Hi fellow Tropers! I mostly trope around Video Games pages, but will occasionally head over to other pages for a change. As you may have figured out, I love video games, and most of my contributions end up going there. Although I do like Animes, reading and creative writing as well.

The types of games I prefer are {{RTS}} and [[ActionGame ACT]], although I play the former much less now due to the downfall of one of [[CommandAndConquer my favourite franchise in the genre...]] I will generally like a game if it comes with a creative approach of the gameplay, some thought-incurring culture values, and a good sense of humour. On the gameplay vs storytelling front, I'm kind of 50-50. I enjoy games with mechanics that work well and can provide hours of fun despite not having much of a plot, but I also enjoy a good story ever now and then. However, I don't agree to games that sacrifice the former completely for the convenience of storytelling. And I've always disliked traditional [=JRPGs=] that force lengthy periods of grinding on players and meanwhile stretches its plot paper-thin to cope with the unnecessary waste of time.

!!Games that I like:
* {{Franchise/BioShock}} - [[BioShockInfinite Infinite]] rocks! I don't care if everyone else thinks it's overhyped or overrated, I loved it and I'm still loving it now. The first two games are cool, too, though.
* ChronoTrigger - And death to ChronoCross for giving bad ending to the protagonists!
* CommandAndConquer. Gameplay-wise, [[CommandAndConquerGenerals Generals]] is my favourite, although [[CommandAndConquerTiberianSeries the Tiberium series']] sci-fi setting always fascinated me the most. [[ScrewedByTheNetwork Too bad the series had to go down the way it did...]] Oh and [[CommandAndConquerTiberianTwilight Twilight?]] ''([[{{Literature/Twilight}} Not that one]])'' You can rot in hell for all I care.

* ResidentEvil. Though mostly just ResidentEvil4.
* MiddleEarthShadowOfMordor - Yes it might be a bit overpriced for the amount of content it offers (and I got it worse since every game in Australia costs about 10% - 20% more than the rest of the world), but who cares, the combat is AWESOME!
