-> "...Escape the dreadful Candy Land!"
-->-- '''Juicy Beast''', Game Description

''[[http://www.unblockedgamesroom.com/burrito-bison Burrito Bison]]'' is a 2D Flash "launching" game made by Juicy Beast. Basically, the objective of the game is to launch the titular Bison across Candy Land in hopes of escaping this mad land - all the while evading the gummy bear police and crushing as many gummy bears as possible. Aiding him on his quest are the various power-ups (held by certain gummies) and the various buyable upgrades. In other words, it's a simplistic game with an original twist that doesn't reinvent the wheel, but refreshes it in a nice manner.

The game can be played [[http://www.kongregate.com/games/JuicyBeast/burrito-bison here]], [[http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/562620 here]], or [[https://sites.google.com/site/myunblockedgamesclub/burrito-bison here]]. A sequel, ''Burrito Bison Revenge'', can be played [[http://games.adultswim.com/burrito-bison-revenge-twitchy-online-game.html?cid=EM_G_20120127_bbr here]] or [[http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/590901 here]], where the masked luchador goes back into Candy Land [[spoiler:when he finds out that he left his wallet in it and now can't pay for his supermarket bill.]] And now there is a 2nd sequel called ''Burrito Bison: Launcha Libre'' that can be played [[http://www.kongregate.com/games/JuicyBeast/burrito-bison-launcha-libre here]], where [[spoiler: Candyland INVADES! and steals his recipe book, so Burrito Bison has to call in a few friends]]. ''Launcha Libre'' is also available on Android and [=iPhone=].

!!'''This game provide examples of:'''

