Hello, this is the Earl of Sandvich here! My name is Chris [DATA EXPUNGED][[note]]did so because this is such a common name and I have no wish of revealing my full name. At all.[[/note]] I've been around this here wiki since the Spring of 2010, and most of the edits I do around here relate to the technical stuff, such as the relocation of wicks or namespacing old works pages to an appropriate medium. I post on the forums too, and hang around Forum Games, It Just Awes Me, the Video Games media subforum, a bit of Yack Fest and the Workshop forums in general.

As for my current status, I am bored (well, aren't we all). [[TVTropesWillRuinYourLife TV Tropes ruined my life]], but at the same time [[TVTropesWillEnhanceYourLife it enhances it]] and [[TVTropesAsAGatewayDrug has in fact introduced me to a few works]]. I am also a self-proclaimed Video Game systems index curator, making sure that everything is properly indexed, capitalized and namespaced.

As of now, I am the Herald for the [[http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/conversations.php?topic=awesome It Just Awes Me!]] subforum, so don't be afraid to PM me if you have any questions about it.

[[TroperWall/EarlOfSandvich Feel free to Vandalize here. :3]]

Also, I'm up for hosting some TabletopGame/CardsAgainstHumanity every Saturday.

[[folder:So what the hell do I do on this wiki anyways?]]
* Mainly [[Administrivia/WickNamespaceMigration namespace transferrals]] (of course... peoples, stop, I beg you, STOP referring to works without a namespace (or worse, referring ANY wick as "Main/"; I mean c'mon, it's such a useless artifact anyhow, more on that later), for our collective sakes please!)
* Occasionally fix the all-too-damn-common "its-it's confusion" ([[http://youtu.be/W8YNi6-pF80?t=27s Take it away, Strong Bad!]])
* When I spot a hottip around, I replace it with a [=[[note]]=] tool. I hope that I'll never EVER see a hottip again, the same way I'd look at ptitles.
* Alphabetizing entries, because it makes all kinds of sense and reduces clutter. If the case is that it's a work within a series, I'd sort the series examples in chronological order.
* I used to chime in at times at the Complete Monster cleanup, felt I gave all the input I could based upon the works I actually know, but I keep an eye out now and then.
* Removing artifacts (tropers' notes are not artifacts and I treat them all with respect, however there are features that no longer have use in the wiki (coloring, strikethroughs and text expansion), as well as those [=<<|Index|>>=] things with just as much use to a wiki page)
* Spacing (Paragraphs obviously are spaced, but between examples there is just no need, neither is there such need between folder markups and the examples themselves, although I do agree that there should be a space between folders)
* Dealing with redirects. And how? [[Film/{{Aliens}} I say we nuke them from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.]] Assuming of course they don't garner enough links at a given timetable.

[[folder:Pages he created (not including namespace transferals)]]
* ApprovalOfGod (launched and started)
* BearyFriendly (sponsored and launched as part of split from BearyFunny)
* HammeredIntoTheGround (sponsored and launched)
* ImageSource (not started or sponsored; launched)
* OddballDoppelganger (sponsored and launched as part of a Repair Shop facelift of one page)
* OvershadowedByControversy (Sponsored and launched, idea by @/{{Elle}})

