An Akatsuki's Life is a Hungarian animated Web series created using Windows Movie Maker and MS Paint having any animation by Dani Fekete. The videos can be found at Naruto-kun.hu and Website/YouTube, which also has several episodes subtitled in English. The series is basically an AffectionateParody of Manga/Naruto, that follows the life of the villainous organisation Akatsuki, but contains countless references to several completely random works. Some episodes are also parodies of well known movies. The plot sticks loosely to the original Naruto story line (from Akatsuki's perspective of course) and is of a generally LighterAndSofter tone.

----
!!This work provides examples of the following tropes:

* AffectionateParody: Of Naruto of course. But there are several other works getting parodied as well.
* AllJustADream: Two instances in the movie. First it's played with in a scene involving Sasori and a talking pimple. The second happens at the end when Orochimaru destroys the HQ. .
** [[spoiler: The end of episode 29: after Itachi dies, it's revealed that everything starting with Kakuzu's death was Itachi's dream and all dead characters are still alive. Then a disclaimer shows up saying: "Of course this is all a what if scenario. This is what really happened" - cut back to Itachi dieing.]]
* AnimationBump: episode 27 has a surprisingly higher frame rate than previous episodes.
* ArtEvolution: Compared to other similar series, this one started off at a fairly hight quality, and progressively got better with each susequent episode. Starting around the Hangover-arc, the series has reached a level in both artwork and animation quality, that can be compared only to made-for-TV animation series.
* BreakingTheFourthWall: The adaptation of Sasuke's infamous "Great Snake Escape", shows the instructions on the scroll Suigetsu used to summon Manda. Flipped upside-down. The last line reads:
--> Did you just seriously just freeze the frame, and spell out what's written in here?! XD
* BrickJoke: At the beginning of episode 20, Hidan mentions he had a dream involving "liberalist rainbow bunnies". At the end of the episode, they're in the yard.
** In episode 24, Hidan is blown up and buried. In episode 27, a CutawayGag has him climb out of the hole just in time to be hit by one of Deidara's bombs.
* TheCameo: Mostly it's characters from Naruto. Then there's the Franchise/Alien, a Franchise/Predator, Kenny, Several characters from Manga/DragonBall and even the main character of WesternAnimation/Ben 10.
** Since the third intro, the opening credits for each episode feature several random cameos, as part of a contest: the first four people to identify all 12 of them would get their own cameo in episode 29.
** Raziel shows up challenging Pein for a duel, mistaking him for Cain. He's blasted away by one of Pain's shockwaves, and is never mentioned again.
** Deidara was traumatized after seeing Theatre/Equus on television. Especially by one specific wand-related innuendo dropped by a character for some reason.
** Episode 31, features cameos from Vegeta, Hulk as well as the four contest winners (though one of them was actually an OC of the fourth contest winner).
* CerebusSyndrome: Probably starts with the last 10 minutes of TheMovie when . The series has been following the original work a lot more closely, but not without ditching comedy entirely.
* ChekhovsGun: All of the unexplained anomalies in episode 20 are brought up again in episode 29, where it's revealed that they were caused by a dimensional rift in the toilet.
* ContinuityNod plenty, similarly to the ShoutOut below. A few notable one:
** When Leo and Elton [[spoiler: first appear as humans, Leo introduces himself as the guy, whom Hidan owed ten bucks. Said debt was made shortly after Leo and Elton were turned into ghost-hands. When Hidan was high on Bijuu, he saw Leo in his ghost form, and they made a bet, that Hidan can pass through walls as easily as Leo can. He could, but it wasn't easy at all, however Leo couldn't take the money, because it passed through him as easily as he passed trough the walls]]
** The thing with a moving puppet-Nagato and puppet-Konan, Nagato built in TheMovie as a present for Konan, appear much later when they .
** In Episode 30 when Tobi runs into the Eight man squad searching for Itachi and Sasuke, Naruto asks Yamato whether Tobi was the same guy whom he helped to defeat the Half-Headed Dragon. Yamato dismissed the idea, because "that guy wore a scarf"
* CurtainFic: The series turns the members of Akatsuki into characters in a sitcom.
* DeathByCameo: Goku and Krillin appear on Hidan's bounty list.
* DreamWithinADream: Sasori falls asleap in a dance club and has a dream involving a talking pimple. He wakes up, releaved that it was only a dream. Then the talking pimple shows up again, and he wakes up in the club, releaved, and remarking that this was a very tricky dream. Then the talking pimple shows up AGAIN, and he wakes up in cold sweat (for real this time).
* EarlyBirdCameo: Suigetsu first appears in a flashback in episode 7.
* FreakyFridayFlip: A three episode arc has an accident involving "misfortune cookies" has this happen to everyone, except Zetsu and Yoropiko (who only switch sides) and Leo and Elton, who (being ghosts and all) simply switch places.
* HeartInTheWrongPlace: Invoked and spoofed. When Pain blasts Nagato's Gedo-cycle, he gets impaled by a flying part through the middle of his chest. Nagato tries to reassure him, that since it didn't hit him on the left side, it surely missed his heart. Pain just laughs, and tells Nagato not to lie. Cut to Pain's t-shirt, it has a heart symbol on it with the text "It's in the middle, f*ck you!" written on it.
