I am a big fan of shmups. Also of games that are easy to learn and hard to master. Sometimes of games that are [[DwarfFortress just plain hard to learn]], or [[{{ARMA}} just plain unforgivingly realistic.]] The more moddable a game and the more freedom, the better. Games that are just plain MindScrew or [[VideoGame/HatofulBoyfriend totally insane]] are also good. I am also quite possibly one of the biggest fanboys of HitoshiSakimoto and ManabuNamiki to have ever lived, to the point where I'm even a fanboy of one of the later {{Basiscape}} employees, KimihiroAbe.
