Probably seems a bit of a strange choice, but I was just amazed at the [[HiddenDepths character development]] that took place by the time I reached the end of the series. I nearly cried at the end of the Original when [[CuteBruiser Kei]] thought [[CuteBruiser Yuri]] was dead (which is saying something because I NEVER get emotional over a film). The Dirty Pair Flash series was not so great, however, because even though there was still excellent [[HiddenDepths character development]], the {{Fanservice}} [[BathtubScene in]] [[CleavageWindow the]] [[BareYourMidriff original]] [[ClothingDamage had]] [[HotSpringsEpisode been]] [[VaporWear escalated]] [[ImpossibleHourglassFigure to]] [[BreastExpansion ridiculous]] levels.
