''Last Legacy'' is a Flash platformer created by Runouw of [[VideoGame/SuperMario63 Super Mario 63]] fame, and is considered that game's CreatorDrivenSuccessor. Unlike its predecessor, Last Legacy is made entirely out of original and public-domain material, and features entirely new gameplay based around the tile-changing Delta ability, an inventory and weapon system that offers lots of customization (from Chapter 2 onward), and a vastly improved [[LevelEditor Level Designer]].

The first levels of the game, Chapter 1, can be found [[http://runouw.com/games/lastlegacy_rc1/ here]], while Chapter 2: Null Space is [[http://runouw.com/games/lastlegacy_nullspace_rc2/ here]].

!!Tropes in this game include:
* AlliterativeTitle: '''L'''ast '''L'''egacy.
* AllThereInTheManual: A good deal of information about items and enemies in Chapter 2 comes from the collectibles.
* AllTheWorldsAreAStage: In Chapter 1, [[spoiler:the credits level]] is made up of pieces of the other levels.
* AllYourPowersCombined: [[spoiler:Doppelganger uses four of the five types of magic found in Chapter 2. Fire isn't included, but this is likely because flux blasts are just a stronger version of fire gameplay-wise.]]
* AnotherDimension: The setting(s) of Chapter 2.
* AntiMagic: Negative Delta Orbs and shadow creatures disable Delta in a radius around them.
* AppliedPhlebotinum: Delta Orbs.
* BrutalBonusLevel: Chapter 2 adds a harder version of each regular level. Most of them add extra obstacles or enemies that increase the difficulty a bit. The fourteenth level's Hardmode doubles the length of the level.
* CerebusRetcon: At the end of Chapter 1, the hero beats the boss, goes through a credits level, and that's it. Chapter 2 stated that [[spoiler:the boss actually ripped open a wormhole and the hero fell through it, and the chapter focuses on the hero's journey throughout dimensions trying to find their way back home.]] Also, the original ending of Chapter 2 had the hero [[spoiler:return to their home dimension]], but later releases made this ending more ambiguous.
* ColorCodedForYourConvenience: Positive Delta Orbs are blue. Negative Delta Orbs are red. Mages have different colors depending on their type of magic.
* DarkIsEvil: The main enemies of Chapter 1 are shadow creatures, while the most powerful enemies in Chapter 2 are Dark Mages and Dark Beasts.
* DivingKick
* [[spoiler: {{Doppelganger}}: The boss of Chapter 2 is even named such.]]
* DoubleJump
* EvilTwin: [[spoiler: Doppelganger]].
* EquipmentBasedProgression: The items you find across the levels (or buy in the Shop) will change your stats when equipped, such as your health and attack power.
* FlamingSword: One of the many weapons in Chapter 2.
* GiantSpaceFleaFromNowhere: [[spoiler: The boss of Chapter 2 comes out of nowhere and is not explained at all in early versions of the chapter. Later versions gave it a little more backstory and a name (Doppelganger).]]
* GravityScrew: Some levels, Syzygy Forest in particular, are full of platforms, planets, and zones that change gravity.
* HardModePerks: Certain items in Chapter 2 can only be found in the Hardmode versions of levels.
* HeroesPreferSwords: The Basic Scimitar is the hero's only weapon during Chapter 1. In Chapter 2, it's still the first weapon obtained, and while there are some other weapons many of them are still swords.
* InstantRunes: These appear behind the hero every time he uses his Delta ability.
* KillItWithFire: Fire Mages shoot fireballs. The protagonist can do this too with a Crimson Staff.
* KillItWithIce: Ice Mages throw balls of ice which explode into crystals. For the protagonist, there's the Sapphire Scepter, which does the same thing, and the Frozen Tome, which fires multiple balls of ice at once.
* LevelEditor: An extensive one. Any of the levels in the game can be completely created through the Level Designer.
* LonelyPianoPiece: The title screen theme. [[spoiler: Also plays in the credits level of Chapter 1, which is definitely the loneliest place in the game. Even more so considering Chapter 2.]]
* MalevolentArchitecture: Aavikko Castle, the Desert Fortress, and Mt. Zeugma Shrine are all full of traps and spikes, as are the various buildings found throughout the dimensions in Chapter 2.
* RegeneratingMana: In Chapter 2, MP recharges over time.
* ShockAndAwe: Used by Electric Mages, as well as the protagonist when using a Spark Staff or Lightning Rod.
* ShoutOut: The game's title is one to ''Franchise/FinalFantasy''.
* SpellBook: Some of the equippable accessories are magic books. There is also a weapon version in the [[KillItWithIce Frozen Tome]].