'''Works:'''[[note]]Keep in mind, some of these are a result of splitting, given I have [[LumperVsSplitter Splitter]] tendencies.[[/note]]
* ''Film/TheAristocrats'' (in order to distinguish from the obscenely hilarious series of [[AntiHumor anti-jokes]] this documentary's about)
* ''VideoGame/{{Borderlands 2}}'' (although I've only just got it in November 2012, I started the page earlier in the summer)
* ''VideoGame/BrokenAge''
* ''WebAnimation/BrokenQuest''
* ''VideoGame/BuffyTheVampireSlayer'' (gathered from tropes on the Series/ page. Hey, I just created a Buffy works page on TV Tropes! I feel special now! :P)
* ''VideoGame/CatacombSnatch'' (as in the game developed for the Humble Bundle Mojam)
* ''VideoGame/TheCave''
* ''VideoGame/ChexQuest'' (my first page contribution to the wiki, and that was long ago)
* ''WebAnimation/ColinMochrieVsJesusHChrist'' (considering I've done the page entirely from scratch and that it's not an ultra-stub, I'm proud of myself. This is also one of my starts on the internet.)
* ''VideoGame/{{Dota 2}}'' (another split)
* ''VideoGame/{{Dwarfs}}'' (this page needs more love)
* [[VideoGame/HalfLife1 Both]] [[VideoGame/HalfLife2 pages]] for the ''VideoGame/HalfLife'' games[[note]]actually started as just placeholder descriptions of both[[/note]]
* ''WebVideo/HitlerRants''
* ''Music/LemonDemon'' (split from the Creator/NeilCicierega page as part of the Creator/ namespace relocation)
* ''VideoGame/Left4Dead2'' (Moving the description and tropes from [[VideoGame/Left4Dead the original game]])
* ''Film/LittleShopOfHorrors'' (particularly to distinguish from [[Theatre/LittleShopOfHorrors the original musical]])
* ''Film/MastersOfTheUniverse'' (Only for purposes of rewicking)
* ''Music/NinjaSexParty'' (thank you ''WebVideo/GameGrumps''!)
* ''VideoGame/PeasantsQuest''
* ''VideoGame/PennAndTellersSmokeAndMirrors''
* ''VideoGame/PokerNight2''
* ''VideoGame/TheRoomTheGame''
* ''Advertising/SegataSanshiro'' (split from the HiroshiFujioka page)
* ''VideoGame/SouthParkTheStickOfTruth'' (since [[WesternAnimation/SouthParkBiggerLongerAndUncut the film]] has its own page, why not?)
* ''WebAnimation/SpyAndPyro'' (enough tropes to take from the Creator/AndrewKepple creator page.)
* ''Music/{{Thriller}}'' (started in an incorrect namespace though...)
* ''VideoGame/ThyDungeonman''

* And I also had brought up dividing the Funny.TheNostalgiaCritic section into years given the sheer volume of that section... and created those pages (leading up to 2011)... umm... yay me for such a useless accomplishment? :P

[[folder:Pet Peeves]]
* How the lock system is handled right now. I can name legitimate reasons for pages to be locked, but through the current system it takes one guy to demonstrate enough disregard to spoil it for everyone. I think a whitelist or a semi-lock (much like that of Wikipedia), while not perfect, would at least reduce incidents while making the experience more enjoyable and accessible to other tropers. It just helps everyone's bottom line since the "Locked Page Edit Requests" page tends to be a pretty slow effort.
* Bad grammar. While I won't be in-your-face about it, I can have slight GrammarNazi tendencies. While I'm fairly perceptive and open, I can get anal about improper uses of grammar (capitalization, spelling, confusion between possessive and contraction (namely its/it's), etc).
* WordCruft. We don't need to know for instance if an entry "qualifies" for the trope. If it does, it goddamn well does, so no need to emphasize the fact.

!!Stuff I Like
! There's not a lot here right now, but it will be expanded in time
[[folder:Anime and Manga]]
* Not a big fan nowadays, but I am particularly fond of the Stardust Crusaders arc of ''Manga/JoJosBizarreAdventure''[[note]]AMEN!! ~@/{{eternal noob}}[[/note]] I did however grow up watching some, especially ''Anime/{{Pokemon}}'', ''{{Digimon}}'', Anime/YuGiOh'', etc. That, and I'm just starting to get fond of ''Manga/DragonBall'' canon.

* ''Disney/{{Aladdin}}''
* ''Film/DrStrangelove'' (what I consider to be one of the best comedies, if not one of the best all-around)
* ''Film/TheGodsMustBeCrazy''
* ''Film/MontyPythonAndTheHolyGrail''
* ''Film/MontyPythonsLifeOfBrian''
* ''Film/MontyPythonsTheMeaningOfLife''
* ''Film/OBrotherWhereArtThou'' (possibly the best in my lifetime)
* ''Film/PansLabyrinth''

* ClassicalMythology (fascinated to it since I was a kid)
* ''Literature/HarryPotter'' (not my favorite series, but got me interested in reading)
* NorseMythology (I also find this fascinating, although I didn't know about it early as ClassicalMythology)