* BearsAreBadNews: ''Gummy'' bears to be precise.
* BigBad: The Gummy Bears in general, though a Chef Gummy Bear for the 3rd one. [[spoiler: Though they really didn't do anything wrong outside of keep Bison's Wallet in the second game]].
* BiggerOnTheInside: Candy Land itself as the size of it outside is ''smaller'' than the Bison himself. When inside however...
* BribingYourWayToVictory:
** In ''Revenge'', one can pay a few dollars to completely unlock the game from the beginning, as well as pick up some extra benefits.
** ''Launcha Libre'' lets you purchase upgrades to your piñatas for better loot or add the Moneyachi for double in-game money, making upgrading a lot easier.
* TheCameo: Berzerker, the {{Mascot}} of Berzerk Studios, is one of the opponents Burrito can face in the ring in ''Revenge''.
* CardboardPrison: You would think the gummy police wouldn't take Burrito back to his launching pad...
* CatapultToGlory: The main mechanic of the game, in a strange [[JustForFun/XMeetsY Angry Birds meets Pro Wrestling]] kind of way.
* {{Crossover}}: A collaboration with ''VideoGame/{{Zombidle}}'' features a Burrito Bison-themed world (Candyland) where [[VillainProtagonist Bob the Necromancer]] and his legion of undead trash Candy Land and its Gummy Bear inhabitants.
* DifficultButAwesome:
** Upgrading the opponent you face in the ring makes the perfect launch harder to achieve, but gets you more money and speed.
** Most of the power-ups require a little timing during their quick-time events.
* DirtyCop: ''Revenge'' introduces corrupt cops that give Burrito Bison an extra Rocket Slam when he squishes them.
* DoesNotLikeShoes: One character in the prologue is a barefoot woman.
* DoWellButNotPerfect:
** A good amount of the Achievements in ''Revenge'' require you to squash ground-based enemies, requiring you to avoid getting airborne.
** A notable one late in the game requires you to obtain a Sweet Impact while going as slow as possible, meaning you have to be really good at getting airborne, but somehow avoid picking up speed.
* ExcusePlot:
** Burrito Bison is merely pacing through the supermarket, when he gets pulled into a bag of candy and ends up at a fighting ring in Candy Land. He must now try to get home again!
** The plot for the sequel is even worse, with Bison returning to Candy Land merely because he forgot his wallet there... entirely disregarding the hundreds of thousands of dollars he gains from squishing gummies.[[note]]In his defense, hey, it ''is'' customized. And it ''is'' shown in the first game that the money he earns is CANDY money (e.g the coins being shown to be chocolate coins), so it's not entirely an Excuse Plot.[[/note]]
** ''Launcha Libre'' has the gummies escape into the real world and... steal his recipe book.
* EndlessGame: Beating ''Revenge'' opens up a survival mode, where you are rated based on distance and number of doors smashed.
* ExpressiveMask: All of the luchadores wear one.
* GrievousHarmWithABody: The way the Bison takes out his enemies.
* IFoughtTheLawAndTheLawWon: Only applies in the original. In fact, it gets inverted in ''Revenge.''
* IncendiaryExponent: In ''Revenge'', with the Pants on Fire upgrade, the bison gains the ability to turn into an ''unstoppable ball of fire'' for a limited time if he manages to maintain high speed for long enough.
* LevelAte: [[ExaggeratedTrope Practically the entire game]] (barring half of the intro).
* LightIsNotGood: The villains of the series are ''Gummi Bears''.
* LimitBreak: "Pants on fire" upgrade in ''Revenge''.
* LuckBasedMission: The missions require you to do things like get several perfect launches in a row or get several enemies in a single launch. Annoyingly, doing this ''before'' the mission shows up isn't counted.
* MadeOfIron:
** The worst injuries Burrito has are a few gashes on his arm after he [[SoftGlass smashes through the mirror at the end]].
** Doubly so in ''Revenge''. After every launch, when he comes to a bumpy, bleeding halt... he stands up, dusts himself off, and runs back to the ring for his next launch. Bear in mind, many launches see him at the center of multiple explosions.
** His friends in ''Launcha Libre'' are no worse for wear than he is, ''and'' they all look less beat-up than in previous games.
* MaskedLuchador: The titular Bison once more. His friends in ''Launcha Libre'' as well. Oddly, none of his opponents wear masks.
* MeteorMove: Flying high enough makes you return to earth as a giant cotton-candy-covered meteorite. The standard elbow drop uses a rocket to go faster.
* MoneySpider: Apparently, all gummy bears (barring the police and a few of the special ones) have cash on them. A few carry bags of cash or are floating sacks of cash, which do exactly what you'd think they'd do.
* MuggingTheMonster: Kidnapping Burrito Bison turns out to be a ''really'' bad idea. Stealing his book equally so.
* RidingTheBomb: Complete with cowboy hat.
* RoaringRampageOfRevenge: The first game is simply about escaping Candy Land, and the cops can easily beat up and drag Bison back to the ring after failed attempts. In ''[[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin Revenge]]'', however, Bison's out to get his wallet back from the bears, so this time, ''he'' will give the cops beat-downs and deliberately return to the ring to make use of it again.
* RollingAttack: The chili pepper powerup or "sweet impact" in ''Revenge''.
* SceneryGorn: Most of the landscape in ''Revenge'' is completely obliterated from Bison's previous rampage.
* SugarApocalypse: [[WhatAnIdiot They brought it on themselves.]]
* TookALevelInBadass: A minor one, since there was plenty of badass already. In the first game, encounters with police officers end in B.B. lying on the ground and the officer on top of him. In the sequel, the tables are turned. In the third one, he squishes them on landing despite them now wearing ''bear traps'' on their helmets.
* TopHeavyGuy: Burrito Bison.
* UnderestimatingBadassery: Sure, a new challenger to fight Jawbreaker probably looked like a good idea on paper. The gummies probably didn't expect what would happen next.
* WeCanRebuildHim: Remember Jawbreaker from the first game? In ''Revenge'', he is back... [[spoiler:As a cyborg!]] [[spoiler:And in the third he is back, in a MECH SUIT!]]
* [[YourPrincessIsInAnotherCastle Your Exit Is In Another Wall]]:
** Don't let the first door fool you. [[spoiler: Don't let the second wall fool you either.]]
** [[spoiler:Beating Cookinator doesn't get you your cookbook back. Now you'll have to enter Candy Land and find the scraps.]]
