A [[WebcomicsLongRunners long-running]] [[FurryComic furry webcomic]] drawn by Chalosan and written by [=SoulKat=]. [[MyFriendsAndZoidberg And that ID_Fox guy.]]

The story is a SliceOfLife that revolves around [[GoodBadGirl Mora Linda]], who inherits her family's farmland after the death of her mother Diana. At first attempting to manage the farm on her own, she quickly realizes that she will need help, and goes out to recruit some more workers. Things are complicated when an old rival shows up and tries to run Mora out of business.

The comic can be found on ''Webcomic/TheKatbox'', which hosts this comic [[http://www.katbox.net here]], along with Webcomic/TheEyeOfRamalach, Caribbean Blue, and Anthronauts. The main comic, as well as some of the side comics and supplemental material, contains occasional {{NSFW}} material.

Generally updates on a week with the main comic and one bonus comic, but tends to slip due to the usual hassles of life.

%%* AbsoluteCleavage: Most of the females are guilty of this at different points of the comic.
* AbusiveParents: In Taffy's backstory, her mother beats her ''for getting her hair dyed''.
%%* ActionGirl: Joy Ravenhurs.
%%* AmusingInjuries: Miles is a master of this.
* AnimalStereotypes: In one page, Sarah mentions she hates water because she's a cat.
* AnguishedDeclarationOfLove: [[spoiler:Tootsie finally forces herself to tell Alej that she loves her]].
* AprilFoolsDay: Every year since the comic's inception, they've had a joke comic on this day. In fact, the very first joke comic was considered a real comic for so long, it eventually had to be labeled an April Fools' comic just to clear up the confusion.
* AlcoholHic: Mora and Patches sit down and proceed to [[http://laslindas.katbox.net/comic/a-toast/ imbibe]]
%%* AreYouPonderingWhatImPondering complete with a ShoutOut to ''WesternAnimation/PinkyAndTheBrain'' on the last panel of [[http://laslindas.katbox.net/?p=397 this page]].
* ArtisticLicenseLaw: Mora forces Miles to work on her farm by posing as a prostitute, luring him home and beating him unconscious with a frying pan. She tells him that since he thought she was a hooker, if she tells the police, he'd go to prison. When sex is solicited illegally, both parties are culpable- IF they lose their trials. Also: this is enticement, assault-and-battery, extortion, and enslavement - plus perjury if she were to get caught in any lies. To be fair, she was probably bluffing.
* ArmedWithCanon: It's a little more subtle than most canon fights, but there's some pulling and tugging behind the scenes, as ID, [=SoulKat=], and Chalo all have rather different ideas for where the comic should go. [=SoulKat=] usually pulls the most ExecutiveMeddling and takes away ID's canon ammo, but since Chalo's the artist he can usually get the last laugh just by drawing it the way he wants it to go.
* ArtEvolution: Chalo's art has improved in practically every area since the strip's beginnings. Naturally folks argue about whether any given arc has a dip in quality.
* AscendedExtra: Idward was originally meant to be a one-shot character used purely for comic relief. However, he was later reinstated into the comic during the Harvest Festival arc, and eventually became a main character.
* AscendedFanboy: Sage Freehaven. It all started when he won a cameo contest. Fast forward to the present day, and he had what amounts to an entire arc of "Breasts Are the Best" dedicated to beautiful girls fighting over him. He is currently the canon love interest of Tila Sunrise.
* AttemptedRape: Mora is assaulted by a group of workers in one of the earliest installments of the comic. They get as far as removing her top... [[spoiler: [[BigDamnHeroes and then Minos shows up]].]]
%%* TheAtoner: Apparently [[spoiler:Minos]] falls under this because of [[spoiler:his]] past.
* AuthorAvatar: Miles and Idward are avatars of [=SoulKat=] and ID_Fox, respectively. Chalo has also drawn himself within the comic, but only as a CreatorCameo.
%%* BarefootCartoonAnimal
* BerserkButton:
** People who make Sarah when Rachael is around end up with serious trouble on their hands.
%%** Minos apparently used to have one in some form as well, a fact that he's deeply ashamed of.
* BewareTheNiceOnes: [[http://laslindas.katbox.net/index.php?strip_id=194 Sarah]] and [[http://laslindas.katbox.net/index.php?strip_id=206 Taffy]].
%%* BigEater: Tiggs again.
%%* BodyPaint: Angel.
%%* BollywoodNerd: Tiare.
* {{Bowdlerise}}: The pages "Nice Smell" and "Clothes" originally featured Geckuu going full nips. But it was eventually edited to have [[SceneryCensor leaves]] and [[GodivaHair hair]] cover them.
