Warp is a PuzzlePlatformer developed by Trapdoor and published by Creator/ElectronicArts. It was first released for Platform/XboxLiveArcade on February 15th, 2012, and then ported to Platform/PlayStationNetwork and PC on March 13th, 2012.

In this game, players control a diminutive alien, Zero, trying to escape a research facility. Early in the plot, Zero regains its fundamental power, the ability to teleport short distances forwards. Other powers are acquired in the course of the game.

!!Warp contains examples of the following tropes:
%%* BigBad: The Base Commander.
%%* BroughtDownToNormal: Zero, at the beginning of the game.
%%-->New Objective: Recover Ability. You don't stand a chance without your powers.
%%* BringMyBrownPants: A lot of scientists invoke this trope while they're cowering from you.
* CannibalismSuperpower: Zero, with other aliens. Technically, he's just absorbing their power sources, but it's played like this.
* ConspicuouslySelectivePerception: The guards are not the most perceptive, though they are reasonably quick shots.
%%* CuteIsEvil: Zero (if the player takes the kill em' all approach).
* DeathCourse: Lampshaded by the commander when he berates his minions:
--> "You imbeciles! I said make a death trap, not a fucking obstacle course!"
%%* DeflectorShield: The "liquid energy" shields.
%%* DrivenToMadness: Subject Siamese, Another one of the alien captives.
%%* ForceFieldDoor
* GeneralRipper: The Commander's efforts to terminate the two escaped aliens do as much damage to the base as the aliens themselves, even moreso on a PacifistRun.
--> "I don't care if it hasn't killed anyone! I'm gonna stop it!"
* GuideDangIt: The only clue you'll get that is a rather vague loading screen hint.
%%* HumansAreBastards
%%* HumansAreMorons
%%* IHaveAFamily: Another thing scientists invoke when they're cowering.
%%* KillerRabbit: "Little guy seems harmless enough."
* KillItWithWater: A puddle of water disrupts Zero's powers, a pool is instant death.
%%* MadScientist
%%* MassTeleportation
* MenAreTheExpendableGender: There are no female staff in the base, though concept art shows they were intended. Also, Zero only kills the male half of Subject Siamese.
* MoodDissonance: On the one hand, the cute design of the protagonist and some silly mad scientist tropes. On the other hand, extreme violence played straight.
* MultipleEndings: Depends on how many kills Zero racks up:
** Cuddles: None/a few accidental? .
** Sunlight: A good portion of the guards? .
** Consequences: Everyone? .
* MultipleHeadCase: Subject Siamese, The alien that gives the Launch ability, is half-male half-female according to its concept art.
* PacifistRun: It's possible to complete the game without killing anyone. Although there is a "buffer" in place for accidental kills; the player can kill up to six people without losing the "Cuddles" achievement.
%%* StealthBasedGame
%%* TeleFrag: Zero's primary attack
%%* UnderwaterBase
* VideoGameCrueltyPotential: At one point, you walk into a room with a bunch of scientists, three isolated death traps, and the cutscene before you enter shows them using these against various different alien subjects because they have reserves. Then you come in, the alarm system malfunctions, and...
-->"Are you sure you want to be so kind to these monsters?"
* WeakTurretGun: One gunshot is all it takes to destroy a turret. Or you can warp into them and tear them up from the inside. Either way, turrets are easily disabled, most of the time.
* WeaksauceWeakness: Zero loses all of his power and moves more slowly if he comes into contact with saline water. Nice that the game takes place in an undersea base, yeah?
%%* YouBastard: The ending is basically this, towards the player.
