''Arabian Fight'' is a 1992 BeatEmUp arcade game made by ''Creator/{{Taito}}''.

The ancient Middle-Eastern Land of Shaharayarld is being menaced by an EvilSorcerer, Baruantess, who inflicted a {{curse}} on the wise Sultan turning him into a baboon. Without a ruler, Shaharayarld falls into chaos as Baruantess and his army of rebels, pirates and various monsters quickly took over, the forces of evil threatening to overwhelm Shaharayarld, and it's up to four heroes to undo the curse by defeating Baruantess.

Players can choose between the four:
* [[TheSmurfettePrinciple Princess Lisa]], the fastest in speed and furthest in range, and the sole character capable of firing energy projectiles [[FragileSpeedster but lowest in health]].
* [[TheLancer Sindbad]] - yes, that's how his name is spelled, the legendary sailor from the myths who wields a {{BFS}} capable of executing a ChargedAttack.
* [[TheBigGuy Afshaal]], the burly Captain of the guards who can hit the hardest thanks to his [[EpicFlail spiked ball-and-chain combination]], though the [[MightyGlacier slowest because of his size]]

* ArabianNightsDays: The game's entire setting. The buildings are topped with massive domes, everyone wears turbans with pointy-toed shoes, combatants wield scimitars, there are genies and rocs... [[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin yeah, it's a magical Arabian fantasy like the title said]].
* AttackOfTheMonsterAppendage:
** The Roc is so huge you're battling it's talons and it's head as separate entities.
** The [[KrakenAndLeviathan King Krakken]] you fight on the galley is a Type 1 example, firstly extending two tentacles out of a hole on the deck to crush you to a pulp. After defeating said tentacles, you jump into the hole and face the rest of the monster.
* BarbarousBarbaryBandits: One stage is set aboard a slave galley full of Middle Eastern pirates who will rough you up with scimitars and tridents, and ends with a boss fight against their turbaned, [[HookHand hook-handed]] captain who uses his hook in tandem with a mace to rough you up.
* BattleInTheRain: On the galley as you make your way to the deck, suddenly it will start raining. And you'll fight off dozens of mooks amidst the downpour.
* BigBad: The EvilSorcerer Baruantess who cursed the Sultan and threatens to take over the entire kingdom. You'll face him as a FinalBoss.
* BlindIdiotTranslation: The storyline seems to have some typos here and there, since the game was developed in Japan.
* ClothFu: Princess Lisa uses only her robes and scarf to slap the snot out of her enemies, and she can inflict as much damage as using an edged weapon. Somehow.
* DarkActionGirl: This game contains asskicking BedlahBabe enemies as a mook who can put up quite a fight despite being unarmed.
* DefeatMeansFriendship: A few of the defeated bosses, such as Asura, the Doppelganger and the Yogi, will pledge allegiance to the player as they're taken down. In the FinalBoss battle against Baruantess, they will return to help you out, which ''you'll need'' to even have a tiny silver of hope in beating the villain.
* DemBones: There are living skeleton enemies in the game, who will [[GrievousHarmWithABody detach their skulls and fling these at you]]. Their dropped skulls can bounce around and chew your ankles.
* DeviousDaggers: Barechested mooks will assail you with dual knives, and fling them from a distance if you're beyond their reach. They have a habit of flinging their weapons at you while you're surrounded by the lesser scimitar-wielding enemies.
* DualBoss:
** A pair of overweight brutes will show up as bosses in the desert stage. They're surprisingly {{Acrofatic}}, capable of charging all over the arena in an attempt to stomp over your player, and each occupies half of the current boss health meter. They return [[DegradedBoss degraded]] as GiantMook enemies later in the game.
** The galley level have two muscular wrestlers attacking you simultaneously.
** In a much later stage, one of each half of the above two shows up together, so you'll fight an overweight brute and a wrestler at the same time.
** Two copies of the first boss shows up as a DegradedBoss near the end.
* DualWield:
** Some mooks will wield two weapons at the same time on you, like the knife-using thugs.
** The first boss, a muscular brute armed with two ''massive'' {{BFS}} versions of scimitars.
* EpicFlail: Afshaal, the huge guard and one of the four playable heroes, use a spiked ball on a chain as his weapon.