%%* BrainyBrunette: Tiare, once again. Sammy combines this with traces of {{Badass Bookworm}} and {{Cloud Cuckoolander}} at times.
* BreakingTheFourthWall: In one panel, Sarah questions what other people Ambar's story will inform. Ambar replies with "oh, everyone!" and smiles over her shoulder, looking directly out of the panel. Maybe not so much breaking it as using one of those diamond-tipped circle cutting whatchamadads to stealthily cut a hole through it.
* BreakTheHaughty: At one point in Learning Curves, Vixy crashes a party hosted at Davin's place, talks trash about his "quarterback slut" girlfriends, and states her plans to seduce him. [[LaserGuidedKarma His girlfriends respond appropriately]]. To say nothing of Alej's "wardrobe malfunction".
%%* BrickJoke: Minos' gophers.
* TheBusCameBack: Idward had a conversation with Sarah [[http://laslindas.katbox.net/comic/little-hero/ in late 2010...]] and then vanished utterly until July 2014. He was hiding in the basement.
* ButtMonkey: Amusingly, despite his AuthorAvatar status, Miles tends to be the character who gets comically injured the most. And if you're curious why, [[http://elfonlyinn.comicgenesis.com/d/20021127.html this Elf Only Inn]] comic provides some insight.
* TheCameo: Several forumites have had cameos in Las Lindas and its bonus arcs; the forum runs cameo contests from time to time that allows for someone to win a cameo in the comic of their choice by producing an edit of an existing strip that most amuses the comic's creators. The winners so far are:
** [[http://laslindas.katbox.net/index.php?strip_id=157 Guno]] (Winner #1; the girl leading Miles off)
** [[http://laslindas.katbox.net/bonus_boobs/index.php?strip_id=9 Zarmir]] (Winner #2; the bartender)
** [[http://laslindas.katbox.net/bonus_dames/index.php?strip_id=4 Sage Freehaven]] (Winner #3; the merchant)
** [[http://laslindas.katbox.net/index.php?strip_id=208 Dingo]] (Winner #4; the guy behind the register)
** [[http://laslindas.katbox.net/bonus_curve/index.php?strip_id=9 Fyxe]] (Winner #5; the girl with breasts that are huge even for ''Las Lindas'')
** Bad x Ash (Winner #6; his cameo has not yet happened)
** [[http://laslindas.katbox.net/bonus_boobs/index.php?strip_id=19 Greycat R.]] (Winner #7; the guy resembling Idward in the first frame)
*** Uber-popular furry artist Jessica Elwood's fursona has also made several cameo appearances, mainly because she's a close friend of Chalo.
* CanonWelding: Chalo has fully incorporated Kate and the other characters from his Neo Earth Realm/Crest saga, which he began in 2002, into ''Las Lindas'' since it started in 2004.
* CatchPhrase:
** Miles' "CRIPES!" whenever he's on the butt end of a joke or otherwise gets [[AmusingInjuries hurt]]. This reaches a new level of hilarity when this word is his reaction to WALKING OFF THE EDGE OF A CLIFF.
** There's also Taffy's adorably flustered cry of, "Oh, raspberries!"
** SK seems to be trying to turn "awesome" into Miles' new word in an attempt to get everyone to realize how "awesome" he believes Miles to be. Instead he's just making Miles sound like Michael Bay.
*** And now his thing seems to be calling every girl he talks to "babe". This has proven to be even more grating to most than his "awesome" phase.
%%* CatFight: Mora and Rachael have a pretty big one later in the comic.
%%* CharacterDevelopment: One of the central themes of the comic.
* CharacterFocus: Each of the bonus comics focus on one or two of the characters in the main comic, while the main comic features arcs that focus on certain characters at certain points in the story.
%%* CloudCuckoolander: Sarah, so very much.
* CoolAndUnusualPunishment: Alej's punishment for attempting to "steal" Sage from Tila in "Breasts Are the Best"? Stripped, chained and subjected to a cold shower. [[LesYay With Tootsie]].
%%* CoolBigSis: Rachael to Sarah. Taffy also to a certain degree.
%%* CovertPervert: Certain character topics in the forums show Ambar having traits of this.
* CrossOver: The comic occasionally has small non-canon sideplots with the other Katbox comics, usually around certain holidays (especially Halloween).
* DarkAndTroubledPast: Many character's pasts sucked to some degree, but Minos gets special mention [[spoiler:since he used to work for the BigBad of the universe.]]
