuming the series.]] The brand new season premiered on December 7, 2012 with a review of ''WesternAnimation/TheLegendOfTheTitanic'' which you can see [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C8sOwXvAI88 here.]]

!!Provides examples of:
* BerserkButton: He ''really'' hates bad animated movement, poorly-made CG models, and points out the tiniest animation mistakes that a casual viewer could care less about. Naturally, he's taking animation classes.
* BileFascination: {{Invoked}} by the movies. It's the whole point of why this channel exists.
* CausticCritic
* DeadpanSnarker: Well, of course.
* GeniusBruiser
* [[invoked]]HeyItsThatVoice: Subverted [[InUniverse in Erik's review]] of ''TheElmChantedForest'', when he mentions that one of the characters sounds a lot like [[{{Disney/PeterPan}} Mr. Smee]], only to conclude that Bill Thompson died years before the film was made, and that the actual voice actor was merely a sound-alike.
* LimitedWardrobe: Erik doesn't seem to wear anything else besides a dark grey jacket.
* SugarWiki/NeedsMoreLove:[[invoked]] As mentioned before, most of the stuff he reviews are barely well remembered and not so well known. Since this '''is''' ''Infamous Animation'' (and the trope name applied to them would be "Needs More Hate") we're talking about, this is {{justified|Trope}}.
* OneManBand: The credits contain only his name as writer, producer, and director.
* OneOfUs: Very much so. Erik casually uses tropes in his videos, to the point where fellow Tropers will understand some of his criticisms a lot better than others. To give you an idea, he uses "{{Bowdlerize}}" in his ''Ten Commandments'' video with only concept to explain to term to anyone unfamiliar with it. In another video, he namedrops TV Tropes...to explain how the script to ''Delgo'' was written.
* ScheduleSlip: While he did say that there will be a ''WesternAnimation/{{Tentacolino}}'' review to conclude the animated Titanic reviews which was supposed to be of three parts, a year has passed and nothing came up, save for the explanation why that is so which can be seen [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2207Dpxs6YI here in this video]], revealing that it's in DevelopmentHell among other issues.
* ShortRunner: It initially looked to be an OrphanedSeries territory, but...
** UnCancelled: It took him a while (one and a half years to be exact), [[http://thatguywiththeglasses.com/blogs/latest/entry/shogunginos-infamous-animation but Erik finally confirmed that new episodes are on the way.]]
* DarthWiki/SoBadItsHorrible: Erik's watched more than his fair share of bad animated movies, but this trope is his opinion of ''TheElmChantedForest'', ''Film/TheTenCommandments'' (2007), and ''TitanicTheLegendGoesOn''.
