His actor, Creator/RickPeters, played the role of Elvis in the movie ''Film/ElvisMeetsNixon'', in which Elvis wants to become a federal agent. The characters directly reference the movie, saying that the guy who played Elvis was "not as good as you, Bobby."

** Deanne Bray (Sue Thomas) is married to Troy Kotsur (Troy Myers).
** Creator/YannickBisson's wife, Chantal Craig, also appeared in a number of episodes.
* RealSongThemeTune: "Who I Am" by Jessica Andrews.
* ScrewedByTheNetwork:
** The show was canceled after 3 seasons at the height of its popularity, because a) the network bungled the actors' contracts, and b) the money ran out.
** Plus Deanne Bray was ''pregnant'', which might've proved difficult to incorporate into the show's plot. (Then again, worse shows have managed it.)
* YouLookFamiliar: Jackie Richardson plays a landlady in "Bombs Away" early in the first season, then returns for two more episodes as Lucy's grandmother.