* DarkSkinnedBlond: [[HotScientist Tootsie Roswell]] qualifies for this, having gray fur and blond hair.
* DarkSkinnedRedhead: Ambar has traits of this, with brown fur and red hair.
%%* DatingServiceDisaster: Digit accidentally sets Taffy on a series of these.
* DeadpanSnarker: Miles, Mora and Rachael do this now and then. Alejandra comes a little closer since she spends most of her time deadpan, and only rarely lets her temper get the better of her.
%%* DeathGlare : Mora gives quite an impressive one on [[http://laslindas.katbox.net/?p=503 page 250]]
* {{Deconstruction}}:
%%** Of the InferredHolocaust with the aftermath of the "Emperor vs Earth" backstory, and arguably of the UnknownRival with Alej.
** The Primes as a whole mildly deconstruct the concept of "anthro races". In most media with anthros, they tend to be almost identical, or at least very similar, to humans. The Primes, on the other hand, have their own unique history, culture, beliefs, political system, etc.
* {{Determinator}}: The Emperor. He chased the Primes (the anthro animals of the comic) all the way to Earth simply because they left his iron-fisted rule.
* DeusExMachina:
%%** Ambar pretty much personifies this trope, to the point where [=SoulKat=] intentionally tries to keep her out of the story.
** Minos had a big problem with this as well, having a tendency to show up and resolve any situations with either a MegatonPunch or solemnly-delivered "wisdom".
*** [[http://laslindas.katbox.net/comic/las-lindas/second-chance/ The plane]] is a plot element that came right out of nowhere to magically end Miles' troubles, letting him keep his horrible attitude and not learn anything, and--judging by the dialogue--convincing everyone else in the cast that he's AWESOME. While Minos has to be made less wise and Ambar has to stop showing up in the main comic altogether to prevent more Deus Ex Machina from happening.
%%* DiabolusExMachina: Hey, looks like things are looking up for the farm now that they've won the Harvest Festival! Wait, what are Din and Jin telling Sarah to do? ...OhCrap.
%%* DisneyDeath: [[spoiler:Digit]] experienced one.
%%* DisappearedDad: Mora's, as revealed [[http://laslindas.katbox.net/?p=1086 here]].
* DistractedByTheSexy: Miles was unable to figure out Mora's true intentions of making him work for her in the beginning of the comic due to her flaunting her sex appeal at him.
%%* DrivesLikeCrazy: [[http://laslindas.katbox.net/archive/watch-the-road/ Tootsie.]]
%%* DysfunctionJunction: Not as bad as most examples, but its still there.
%%* EveryoneCallsHimBarkeep: The Emperor.
* EvenEvilHasStandards: When Alejandra is about to start construction near the Las Lindas farm, [[spoiler: she actually stops at the last moment after learning the starting point was actually Diana's grave. Needless to say, the executives that she works with questioned her decision until she pointed that very fact out.]]
%%* EveryoneCanSeeIt: It's ''not'' [[http://laslindas.katbox.net/archive/its-not/ a date!]] Except [[http://laslindas.katbox.net/archive/it-is-what-it-is/ it is.]]
* EvilRedhead: Din turns into this when [[spoiler: she and Jin trick [[CloudCuckoolander Sarah]] into nearly killing Digit.]]
* ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin: See MeaningfulName
* {{Expy}}: By Chalo's own admission, the main girls. Chalo once stated on the forum that Mora, Taffy, Rachael and Sarah are directly modeled, in behaviour and character type (and in Rachael's case, design), after ''Manga/LoveHina'' characters Naru, Mutsumi, Motoko and Kaolla.
* TheFairFolk: Din and Jin fit this perfectly.
%%* {{Fanservice}}: The comic practically runs on it. Hell, the most popular bonus arc is "Breasts Are the Best", a non-canon arc that is fueled by fanservice.
%%** The men get in on it [[http://laslindas.katbox.net/archive/advice/ too.]]
%%* FanserviceWithASmile: Many female characters have their moments, but Taffy would qualify the most, considering her cheerful personality.
%%* FieryRedhead: Ann, Din, Vixy, and Ambar.
%%* FiveManBand:
%%** TheHero: Mora
%%** TheLancer: Miles
%%** [[TheSmartGuy The Smart Girl]]: Rachael
%%** TheBigGuy: Minos
%%** TheChick: Taffy
%%** TheSixthRanger: Sarah
%%* ForTheEvulz: Din and Jin's [[spoiler: manipulation of Sarah in order to try and kill Digit.]]
* FourthDateMarriage: [[spoiler: Cocoa]] gets engaged after only three months of dating.
