Zero Divide is a series of 3D fighting games made by Creator/ZoomInc. These games could be considered by some as being like VideoGame/VirtuaFighter but with AIs (of which are portrayed as looking like robots) battling in cyberspace. More specifically, the premise is that a set of AIs are pitted against each other to entertain a group of hackers known as "XTAL" (in the first game) and an AI called Eve (in the second game).

Specific titles in the series consist of the following:

* Zero Divide (1995): released for Platform/PlayStation and later receiving a PC port by Kinesoft in 1996.
* Zero Divide 2: The Secret Wish (1997): released for [=PlayStation=].
* Zero Divide: The Final Conflict (1997): released for Platform/SegaSaturn and was available only in Japan.

This article has nothing to do with RealityBreakingParadox (formerly called "Divide by Zero"/"Dividing by Zero") in case you intended to find that particular trope.

!!This game features examples of:
* BreakingTheFourthWall: The first game has an instance of fourth wall breaking, when the announcer asks if the player is trying to break the controller if buttons are mashed repeatedly. This instance can be seen here (Cut to 1:28 when the video has loaded enough).
* Cyberspace: The setting for the universe of the Zero Divide series.
* FinalBoss: Zulu and XTAL are the boss characters in the first game and The Final Conflict while Nox and Eve are the boss characters for the second game.
* HaveANiceDeath: If you quit you will be relentlessly mocked by the announcer, "I can't believe you're giving up so soon! You're such a baby. Go home to your mama!"
* RingOut: Much like Virtua Fighter and various other 3D fighting games, victories by ring out are present. However, unlike most of those games, characters can also catch the ledge of the arena to avert being thrown out.
* RobotAthlete: How all of the AIs appear in the cyberspace world of Zero Divide.
* SecretCharacter: In addition to the bosses being unlocked (under certain conditions), each game features Neco (Zoom's mascot) and Modoki (in the second game only) as unlockable characters.
* SubsystemDamage: The games feature a limb damage system in which individual body parts can be targeted to shatter their exoskeleton. Damage to the arms and legs will weaken attacks done by those sets of limbs to the opponent and eventually be rendered inoperable.
* TheVoiceless: Basically, every character with the exception of the boss characters Zulu, [=XTAL=], and Eve. Of those listed, the latter two also double as announcers in the games they are featured in.
* TooLongDidntDub: The unlockable gag strip in the original game is left untranslated.
