[[WMG: Fanboy and Chum Chum are {{Reality Warper}}s.]]
They had superpowers in "Brain Freeze" because [[YourMindMakesItReal they believed they did]], not because of their underwear. In "Fan Vs Wild" the roof of the Frosty Mart became a frozen wasteland because they were really getting into their "mountain hiker" game (also the reason there was a pack of wild burritos there). Their separation in class tears a hole in reality because they believed it would.

[[WMG:Fanboy was adopted and named by Oz, and Chum Chum was adopted afterwards.]]
If memory serves, in "Dollar Day" Oz referred to FB and CC as his "charges", i.e. people in his care. Since Fanboy and Chum Chum met in kindergarten(?) (reference: "Fan Vs. Wild"), it may be that Chum Chum was adopted into the family after Fanboy, and that may be why Fanboy is the leader of the duo, as well as having the Fanlair named after him and the door in his likeness. Seeing as Oz is such an obsessed fanboy of superheroes himself, it doesn't seem ridiculous that he would give such a name to a child.

[[WMG:Fanboy and Chum Chum will reference the backlash of their show soon.]]
You just know the boys will!
* Jossed; the show ended in 2014 and none of the backlash was referenced.

[[WMG:The name of Oz's mom is Ozma.]]
A Literature/LandOfOz reference (supposedly Oz is the title of a male ruler of the land of Oz, and Ozma is the title of a female ruler of the land of Oz), and "Ozma" also sounds like "Oz's ma".

[[WMG:Kyle is possessed.]]
He hangs out with Fanboy and Chum Chum in some episodes and regards them as his friends, but when they annoy him in a clip of "Tooth or Scare" he tries to feed them to his pet monster. He acts reasonable and level-headed sometimes, and other times he does dark and sinister things; sometimes he laughs maniacally or [[RedEyesTakeWarning his eyes glow red.]] It's left somewhat ambiguous as to whether he is good or evil.

Kyle has described himself as a "practitioner of the dark arts", and is capable of summoning strange creatures, but he's also an IneptMage. His flip-flopping between good and evil could be accounted for if perhaps a summoning went wrong and caused him to become possessed by an evil being which only makes its presence known some of the time.

[[WMG:Kyle is UnskilledButStrong while Sigmund is WeakButSkilled.]]
Kyle is portrayed as an IneptMage with frequent [[MagicMisfire Magic Misfires]] and an inferiority complex to [[AlwaysSomeoneBetter Sigmund]], who is a successful wizard with a lot of power and influence. But Kyle is shown to be able to successfully summon demons, which is a lot more impressive than anything Sigmund does on screen: Sigmund can create a large image of himself (illusion), he can carve pumpkins and move things with his mind (telekinesis), and he can teleport (which Kyle can also do, although sometimes [[ForgotAboutHisPowers he forgets]]). Sigmund also can (slightly) alter his appearance (appearing as a hologram in "The Hex Games") while Kyle can alter his appearance into different people, such as Chum Chum, almost perfectly (sans the braces and the voice). Kyle also seems to be able to alter the actual atmosphere around himself, since it is noticed by other characters, as Chum Chum describes it as "dark and evilly." He also seems to be able to casually change it back at will. Sigmund is able to create purple storm clouds, but its not exactly the same thing.

Also, Kyle was expelled for turning his teacher into a flan, which, in a ''Wizard School'', shouldn't be a big deal, since someone could theoretically just change him back. But later episodes show that he seems to permanently be a sentient flan, which seems to imply that ''no other wizards'' can change him back. If Kyle was given a chance at some real instruction, practice and a chance to improve his skills, he might actually be a better wizard than Sigmund.

This also puts Sigmund in another light, and relates to the AlternateCharacterInterpretation about him: he might ''know'' that Kyle is inherently more powerful than he is, while Kyle himself doesn't realize it. If Sigmund knows Kyle is actually more powerful than him, it would account for his antagonism toward Kyle and his frequency of going out of his way to make Kyle miserable while they were at Milkweed, giving him at least some reason to target Kyle in particular, as he does, as opposed to just sheer pettiness (It's shown in a flashback that Sigmund invited the ''entire school'' to a party on the moon ''just'' so that no one would go to Kyle's birthday party.) The combination of Kyle's lack of skill, expulsion from Milkweed and subsequent reputation as a failure give Sigmund some gratification, but Kyle atill has actual friends while Sigmund likely doesn't (much less subtle in the episode "Sigmund the Sorcerer": note Sigmund's face when he says: "Oh? Friends? Such happy for you" and that it's only ''after'' he hears Kyle has friends that he goes out of his way to try to humiliate Kyle again.)

All of this would mean that Sigmund has a severe case of InferioritySuperiorityComplex, which means Kyle and Sigmund are [[GreenEyedMonster Green-Eyed Monsters]] toward ''each other''.

[[WMG:Chum Chum is a coprophilliac]]
Self-explanatory whenever the school's janitor is around.

[[WMG:Fanboy and Chum Chum are part of the military.]]
Henceforth, why they mention the Internet in a time of 8-bit games.

[[WMG:Fanboy and Chum chum are mentally ill.]]
* Probably they have schizophrenia and that's why they meet so many fictional people (super heroes and villains, monsters, etc.)

[[WMG: Fanboy and Chum Chum will grow up to become [[Series/SesameStreet Bert and Ernie]].]]

[[WMG: Fanboy is the future son of Fanboy from Freakazoid.]]
* Since they are heroes named Fanboy.