* FourthWallMailSlot: The forums have a section where readers can ask questions to the cast. They can actually be quite informative (and funny) sometimes.
** It's through this forum that Ambar gained a good amount of her popularity with the strip's fans; since she appears only rarely in the actual comic, the forum gave the Katbox Krew the chance to use her as a way to answer questions about Neo Earth and the Primes, as well as questions about Ambar herself.
%%* FriendlyTickleTorture: [[http://laslindas.katbox.net/index.php?strip_id=63 The]] [[http://www.katbox.net/gallery/main.php?g2_itemId=177 Ticklebug]] between Sarah and Rachael.
%%* FunnyBackgroundEvent: During [[http://laslindas.katbox.net/archive/kabooom/ this page.]]
* FurryConfusion: [[http://laslindas.katbox.net/index.php?strip_id=73 "I'm not a cow!"]] To say nothing of the fact that Alejandra, who for all intents and purposes looks like a cow, runs a ''dairy factory''.
** [[http://laslindas.katbox.net/index.php?strip_id=244 Went over a bit here]] in TheRant. Chalo points out that the Primes, being foreign to Earth, aren't related to wildlife. Still a bit jarring to see a anthromorphic antelope around your standard Earth antelope.
%%* GagBoobs:
%%** Tila Sunrise.
%%** Also Mora, Alejandra, and Nina.
%%* GenkiGirl: Sarah.
%%** [[http://laslindas.katbox.net/bonus_boobs/index.php?strip_id=7 Also, Geecku.]]
%%* GlassesGirl: Alejandra and [[HotScientist Tiare.]]
* AGodAmI:
** Idward gets a little carried away and declares this on his island sojourn. Hilarity or injuries would've been sure to ensue if the bonus comic this trope happened in hadn't been [[AbortedArc canceled]]. However, it seems the comic is still canon, as the further events that would have happened are explained in the main comic.
** The Emperor, who in the duration of its career killed several gods.
%%* GoodBadGirl: Mora.
%%* GroinAttack: Miles learned the hard way never to get between Sarah and her birthday presents. He also learned that Sarah may not be the brightest, but she knows when someone's giving her breasts unwanted ogling.
* HalloweenCosplay: This has happened for a few years, and usually involves the other Katbox comics in some way. In 2009, the ''Las Lindas'' cast was drawn to resemble [[http://www.katbox.net/gallery/main.php?g2_itemId=1005 a movie poster for ''Army of Darkness''.]]
%%* HairAntennae: Sarah.
%%* HighlyVisibleNinja: The ninja in [[http://laslindas.katbox.net/bonus_knight/index.php?strip_id=9 this comic]] doesn't even bother to hide after finding what he's after.
* HimeCut: Rachael, as part of her {{Expy}} package. [[spoiler: Her background also contributes to this, as she actually comes from a very high-class family.]]
%%* HollywoodKiss: Between [[spoiler: Randal and Taffy]].
* HotForStudent: Bonus comic "Learning Curves" features a relationship between college teacher Sammy and college student Toby.
%%* HotLibrarian: Alejandra may not ''be'' a librarian, but she has all of the other physical attributes to qualify for this.
%%* HotScientist: Tiare and Tootsie fall under this category.
%%* HotTeacher: Sammi, no doubt about it.
%%* HugeSchoolGirl: Tiggs all the way.
%%* HurricaneOfEuphemisms: Done by Miles and Toby at the end of [[http://laslindas.katbox.net/bonus_curve/index.php?strip_id=19 this]] Learning Curves comic. (NSFW)
* HypocriticalHumor:
-->'''Digit:''' Oh get real... flying magical nymphs? And we're going to get their secrets from a game manual? That's too weird to be real.
-->'''Sarah:''' And you're a flying white ghosty thing who lives in a gem and is powered by '''love.'''
** To be fair, Digit is technology that only appears supernatural.
%%* IdiotBall: This was seemingly glued to Sarah when Din and Jin were manipulating her.
%%* IdolSinger: Hope
* IgnoredEpiphany: [[http://laslindas.katbox.net/istrip_files/strips/20091116.jpg Miles]], after seemingly realizing how badly he's screwed up his own life, apparently decides once again that he doesn't need to change anything about his less-than-admirable lifestyle or his toxic personality, the world needs to start changing for him because he's so perfect and awesome. That's right, folks - after that sappy faux NiceGuy speech about "changing for the better" at the end of the Mall arc, he clearly states that he's the same JerkAss he's always been and that he intends to keep being this way.
