[[WMG:A Country Doctor is a Doctor Who story]]

A strange set of circumstances for a group of people, a Doctor, and a companion named Rosa. Some weirdness due to being the first Doctor Who story every written, but still.
** Must be a Moffat story given the horror elements.

[[WMG:In ''The Castle'', the "K" in the protagonist's name stands for [[spoiler:[[Main/TomatoInTheMirror Klamm]]]]]]

I haven't come across this interpretation either on Wikipedia or here, which kind of surprises me, because it seems the most obvious one.
** It's a believable theory, but not the most obvious one. Both in ''The Castle'' and ''The Trial'', the "K"-named protagonist is pretty much an AuthorAvatar, so the "obvious" theory is that K stands for Kafka.

[[WMG:If finished, ''The Castle'', would have made a point about not letting your ambitious obscure other paths to happiness]]

Despite the focus of ''The Castle'' is the protagonists' attempt to reach said Castle and cement his position, a very large portion of the text details his relationship to Frieda. Said relationship is destroyed by his quest, and if Kafka had finished the novel that might have been discussed.
