[[WMG: Paul is from [[WesternAnimation/AmericanDad Roger]]'s species.]]
They both learned to speak English fairly well, they can both transfer all of a being's knowledge via skin contact (though in slightly different ways, it's possible that Paul is better or Roger was lying about the exact method being necessary), their species are each [[EveryoneIsBi entirely bisexual]] and they both have neck orifices full of goop. It's possible that Paul was one of the technicians who worked on/tested Roger's craft, and the thing that went wrong with his ship was a cause or result of Roger's ship crashing. Any physiological differences (including Paul's nostrils and invisibility) can be explained by Roger being [[spoiler:a crash test dummy Manga/{{Homunculus}}]] or having forgotten he could do that/never having noticed in the first place.

[[WMG: Paul's species is practically immune to battering damage and g-force shock, but [[KillItWithFire not against fire]].]]
When the agent's car goes into the canyon, Paul seems either sincere or sociopathically uncaring when he says the guy will be fine. Based on the way his expression changed when he saw the fireball, it seems like Paul was being sincere. Perhaps Paul just never had the chance to find out that humans can be easily squished, and [[IThoughtEveryoneCouldDoThat assumed they had similar resistances to those universal amongst his own species]]. Remember, Paul was introduced when he crashed a stolen truck, and even then kept asking to be allowed to drive despite the fact that even by the climax of the movie, he could only "almost" drive automatic cars.

[[WMG: Paul's species are hermaphrodites.]]
When he said that [[EveryoneIsBi all of his people are bi]], he meant bisexual as opposed to [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gonochorism unisexual]], not bisexual as opposed to [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monosexuality monosexual]]. Either way, homosexuality isn't something that matters to his species from a sociological standpoint, because it's either [[BlueAndOrangeSexuality Blue And Orange Sexuality]] to them or is simply not being attracted to people of a particular group.
* Two possible refutations of this: a) Given that no one says "Hey, wait, you're a hermaphrodite!" when they see Paul nude, we can assume that he has male genitalia; and b) The other alien of Paul's species at the end who admires the drawing with three breasts, implying that females of Paul's species have breasts.
* I very much doubt it. Watch the montage closely when Paul zaps his experiences into Ruth. There's a really rapid and quick shot of two aliens in Missionary Position bouncing on each other quickly. Sure seems to hint that they have at least two sexes and have intercourse in recognizable ways. Of course, it could have been a wresting match but given the overall voice of the movie with innuendoes, naughty jokes and swearing, I doubt it.

[[WMG: Paul was sent to prepare the Earth for colonization by TheGreys.]]
Being held captive by TheMenInBlack for 60 years? Suuure. More likely working with them to help prepare the human race for FirstContact with TheGreys. Why else help create Series/TheXFiles and Film/CloseEncountersOfTheThirdKind? Especially the former with its GovernmentConspiracy about getting the human race ready for colonization? Heck, he even says he created AgentMulder!

And as for the latter - its own WMG page says that the aliens have brain-washed the people obsessed with following "the lights in the sky".

And it won't be the "good" kind of encounter, either. Sorry folks; but we're in for a full-on, [[Series/TheTwilightZone1959 "To Serve Man"]]situation. Oh, Paul's never eaten anything bigger than a bird? Suuure. Keep right on believing the AmusingAlien.

But why did Paul help Agent Zoil meet his wife, you ask? YouWillBeSpared BecauseYouWereNiceToMe. Conquering the humans doesn't mean you can't be nice to them.

Paul's last words to Clive and Graeme? "Till next time."

[[WMG: Paul is the actual finale of the B&I.C trilogy]]

Hear me out for the argument made probably a million times, Unlike [[Film/TheWorldsEnd The Worlds End]] Both [[Film/ShaunOfTheDead Shaun of the Dead]] and [[Film/HotFuzz Hot Fuzz]] are proper actual straight parodies of the subject matter they are based on, for Shaun it's a parody of zombie movies, and for Hot fuzz it's a parody of cop action films, but The Worlds End stands out, because it's a lot more serious, it doens't have as many funny moments as the other 2, taking about depression and the main character is suicidal due to being the ManChild. the plot isn't a direct parody of any real Sci-Fi type film either, but then you take Paul, it is a parody of all those Sci-Fi movies like E.T., Men in Black and Close encounters of the third kind.

I think that Simon Pegg and Nick Frost wanted to make Paul as their final Trilogy film but couldn't get any funding for it with UK studios, who wanted to do an EpicFinale type film (one of the themes of The Worlds End is the EndOFAnEra feelings), whereas paul was just another parody that didn't have that feel, so they ended up going elsewhere and it is considered to not be the final film of the trilogy due to that circumstance.