** Earlier, we had Alej during the climax of the Harvest Festival arc. Her response to Mora saying she never wanted their rivalry and that she genuinely wants to be friends with her again? Rant and rave about the "injustice" of the situation and how her factory is the best thing ever. [[BreakTheHaughty Karma quickly bites her]].
* IHaveBoobsYouMustObey: Mora seduces Miles in the beginning of the comic and eventually makes him a worker at her farm.
* ImplacableMan: The Emperor is implied to have been one in the backstory. Even with the power of the Crests, it still took the direct intervention of a god to stop him from destroying everything, and even ''then'' there was considerable collateral damage to clean up.
%%* IntelligenceEqualsIsolation: Tiare is... not a people person.
%%* {{Internal Consistency}}/{{Ret Con}}: The shapeshifting towel (between [[http://laslindas.katbox.net/bonus_crest/index.php?strip_id=8 here]] and [[http://laslindas.katbox.net/bonus_crest/index.php?strip_id=11 here]])
* InterspeciesRomance: It's pretty common actually. [[StalkerWithACrush Idward]] who's a fox, has had this with Mora who's a cow, and [[QuestForSex Miles]] who's a cat has had this with [[TheChick Taffy]] who's a rabbit.
** And now [[spoiler: Randal, a border collie, with Taffy.]]
* InVinoVeritas: In BB, Taffy manifests a completely different persona while drunk, and calls herself [[SplitPersonality Ria]].
* ItsAllAboutMe: This is how Miles' mind works.
* {{Jailbait}}: Sarah, lampshaded by Mora [[http://laslindas.katbox.net/comic/las-lindas/men-are-from-mars/ here.]]
--> "How can she look like '''that''' and be so innocent?"
%%* JerkAss:
%%** Miles.
%%** Mora has a tendency of sometimes falling into this category.
%%* JerkassHasAPoint: Often, one of the above jerks or more will get chewed out by another jerk and [[CrowningMomentOfAwesome it will be glorious.]]
%%* JerkWithAHeartOfGold:
%%** Mora and Rachael.
%%** Alejandra seems to cross between this and RichBitch.
%%** Miles to a degree.
* KarmaHoudini: Din and Jin [[spoiler:manipulate Sarah into almost killing Digit and send Miles into a trancelike state that results in him falling off a cliff, and their actions by extension cause a sizeable amount of fire-related damage to the farm and lead to Rachael almost drowning. With absolutely no repercussions.]]
%%** Unless, of course, [[spoiler:Idward manages to put two and two together.]]
%%** [[spoiler: Sarah and Digit are planning to hunt them down but Din & Jin found them first.]]
** Mora has done a number of things she's never been punished or even faced with the threat of punishment for since the beginning when she seduced, assaulted and blackmailed Miles.
%%* KickTheDog: Many of Miles' detractors see his actions during the Harvest Festival as an example.
%%* KillTheCutie: [[spoiler:Din and Jin attempt to do this to Digit using Sarah.]]
* LampshadeHanging: This exchange from Breasts Are The Best.
-->'''Ailana:''' How do you tan with white ''fur'' all over you?
-->'''Vixy:''' ''Very'' carefully.
%%* LargeAndInCharge: The Emperor, though since it was a "history lesson" by Ambar, that instance may have been for dramatic effect.
* LeftHanging: At the end of the harvest festival arc, [[spoiler: [[http://laslindas.katbox.net/comic/the-end-of-the-end/ an unknown party discovers that Sarah is alive. We haven't heard from them since.]]]]
%%* LaserGuidedKarma: How ''else'' would you explain Miles' string of terrible luck?
* LethalChef: To say Randal tends to overspice his cooking would be a pretty big understatement.
%%* LionsAndTigersAndHumansOhMy: Not that we see the humans all that often.
* LittleNo: Delivered by [[http://laslindas.katbox.net/archive/no/ Tootsie to Alej]] when she tells her [[spoiler: she needs to give up on her revenge plans against Mora.]]
* ALoadOfBull: Minos.
* LoadsAndLoadsOfCharacters: Between the regular cast in the main comic to all the other characters across the various side comics, it's a wonder that any of them manage to get any development.
%%* MadScientist: Tootsie, in spades.
%%* MagicFromTechnology: Lampshaded by Digit [[http://laslindas.katbox.net/index.php?strip_id=128 here]].
%%* MaleGaze: Lots, especially in the Breasts are the Best comics.
%%* MamaBear: Ambar, both literally and figuratively.
%%* ManChild: Sarah Silkie.
%%* MarshmallowHell: In [[http://laslindas.katbox.net/bonus_dames/index.php?strip_id=3 this Dungeons and Dames comic.]]
