[[http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/555072 Endeavor]] is a game about a [[OurDwarvesAreAllTheSame dwarf]] trying to uncover an ancient secret. Or maybe it's about exploring, [[ItsAllUpstairsFromHere climbing]], and [[SuperNotDrowningSkills swimming]]. Or perhaps it's about collecting [[PowerUp powerups]] and treasure. Or possibly it's just about [[VideoGameCrueltyPotential killing things]]. In this platformer-style puzzle adventure flash game, a dwarf who appears to be even smaller than his fellow dwarves falls off of his mountain and into a MagicalLand called A'jele. Upon his descent, he is encountered by a deity named Malor, asking him for a little favor. That being to collect all of ten (or eleven if the player feels like being an over achiever) [[MineralMacGuffin gems]] so that Malor is given enough power to send the little dwarf back home, which seems to be the [[ButThouMust only way to ascend]]. It has a prequel of sorts called ''Videogame/{{Summit}}''.
!!This game contains examples of:

* AllLowercaseLetters: The game's title is listed this way on Kongregate.
* AllTheOtherReindeer: The protagonist is treated terribly by his neighbourhood for being smaller than the others, and is even prompted by one to go jump off the cliff. [[spoiler:Their attitude worsens during the 'Pawn' ending, where the protagonist unwittingly helped the BigBad. Only in the 'Hero' ending do the protagonist earn their respect.]]
* AncestralWeapon: The main character's family sword.
* BigBad: [[spoiler:Malor.]]
* CollectionSidequest: Can you step on all the flowers?
* CompellingVoice: Malor.
* EarnYourHappyEnding: Among the various endings, the GoldenEnding is easily the most difficult.
* FetchQuest: Collecting the gems for Malor.
** [[spoiler:When the hero discovers he's been helping the villain all along. FridgeHorror ensues.]]
* GoldenEnding: Requires some cleverness.
* HubLevel: Eventually, Malor's shrine becomes this once you collect all of the gems.
* ItsAllUpstairsFromHere: [[spoiler:Along the way back up to your mountain.]]
* {{Metroidvania}}: The only thing stopping you from exploring is a lack of powerups.
* LethalLavaLand: One of the gems is found in a volcano. Though to be fair, it's not really lethal since the character never dies.
* MineralMacGuffin: The ten [[spoiler:(really eleven)]] gems.
* MultipleEndings: [[spoiler:Pawn, Savage, and Hero.]]
* NeverAcceptedInHisHometown: The main character, although if you get the Hero ending then his reception is definitely warmer than the other possibilities.
* OurDwarvesAreAllTheSame: Naturally.
* OxygenMeter: the same bar as the SprintMeter. Getting the Flippers lets you swim for much longer.
* PowerUpFood: The endurance fruit, which extend your endurance bar. There's also two jump fruit that are mandatory to find early in the game.
* SealedEvilInACan: [[spoiler:Malor.]]
* SecretCircleOfSecrets:[[spoiler:The "Deep One"'s following.]]
* ShoutOut: Possibly one to ShadowOfTheColossus, as it also accentuates the sheer massive size of the land of A'jele compared to the dwarf.
* SlippySlideyIceWorld: Found directly west of Malor's shrine. Once you get the boots, however, you can navigate the icy terrain just fine.
* SoftWater: If you land in water from a great height, the main character won't have to recover from the fall.
* SuperNotDrowningSkills: When you don't have the flippers, all the little dwarf does is float at the top.
* SwordPlant: The main character launches one of these into [[spoiler:Malor's shrine]].
* TheLostWoods: The area found to the far east.
* TheMaze: The dreaded underground maze level in which you find a gem and the parachute item.
* UnwittingPawn: [[spoiler:The naive dwarf who collects all ten (or even eleven) gems for Malor and ends up with the Pawn ending.]]
* UnderTheSea: There is an underwater area in the game, that is only accessible by finding the flippers.
* VideoGameCrueltyPotential: Killing A'jele's inhabitants with the lightning power. [[spoiler:If you kill enough inhabitants, then you get the "Savage" ending.]]
* WeaponTombstone: The family sword is effectively used as one for [[spoiler:Malor]].
* WhatTheHellHero: Possibly one from the hero to himself after [[spoiler:he just realizes that he's been helping the evil deity back to power all along.]]
* WoundedGazelleGambit: [[spoiler:Malor uses this to try to coax the dwarf into restoring his power.]]
