** A sequel was originally planned and was actually put into pre-production after Shuhei Yoshida left the studio that developed the original game. Sadly, it was cancelled for unknown reasons, with the team members going on to do different projects.
** Dart [[http://www.eventhubs.com/news/2013/jun/30/dart-legend-dragoon-was-cancelled-dlc-character-playstation-all-stars-battle-royale/ was]] [[http://operationrainfall.com/dart-playstation-all-stars/ being considered]] as a DLC fighter for ''[[VideoGame/PlayStationAllStarsBattleRoyale PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale]]'', according to one of the game's modelers, who leaked a 3D model of Dart that he created on his online portfolio (after which his entire website was taken down). This would've been Dart's first appearance in a game in thirteen years. Ironically, this news dropped shortly after Yoshida said in a podcast interview with IGN during E3 that ''All-Stars'' didn't perform well enough to pursue any new DLC.[[note]]Though he did use the words "never say never" is regards to ''All-Stars'' future.[[/note]]