%%* MeaningfulName: The title is Spanish for "The Beauties".
* MoodWhipLash: It's a proven fact that Miles getting hurt is a great way to alleviate stress from the [[CerebusSyndrome darker]] moments.
* MoralDissonance: Miles personifies this trope. He demands the world's respect and gives none in return.
%%** Almost all the characters tend to have this problem (if not the same reaction/circunstances) which seems to be a trend in many [[Webcomic/DanAndMabsFurryAdventures furry]] [[Webcomic/TwoKinds webcomics]]. It can be kinda [[CrapsaccharineWorld unsettling]] when you realize it.
%%* MsFanservice: Practically every single female character qualifies as this in some way, with the exception of Taffy's mom (and the ''possible'' exception of Digit).
%%** Digit is the TokenMiniMoe...
* {{Nanomachines}}: Nano-zells, which are what Digit and the other Resident Spirits are made of.
* NoBiochemicalBarriers: Played mostly straight. While Primes and Humans ''can'' have children together, it's apparently not very easy, making "hybrids" fairly rare.
** This also applies between different Prime species, with any possible hybrids having only superficial physical distinctions (eg. Joy from the Knighthood side-comic).
* NonMammalMammaries: Averted since despite looking like a lizard Geechu explains in 'Ask the High Prime' that she is a mammal like all Primes, and then proceeds to 'prove it'.
* NotADate: Randall and Taffy insist they ''[[http://laslindas.katbox.net/archive/its-not/ aren't]]'' going on a date together... and admit they ''are'' on the [[http://laslindas.katbox.net/archive/it-is-what-it-is/ next page]]
* NotBloodSiblings: Mora and Randal have a pretend wedding in the now-defunct bonus comic "Simpler Times".
** Also Sarah and Rachael, who actually refer to each other as "sis".
* NotSoHarmlessVillain: Din and Jin definitely qualify after [[spoiler:tricking Sarah into thinking they were kindly wish-granting fairies and convincing her to help them nearly kill Digit and destroy the farm.]] On top of this, only three of the characters even know they exist, everyone Digit told about them thought she was making stuff up, and Idward never suspected they were capable of doing what they did.
%%* TheNudifier: The Glorps in "Dungeons and Dames".
%%* ObliviouslyEvil: Din and Jin's shenanigans become a lot less funny once [[spoiler:they almost kill Digit, giggling all the way.]]
* OhCrap: [[spoiler:Din and Jin, upon being cornered by Digit.]]
* OnlyKnownByTheirNickname: Din and Jin never refer to anyone by their real names, instead using nicknames (i.e. "The Golem" for Minos and "The Great Artist" for Idward).
** Taffy's real name is [[spoiler: Ria.]]
** Tiggs real name is [[spoiler: Traci Biggs.]] Apparently, she doesn't seem to be able to make the connection.
%%* OnlySaneMan: Most of the characters take turns being one, but Minos and Taffy usually count the most.
* OnlySixFaces: The faces of most of the characters tend to gravitate towards "cat" regardless of what species the creature in question is actually supposed to be.
* OrphanedSeries: Several bonus arcs have been cancelled since they became a fixture of the comic's schedule; this was done partially to lighten artist Chalosan's workload, and partially because the cancelled arcs just weren't pulling in donations.
%%* PimpedOutDress: This was the bread and butter of the [[http://laslindas.katbox.net/index.php?strip_id=141 Harvest]] [[http://laslindas.katbox.net/index.php?strip_id=142 Festival Arc]].
* {{Polyamory}}: Davin, and his relationship with Ann, Tiare, and Angel.
* PoorCommunicationKills: [[spoiler:If Alej had just told Mora the reason why she was angry at her, a ''lot'' of unpleasantness could have been avoided a lot sooner]].
* ProtagonistCenteredMorality: Alejandra is the villain for having her PetRat try to force Linda into moving out. Ambar is considered a good character for rigging a contest in Mora's favor.
* PstandardPsychicPstance: Subverted, in that while she doesn't use them often, there's never any indication that Ambar is using her powers [[FanonDiscontinuity unless you count the original Crest Diaries comic]].
%%* QuestForSex: Miles' main goal in life.
* RageBreakingPoint: When Mora visits Alej on Tootsie's request to try and make peace with her before she destroys herself. It seemed to be going well, until Mora sticks her foot in her mouth when she WRONGFULLY assumed the reason why Alej hated her was over a high school crush years ago and that she's willing to forgive the trivial spat. Alej got so angry at the assumption she SNAPPED HER SHOTGUN IN TWO with her bare hands.