[[folder:Live Action TV]]
* ''Series/{{Blackadder}}''
* ''Series/BuffyTheVampireSlayer''
* The first two seasons of ''Series/{{House}}''
* ''Series/{{Monk}}''
* ''Series/MontyPythonsFlyingCircus''
* ''Series/PennAndTellerBullshit''
* ''Series/RedDwarf''

* ''Franchise/TheHitchhikersGuideToTheGalaxy''. Yes, I've heard [[Radio/TheHitchhikersGuideToTheGalaxy the radio serials]], read [[Literature/TheHitchhikersGuideToTheGalaxy the books]] and watched [[Series/TheHitchhikersGuideToTheGalaxy the TV series]] and [[Film/TheHitchhikersGuideToTheGalaxy the film]]. Haven't played [[VideoGame/TheHitchhikersGuideToTheGalaxy the adventure game]] yet, but I love the series.

* Music/{{Alestorm}}
* Music/TheBeatles
* Classic HeavyMetal(in fact, ''VideoGame/BrutalLegend'' converted me into something of a fan)
** Music/IronMaiden
** Music/JudasPriest
** Music/RonnieJamesDio
* Music/ElectricLightOrchestra
* Music/{{Genesis}} (I don't care if it's Gabriel-era or Collins-era, I just love the music. ''Selling England by the Pound'' is one of my all-time favorites though)

* Music/{{Queen}}
* Music/{{Yes}}

[[folder:Video Games]]
* ''VideoGame/{{BioShock|1}}''
** ''VideoGame/BioShockInfinite''
* ''VideoGame/{{Borderlands}}''
** ''VideoGame/{{Borderlands 2}}''
* ''VideoGame/ChronoTrigger''
** ''VideoGame/ChronoCross'' (shut up! It's still a real great game when taken on its own.)
* ''VideoGame/DeusEx'' (WAY late to the party, but the game still holds up although graphics can be ugly by today's standards)
* ''VideoGame/TheElderScrollsVSkyrim''
* ''VideoGame/{{Fallout}}'' series
** Particularly ''VideoGame/FalloutNewVegas''!
** ''VideoGame/{{Fallout 3}}'' isn't bad (in fact I really like the scenery), but the above just blows it out of the water in terms of story and technicality. (psst, here's a tip: seek out the "Fellout" mod. The game looks better without that greenish sky throughout.)
** The first two games in canon I also have, but haven't really gotten far into the first game quite yet.
* The ''VideoGame/{{Half-Life}}'' series
* Both ''VideoGame/{{Portal}}'' [[VideoGame/{{Portal 2}} games]]

* ''VideoGame/RecettearAnItemShopsTale''

* ''Franchise/SuperMarioBros''
* ''VideoGame/SuperSmashBros''
* ''VideoGame/TeamFortress2''
* ''VideoGame/YouDontKnowJack'' (both old and new; got Vols. 1-4 and the 2011 edition, all for PC[[note]]if you can get past the limitations of the latter compared to the other ports, it still can be fun[[/note]]; The Ride is my favorite)

* ''WebVideo/DragonBallZAbridged'' (TVTropesAsAGatewayDrug very much applies here)
* ''WebVideo/GameGrumps'' (and by extension the works of WebVideo/JonTron, Creator/{{Egoraptor}} and Music/NinjaSexParty)

* ''WebVideo/JoJosBizarreAdventureAbridged'' (same as DBZA)

** ''WebVideo/TheCinemaSnob''
** ''WebVideo/TheNostalgiaCritic''
** ''WebVideo/ToddInTheShadows''

** LetsPlay/{{Sips}}
* ''WebVideo/YuGiOhTheAbridgedSeries''

[[folder:Western Animation]]

* ''WesternAnimation/TheVentureBrothers''

!! Hopeful Ideas

Okay, so instead of placing it in the DarthWiki/UnpublishedWorks section (and therefore artificially create wicks), I'll have proposed ideas listed here until they come to fruition enough to warrant their own page. At the moment, I have just one, dating back from late 2012.

[[folder:Fallout Cascadia]]
A fan spinoff role-playing game (tabletop at the moment, since I would need to know programmers to make a game out of this), taking place around the Seattle area, going as far West as Olympia and as far east as Snoqualmie Pass. I'm hoping I can also utilize Vancouver, BC.
