Perfect Kirby is an internet flash series that is somewhat of a crossover between PerfectDark and {{Kirby}}. Kirby is a vigilante, and one night, receives a mysterious phone call and is taken by force to become a secret agent for an organization known as The Institute. He thus gets involved in crazy schemes such as Xboxes being smuggled into England, kidnapped Aliens in Area 52, and saving the president in Alaska.

There are many cameos from video game characters and some surreal humor. The series is a three part epic made from 2002 to 2003. It can be viewed on {{Newgrounds}}.

!!This series provides examples of:

* AntiHero: Kirby is Type V.
* ArtEvolution: Compare the animation and art from Episode 1 to Episodes 2 and 3. It gets better over time.
* AttentionDeficitOohShiny: From episode 1.2:
--->'''Kirby:''' Just a bunch of boxes. Wait a minute - Bill, Xboxes, England, waffles, Xboxes, Bill, Bill, Xboxes, England, SMUGGLING... Oh my God! Oh my God! A penny!
** However, he does realize what's going on the next second.
* BigBadFriend: Defied with Bill, Kirby's next door neighbor and the BigBad in Episode 1. When Kirby confronts him, he insists that they're friends, but Kirby points out that they've known each other for ''two weeks'', and he indicates that he finds Bill an annoyance.
* BigNo: Bill when being hauled off.
* ButtMonkey: One recurring cameo gets killed off every time.
-->"I'm glad I got to be a pilot in this movie. This will be my big chance to finally show everyone I [[KilledMidSentence can]]-" ''([[DroppedABridgeOnHim hit in the head with a stray bullet]])
* CatchAFallingStar: [[spoiler:Mario catches all the heroes as they fall out of Air Force One]].
* DisproportionateRetribution: Roy fires Professor Oblivion because the coffee was "bland and cherry flavored" (it turned out to be Kool-Aid). [[spoiler: And he wants to take over the world so that he can be rid of Oblivion and his coffee.]]
* EverythingsBetterWithPenguins: Ian
* EvilIsPetty: The BigBad in Episode 3.
-->'''Kirby''': That has got to be, by far, the stupidest reason for world domination I have ever heard!
* FailedASpotCheck: For how often Kirby has likely been in the cafeteria, he seems to have done this involving one of the workers there.
--> '''Kirby''': Wait, there are aliens?
--> '''Neil''': Of course there are aliens. You're an alien.
--> '''Kirby''': Oh, I knew they existed. I just didn't know they worked for us.
--> '''Neil''': (confused) What're you talking about? There's lots of aliens that work here. There's one working in the cafeteria.
--> (cut to Phil in the cafeteria, talking to a giant, multi-tentacled alien)
--> '''Phil''': Yeah...I'll have the...double bacon swiss mega meal.
--> '''Alien''': (reading from a book on human language) Yer so gangster. Yer so hippin jippin in yer mouthwash...([[EvenTheSubtitlerIsStumped devolves into gibberish]])
--> '''Phil''': ([[StunnedSilence "What the heck" face]])
* FatIdiot: Lenny
* HeroicComedicSociopath: Kirby.
* HilariousOuttakes: Many, from a mishap with a wire to Roy saying that he "[[FreudianSlip fried]]" Oblivion.
* LaserHallway: Some laser sensors protect one objective in the Alaska air force base. Ian gets by them easily, but Kirby blunders right into them.
* MadeOfPlasticine: People bleed a lot, and sometimes get liquefied, when they get hit by gunfire.
* MsFanservice: Joanna and HOW!
* NamesTheSame: While the game features many Nintendo and Rare characters, Roy is not at all like the Roy from FireEmblem in appearance or personality.
* NoodleIncident: When getting his first phone call from Neill, Kirby insists that if he's calling about his TV, "the old lady was dead when (he) got there." There's also how Ian knows President Bush.
* OnlySaneMan: Kirby in episodes one and two (though he shares this role with Neil in the former); Ian in episode three.
* OrphanedSeries: The Perfect Kirby 4 progress bar has been at 50% completion for the last ten years.
* PaperThinDisguise: In a flashback in Episode 3.1, Kirby and Joanna Dark were seen attending a villains' conference, and Kirby's only disguise was Luigi's hat. It fell off and everyone immediately identified him.
* ThePiratesWhoDontDoAnything: While Kirby's out on missions, nearly getting killed and finding out secrets, people at The Institute are sitting around, playing board games or doing something else.
* StylisticSuck: During Episode 1.3, Kirby accidentally kills the animator, but he's not worried -- the management will cover for him. At that moment, Kirby turns horribly drawn. After ''one'' shot of Kirby kicking another poorly drawn {{mook}}, he declares that he can't take it any longer, and proceeds to revive the animator.
* TriggerHappy: Kirby, before his induction into the Institute. Kirby was nabbing crooks nonlethally. But once he had a gun, it became the only way to solve ANY problem.
* RedHerring: [[spoiler:The Hippin' Jippin' Gene creates a deadly gas when combined with Oblivion's Kool-Aid, but Roy really wants the President so that he can clone him and, controlling him, take over the world]].
* ThoseTwoBadGuys: [[Literature/OfMiceAndMen George and Lennie]].
* TookALevelInDumbass: In the first part of the first episode, Kirby is moderately normal, even presented as an OnlySaneMan. The very next part, however, he instantly becomes more of a CloudCuckooLander, with just his very first two lines:
--> '''Kirby''': You call [the Institute's base] secret? I've been here lots of times...they have great hamburgers!
--> (...)
--> '''Kirby''': (sees himself on the base's monitors) Hey Neil, look! I'm on TV!
* WhamLine: Episode 3
-->'''Roy''': [[spoiler:Then you know too much!]]
* WhatMeasureIsAMook: Kirby and Ian kill many of the guards on board Air Force One. In the actual Perfect Dark mission, you fail the mission if you kill any of them.
* WhatTheHellHero: Kirby gets called out for almost getting himself and Joanna killed on one mission when he blows their cover going for food.