* ReallyGetsAround: Geecku, who was once stated to have had sex with well over 4,000 guys.
** Actually, Geecku did it with 3273 guys according to [[http://browse.deviantart.com/?qh=§ion=&q=geecku+bat#/d175c1 this comic]] (though it certainly wouldn't be surprising if she's broken 4000 by now, since we have no idea how long ago that was).
* ReallySevenHundredYearsOld: The Crests are all far older than they look, though exactly how old is uncertain.
** [[spoiler: Also Minos and Ambar.]]
* RedOniBlueOni: [[http://laslindas.katbox.net/archive/equal/ Discussed between NZ Spirits and their creators.]] A warp spirit is born from a creator who thinks in details and has a strong analytical mind. A sacred spirit is born from a compassionate creator with a strong heart.
%%* RescueRomance: Mora and Minos.
* {{Retcon}}:
** Rachael had once stated she went to high school, which contradicts the fact that she and Sarah grew up on the streets, thus Lost Kittens was made to show that she lied.
** Tootsie was retconned into being straight.
** Angel is now a former severe meth addict who was saved from the gutter and placed into college by Davin within about a year.
%%* RichBitch: Vixy and, to a slightly lesser degree, Alej.
* RightBehindMe: After successfully sneaking back to the farm after a secret day on the town, Miles and Rachael promise to keep it a secret from Mora...only for Mora to [[http://laslindas.katbox.net/archive/saving-your-skin/ pop up behind them]]
* RunningGag: Early comics would often have characters eating mint ice cream, as an in-joke to [=SoulKat=] hating the flavor.
%%* SceneryCensor: Usually played straight, but occasionally subverted.
* SchoolgirlLesbians: In Learning Curves, Tiggs admits to Vixy she's normally not interested in girls, but finds Vixy to be "different". Also a rather out-of-nowhere case of IfItsYouItsOkay.
%%* ScrewTheRulesIHaveMoney: Alejandra and Vixy.
* SeriousBusiness:
%%** How Alej views the "competition" between her factory and the titular farm. She's pretty much the only one who treats it as such.
%%** Rachael feels this way about the fights in the arena. [[http://laslindas.katbox.net/?p=964 She cuts herself off before she can use this trope by name]].
%%* SheCleansUpNicely: Many of the girls look lovely in their gowns during the Harvest Festival.
* ShoutOut:
%%** To ''VideoGame/WorldOfWarcraft'' on [[http://laslindas.katbox.net/index.php?strip_id=60 this page]].
** Rachael is modeled almost completely, in design and character, after Motoko Aoyama from ''Manga/LoveHina''.
** Backgrounds in several strips during the Mall Arc featured images of characters from two of the other Katbox comics.
** To ''WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagic'': Sarah describing a terrible sorceress can easily be compared to a similar character describing (or singing about) a certain Evil Enchantress.
%%*** Another one with Phi's [[http://laslindas.katbox.net/comic/little-critic/ "reluctant" criticism]] of Tootsie's design.
** ''Film/LordOfTheRings'' gets a shout [[http://laslindas.katbox.net/comic/pest-problems/ here]] when Idward is discovered channeling Gollum in the basement.
** Cocoa apparently shrunk [[WesternAnimation/StarVsTheForcesOfEvil Star Butterfly's]] MagicWand and hung it around her neck as a key.
459CA600* SkunkStripe: Alejandra's hair color.
%%* SpinoffBabies: Cancelled bonus arcs "Simpler Times" and "Lost Kittens".
* StartOfDarkness:
** "Learning Curves", which shows how Miles went from a (more or less) decent guy to the bitter, womanizing cynic he is today.
** "Building An Empire" shows how Alej became the...morally grey business tycoon she is in the main comic.
%%* StealthPun: [[http://laslindas.katbox.net/bonus_dames/ The Minotaur, anyone?]]
%%* SuperDeformed: Several instances.
* SuperStrength: Minos has a lot of this.
%%* SupremeChef: Taffy.
%%* SweaterGirl: Mora [[http://laslindas.katbox.net/index.php?strip_id=106 on occasion.]]
* TabletopGames: The bonus comic "Dungeons and Dames" is all about a gaming group Taffy joins, featuring a ''TabletopGame/DungeonsAndDragons'' expy. Includes further examples of:
%%** DungeonCrawling
%%** TheGMIsACheatingBastard
** TotalPartyKill: This happens in the very first strip, as Taffy - new to her group - and the rest of her party meet with a dire fate that causes their GM to restart their adventure.
** YouAllMeetInAnInn: Following their game's restart, all of the characters meet at The Sunrise Guild, an inn/tavern run by Tila Sunrise.