* Homage: The episode '8 meters' is an homage to '8 Mile'. It even features a parody of Music/Eminem's The Real Slim Shady.
** Episode 10 is both an Homage to the Hungarian Folktales animated series, and a parody of folktales in general.
* MachoCamp: Kakuzu gets locked up under unknown circumstances. His cellmate is a mucle-bound hairy thug dressed like Bubbles
* MediumBlending: When Sasuke uses his Sharingan in episode 29, the entire scene is rendered in 3D.
* TheMovie: More like 3 or 4 consecutive episodes without the title sequences, but are more closely tied together than other arcs.
* LimitedAnimation: The series itself uses MS Paint and Windows Movie Maker, however despite the series barely having any animation to it, There isn't any animation in the series at all.
* MisfortuneCookie: Sasori ends up opening one that causes the Akatsuki members to swap bodies. It says, "You fucked up."
* NightmareFace: Jiraiya makes one when claiming he's necrophiliac.
* PrisonRape: Kakuzu is nearly raped by his cellmate while in prison. It doesn't end well.
* RapidFireComedy: A standard method of operation, often involving references to other media.
* Sentai: The Power Peins.
* RunningGag: Deidara's hands causing damage in the Akatsuki mansion, which then he has to repair. Subverted in the first episode when it was Kisame who detonated a bomb, and then framed Dei' for it. Also on two occasions Leonidas (the right hand) caused damage indirectly, without using explosives: [[spoiler: in his introductary episode he molested Konan, who then slammed Deidara to a wall so hard, the ceiling collapsed, and a second time as a ghost, when he made a bet with a drugged Hidan if he could pass through walls as easily as he can. Hidan broke out the wall he tried to pass through.]]
** The latest few episodes has Tobi's wigs which are all borrowed from character from other works, in order of appearence: Mézga Géza, and Pom-pom the main characters of two different Hungarian animation series, Marge Simpson and Shaak Ti or at least a togruta.
* ShoutOut: Way too many to list but some deserve a special mention.
** In Episode 8 Yamato and Tobi team up to defeat the Half-headed dragon. Tobi promptly calls it "Mr Sü" in reference to the Hungarian puppet-show Series/SusuASarkany, which is about a kind, one-headed dragon called "Süsü".
** Hanzo's speech is a direct reference to former Hungarian prime minister Ferenc Gyurcsany.
** Kisame and Sasori behave a lot like Franchise/ScoobyDoo and Shaggy in the episode with a sleepwalking Kakuzu.
** Deidara's right hand is called Leonidas. And This Is SPARTA!!!
** Itachi bonding with Sasu2 then later getting killed and resurrected by Kisame.
** Tobi's mask was briefly re-painted to look like WebVideo/TheAnnoyingOrange.
** In Episode 19 Konan takes Pein to introduce him to her parents. On the way Pein asks whether her father is Robert De Niro.
** Episode 25 has Nagato questioning Pein about the five Power Peins, because when he wanted to join, he was told that there were only three places on the team. Then this exchange occurs:
-->Pein: Nagato, you were lame. To be a Power Pein, you need to wear lots of piercings. You needed to drink out a lidocaine bottle to get a crappy ear expander in.
-->Nagato: You know about Manga/OnePiece, right?
-->Pein: Right.
-->Nagato: You know about Enel, right?
-->Pein: Right.
-->Nagato: You know what his earlobes looked like, right?
-->Pein: No.
-->Nagato: That's the problem.
** In Episode 30 Obito is upset because Nagato had the Akatsuki cloaks cleaned, and they turned white. Obito tells Nagato to visualize him going out to public in the white cloak.
-->Random passanger: OMG, it's my favorite BigBad! Would you give me an autogram, Aizen-sama?
** While buried, Hidan was menaced by VideoGame/Worms.
** Kisame finds Langoliers in the toilet. Dissatisfied, he decides to jump in and catch a fish with his teeth, reminding us all that there's always a bigger fish.
* SpellMyNameWithAnS: The never ending mistranslation of Senju Hashirama's name is cruelly parodied as it's pronounced by evey character completely differently every single time it comes up. Variations so far include the oftly used mistranslations from RealLife like "Harashimara", and a HurricaneOfPuns such as "Hátizsák"(-ra) "Házisárkány"(-ra) (backpack and house dragon respectively, with "-ra" being a hungarian suffix) and "Hasisrama" (margarine with hashis).
** The "Pain" vs "Pein" debate is lampshaded with Pein's t-shirt having the "a" crossed out, and an "e" written above it.
* ThisWasHisTrueForm: Orochimaru's true form is young Music/MichaelJackson.
* TheUnreveal: In Episode 20, Tobi is found with only a paperbag on his head. Hidan pulls off the bag, revealing the singer of an Hungarian band, and Gaara's voice-actor in the Hungarian dub of Naruto. Then the real Tobi shows up still wearing his mask... with slight modifications.
* WeaksauceWeakness: While in his true form, Orochimaru's big weakness is apparently a white hood.