* ExtendableArms: The Yogi boss can extend his arms to attack you, in a ShoutOut to either the Yogi from ''Film/MasterOfTheFlyingGuillotine'' or Dhalsim from ''Franchise/StreetFighter''.
* ExperiencedProtagonist: Sindbad from the legends shows up in this game as one of the four playable characters, and being a former sailor who spent years in the seas before the game's events, he's a legendary hero whose skills in ass-kicking befits his reputation.
* FlunkyBoss: All the bosses surround themselves with mooks and underlings during the battle. Either by way of SummonMagic or strategically having them stationed nearby before the battle.
* ForcedTransformation: In the backstory, Baruantess transforms the Sultan into a baboon, and it's up to your player hero to undo the curse. He somehow doesn't use this trick on you during his boss fight, so maybe it's a one-use magic.
* {{Golem}}: Sand golems are an enemy in a few desert areas. Inflict enough damage on them and they turn back to a pile of sand.
* {{Kirin}}: In the later half of the FinalBoss, Baruantess somehow summons the Middle-Eastern equivalent of a Kirin to attack the heroes.
* MagicCarpet: The third stage has the heroes on a high-speed chase atop the Arabian skies on a flying carpet, while fending off mooks on similar carpets everywhere. It ends with the Roc boss fight where the player remains airborne.
* MacroZone: One of the levels is set on a ''giant'' dinner table, where there are giants in the background as well as humoungous plates of fruits, eggs and fishes everywhere. The mooks you battle are still the same size as you, though.
* ManEatingPlant: Giant fanged flowers are another obstacle on the island stage. While they're stationary, they can extend their heads to bite you.
* MirrorMatch: The Doppelganger is a WolfpackBoss who turns into ''all four'' of the available player heroes to attack you all at once. She'll become your ally after you defeat all her summons.
* MultiArmedAndDangerous: Asura, the giant Hindu statue with six arms holding six scimitars who serves as the second boss. Occasionally his arms will fling daggers as a ranged attack as well.
* OurGeniesAreDifferent: Befitting the Middle-Eastern inspiration, the game have genies as SmartBomb power-ups which can clear the screen of enemies and deal severe damage on bosses.
* PowerFloats: The veiled wizard enemies float all over the place instead of walking, as does the Yogi boss who will float above the area before sinking rapidly to crush you.
* RankScalesWithAsskicking: Prince Lassia and Princess Lisa, as well as Captain Afshaal of the guards, are the best fighters among the game.
* RocBirds: The third stage which is a MagicCarpet chase ends with your player fighting one of these as a boss.
* SequentialBoss:
** The above giant Roc boss needs to be fought twice, because it's so damn huge it's ''individual'' body parts have their own separate life meters. You must defeat the talons, one at a time, and then defeat the head who can spam [[FeatherFlechettes giant feathers]] as projectiles. Defeat the head and the Roc is down.
** Baruantess, the FinalBoss and main villain of the game, appropriately enough. His first form can TeleportSpam all over the arena, and after being defeated he gains a second health bar as he sic a {{Kirin}} as his steed and attacks you with it. Defeat his steed and he returns as a more powerful form with DoppelgangerSpin abilities, but this time your genie companion, Asura, the Yogi and the Doppelganger will return to your aid. After this third form Baruantess is down for good.
* SinisterScimitar: Downplayed, scimitars are used on both fronts by heroes and villains alike to slice each other to bits.
* TalkingAnimal: The King Krakken, surprisingly enough, can communicate with the player. After you severed all it's tentacles, it then speaks up, and forms a truce with you if you spare it by offering you a ride to the next destination. You agree, and the Krakken keeps its word.
* ThroneRoomThrowdown: The BigBad, Baruantess is fought in his throne room, where as soon as you enter he then teleports away from his throne to fight you.
* WarriorPrince and WarriorPrincess: Lassia and Lisa, the children of the Sultan who wants to save their kingdom.