%%* TakingYouWithMe: [[spoiler:In the backstory, the Emperor tried to do this to ''reality itself'', and he ''succeeded''...sort of. It's complicated.]]
%%* TeamMom: Taffy
%%* ThemeNaming: Pepper-Ann, Halite, Cocoa and Canela in Dungeons and Dames.
%%** And the Ravenhurst girls, Joy, Hope, and Grace.
%%* TheChick: Despite the cast being mainly female, [[TeamMom Taffy]] practically defines this trope more than anyone else.
* TheReasonYouSuckSpeech: Page 273, which is basically an entire page of Tiare calling Miles out on all the crap he's pulled.
--> '''Tiare:''' Okay, my turn to talk. YouSuck. Your turn.
%%* ThirdPersonPerson: Tila and Geecku.
* ThisIsForEmphasisBitch: [[http://laslindas.katbox.net/?p=503 "Because you're fired, bitch!"]]
%%* TriangRelations: Type 4 concerning Mora, Minos, and Rachael. Can also apply to Idward, Mora, and Minos.
* TrueCompanions: Yes, there's quite a few kinks to sort out (especially between Mora and Rachael), but ultimately the farm staff count.
* {{Tsundere}}: Despite [=SoulKat=] bearing a hatred of the very word to this day, even going as far as wordfiltering it on the forum to prevent further use of it, Rachael is being steadily [[{{Flanderization}} Flanderized]] into a textbook example. When this was pointed out to ID {who once stated Rachael is "not, not, NOT tsundere, and [he] will facestab the next person who says she is!"}, he said he couldn't really argue with the classification anymore since Chalo and [=SoulKat=] have seemingly decided to write her as one. Apparently, Rachael ''punched'' Miles when he said he respected her.
* UnknownRival: Alej. Don't tell her that to her face, though.
** In a similar vein, while Las Lindas and Alej's dairy farm empire are directly competing with each other, neither Taffy nor Tootsie are aware of who the other's boss is. This is why they're able to play the ''TabletopGame/DungeonsAndDragons'' expy together in "Dungeons and Dames".
*** Of course, since it's Taffy and Tootsie, it's unlikely they'd ''care'' even if they did know.
*** They do know, from a {{Funny Background Event}} [[http://laslindas.katbox.net/archive/suave/ here]]. It's quite adorable. And they also don't seem to care - after figuring out who they each work for, Tootsie's first question seems to be if they're still on for D&D. They are.
%%* UnluckyChildhoodFriend: Miles to Hope in the ''Learning Curves'' story.
* VictoriasSecretCompartment: Alej keeps her cell phone between her cleavage. [[TrouserSpace Tootsie, on the other hand...]]
%%* VillainousBSOD : Apparently, things had been going [[http://laslindas.katbox.net/?p=605 downhill]] for Alej since the harvest festival. [[spoiler: She was able to recover after [[http://laslindas.katbox.net/comic/in-the-open/ she and Mora recently talked out their problems]] thanks to [[http://laslindas.katbox.net/comic/you-have-to/ Tootsie getting involved]]]].
%%* WalkOnWater: Kate does this [[http://laslindas.katbox.net/bonus_knight/istrip_files/strips/20091209.jpg here]].
* WeAreExperiencingTechnicalDifficulties: There's comic version of Chalo's pen dies. (which is based off of real life Chalo's tablet dying)
%%* WhatDidIDoLastNight: Taffy has this reaction [[http://laslindas.katbox.net/wp-content/webcomic/breasts-are-the-best/BB0024.JPG here.]] ('''Warning: NSFW''')
* WhatTheHellHero: Both Miles and Mora have been called out on their JerkAss tendencies by Minos and Rachael, respectively. Later, Tiare calls Miles out as well.
** And while Mora got to call Rachael out on one of her own tendencies of that variety, apparently only Minos is allowed to call Minos out on stuff.
* WorldOfBuxom: You can count the number of women in this webcomic that don't have tits the size of basketballs on a single hand. That's how buxom they all are.
%%* YouGottaHaveBlueHair: Geecku, Jin, Nina and Tiggs.
* YourApprovalFillsMeWithShame: Rachael to Miles [[http://laslindas.katbox.net/?p=884 here]], when he applauds her [[spoiler:advances towards Minos.]]
-->'''Miles:''' I respect you for what you did.\\
'''Rachael:''' AAAAAAARRRGH!
* YourCheatingHeart: In ''Learning Curves'', Hope cheats on Shin with Miles twice due to feeling neglected by him.
